In this clip, the game has been modified to show the loading/unloading triggers and list the loaded maps on the left.

I finished the game in exactly 20 minutes. This game is difficult to review because on one hand I have fun with it, and on the other hand it was extremely short. The stealth elements are very easy and the levels are basic, with a few little twists here and there. I wish it was much longer, there was potential here for a much…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is quite short but has a very interesting idea and setting. What caught my attention the most was the feeling of being lost in the middle of a cave. I think this is great for moving forward with the game. There could have been many more levels exploring this feeling of being lost in the catastrophobic labyrinth that are the mines. I was scared several times by the jumpscares, and at one point it was perhaps even more than I expected, hahaha. The monster could have been scarier too.…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dark Mine is an independent horror title developed by Cyber752 and published by indie.io that builds its identity around a familiar but effective concept: being trapped underground with nowhere to run and no one left to help. The game begins with a routine mining expedition that spirals into disaster after a cave-in leaves the protagonist stranded in a remote gold mine. What follows is a tense journey through narrow passages and abandoned excavation sites as players attempt to uncover a way out…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dark Mine is a short, creepy little horror game set in a dark underground mine. The atmosphere is the main highlight — tight spaces, heavy darkness, and that constant feeling that something is stalking you. You mostly rely on your night vision camera to survive, which makes everything feel tense since you’re basically defenseless the whole time. It’s not a long or complex game, but for the price, it’s a solid quick horror experience. Perfect if you just want something short and spooky.
