His imagination turns any object into a rocket, a countdown would stop him in his tracks, prop an object up, and await blast off. I showed him launch footage from Artemis II and he lit up.

For George, he loves the book (as did his kids) but was uncomfortable with “distorting” the story, and he felt Woody couldn’t make for a compelling film.

Tesla, a topic that would never be discussed by the books’ co-author, Alan Shalleck, because he was murdered on Feb 6th just days before the film premiere. Both Skorzeny and Shalleck lived in Boynton Beach where Shalleck’s body was found in his driveway.

unlabelledView post →Margret "Maggie" Dunlop Maggie Dunlop feet Curious George (2006) One of my favorite movies of all time when it comes to the colors , never seen anything really top it for me. Really wish they would've keep the polish of the first movie . Sadly was a one hit wonder.

They tried their hand at action figures for 1978 Ralph Bakshi animated Lord of the Rings movie 🧵

unlabelledView post →When my son was born, I struggled with PPD and gender dysphoria which made me struggle to "feel like a mum" Until we saw the Curious George movie together. I was the man in the yellow hat and he was my little monkey and when I was his age, I used to be that monkey. It clicked finally.
unlabelledView post →I’ve never been able to find it, but I swear I remember reading a review of the Curious George movie that said the music was done by Jack Johnson, “a singer-songwriter so bland he makes James Taylor look like Rage Against the Machine,” and I think about that a lot.

unlabelledView post →In a moment of serendipity, I was just now thinking how much I love the song Upside Down by Jack Johnson and also how much that is tied to the fact that it’s in the Curious George movie. And then I was thinking about how good that movie is. How surprisingly beautiful.

unlabelledView post →The entire show is written so lazily it's just another form of slop. I have a paw patrol book we got at a garage sale where one windmill at a windmill farm stops spinning because one of the blades broke causing a power outage, so they use a surf board as a replacement blade and the day is saved. Literally not how any of this works and they could've spent 5 minutes researching windmills and made an actually educational story but instead they went for slop. Y'know how they could've written it…

His favorite song to tease me with is The Sharing Song by Jack Johnson Music (a song from the Curious George movie). #AICompanion

unlabelledView post →This album, which is the soundtrack to the surprisingly sweet Curious George movie, reminds me and Best Pal John very much of US. The songs feel like they're about US. The fun, the laughs, and the adventures of a big guy and his little stuffed bull in the big city. (And Randi too!)

unlabelledView post →Honestly, the 2006 Curious George movie was good enough the way it was. Meanwhile, the actual live-action Woody Woodpecker movie was awful.

unlabelledView post →Another new movie I watched for the first time since being in 2nd Grade. Curious George, the 2006 movie before the PBS Kids show. It’s definitely primarily for children, but I had a good time with it with some wholesome charm and really nice animation.
unlabelledView post →That too! I honestly enjoyed all 6 of the Curious George movies! The Molly from Denali movie was pretty cool too (at one point the mom who flies a small plane professionally has to explain that she isn't qualified to fly the helicopter into the blizzard to save a friend who's trapped on the mountain!)
unlabelledView post →If it is any consolation, the next time that we see Curious George is in the opening of the movie, 28 Days Later. So, y'know, it evens out, I figure.

This is the closest security area to the movie theater.
unlabelledView post →Harold and the Cliched Real World Adventure - The hand-drawn animation at the beginning is beautiful and even reminds me a bit of the Curious George movie from 2006.
unlabelledView post →Date Movie. Mom left me and a friend at a movie theater, I was a dumb teenager so went to see dumb teenager movie. Should've seen Curious George instead. Movie was terrible and full of fat jokes, and really demeaning to women. That was my birthday present too :/ felt like I got robbed
unlabelledView post →Last night was full of curiosity and whimsical wonder, as @ageddragonflame.bsky.social and I decided to watch Curious George. I haven’t seen this movie since I was 7 years old, and my god we loved it so. George was such an adorable little monkey and the movie was so colorful and cheery, it was fun
unlabelledView post →I find it hilarious (but not in a condescending way) whenever children’s IPs lock tf in with their animation quality whenever a movie release rolls around. Not really seen half of these in full but shoutout to Curious George for having Princess and the Frog quality before PatF.

unlabelledView post →Adults who've raised children, (particularly from a very young age if you stepped in for someone), was there something they enjoyed that you also genuinely liked, not just in a "good for a kid" kind of way? I just randomly recalled how much I liked Jack Johnson's music for the Curious George movie.
unlabelledView post →Jack Johnson’s Upside Down will always hold a special place for me. It was featured in the Curious George Movie, which I watched with my boys a zillion times. We had the soundtrack, which we used to put them to bed mist mights. Long live Monkey George! #XPNCountdown

unlabelledView post →The little one is a serious #CuriousGeorge fan and especially likes "George and the Guide Dog", I suspect because the heavily featured but uncredited voice actress for "Diana" sounds exactly like the wonderful Kate Micucci. I am guessing there was some kind of contract issue that did not allow Micucci to attach her name https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14187228/fullcredits/
