60 of 306 · most liked firstAlt-Right VTuber community is having a meltdown because the devs of Crime Boss: Rockay City dropped Kirsche because of her white supremacy and Nazi rhetoric. The game is currently being review bombed by Asmon fans etc. I thought we were supposed to be the hate mob and fragile snowflakes LMFAO
unlabelledView post →I first heard of this game over a year ago, as Kirsche repeatedly lamented being unwilling to play her favorite game because of controversy between herself and the devs. Well, as the devs have taken steps to mend fences and Kirsche has started playing again, I got the game for myself. It can be a little rough to play in single player, because the bot allies (though they have apparently had a lot of improvements made to them) simply aren't anywhere near as good as other human players. Playing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is rough in a lotta spots mainly the story and presentation. but the heisting fantasy feels great even in stealth wich is usually a miss for me I enjoy here. P.S TOTAL FOXU VICTORY
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game because I saw how much fun Kirsche Verstahl had playing it, and because it seemed like a fun alternative to Payday 2/3. Because the devs at Ingame Studios are actively making amends with Kirsche, I'm willing to give this game a second chance.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One new DLC every 1-2 month, paying like a rental. DLCs arent only cosmetic, some even are needed for gameplay. Bugs all around and now even my 3070 doesnt has enough graphics memory to run it anymore. Shop still says 1650 would be enough, but dont trust it. Its poorly optimized.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So happy to see the devs not listen to bullies, and evil cancel mob liars. I bought this game out of respect for them standing up to hateful people. Kirsche was right, the game is great fun! I can see this being my daily driver, fun style, satisfyingly gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Publisher behind Blades Of Fire and Crime Boss Rockay City suddenly gets cold feet when spending might result in good game
unlabelledView post →The game is not well optimized and is 92GB on the harddrive. So its your average Unreal Engine experience with a okay at best coop game attached to it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chuck Norris was so strong when he did push ups he would push the Earth down. Rest In Peace Chuck Norris and Michael Madsen as well. May you live on forever in this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The devs made a mistake, and then they made it right to a satisfactory degree with the person they wronged. I am rewarding that behavior by purchasing the game at full price. This is one sale they made because of the Foxu. Don't forget to use code KIRSCHE for 10% off your next order with Gamersupps~!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I initially got the game cause the devs made amends with the foxu. I was surprised by how much I am enjoying it. The gameplay is nice and the characters are funny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had already some hours on Xbox, was a fun alternative to Payday, with some Starpower like Chuck Norris, and such; roguelike, zombie modes to spice it up, etc. Nice gunplay overall. Not perfect still fun game with a lot of potential. Got now a copy on Steam to start over, esp. with proper M&K Support and also finally kirsche is back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is a fun one, has it's problems, but nothing that can't be worked around. There was some drama in the past but the devs were cool and apologized for their ♥♥♥♥ up. Kirsche is a cool streamer. It's fun watching her run around and just have so much fun in the game, give it a try. Also it has Chuck Norris in it. You want to be Chuck don't you?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game on the big sale from when it came to Steam. I didn't think I would play it all that much. Almost 50 hours later, I've willingly purchased more DLC packs for this game. You should get this on a deep discount, when the Cagnali's Order and Gold Heist DLC's are added alongside it, but if you're the kind of person who likes silly 80's and 90's action movies, I think you would enjoy the vibe of this game. The game is being actively developed and the content they're adding is clearly…

This is about my Monday and Tuesday streams regarding me playing Crime Boss: Rockay City. youtu.be/iSss9PdLgNY #VTuber #trans

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crime Boss working faster than Gamer Supps to drop a white supremacist bigot? This is pretty poggers. Also, I’d argue that OboeShoesGames/Twos is doing a lot to sell folks on Crime Boss being an enjoyable game at a frequently affordable price without catering to far right stinkers.

Chuck Norris features in Crime Boss: Rockay City (2023) as Sheriff Norris, the primary NPC responsible for stopping the player's criminal empire. As an "Ultra Cop," he investigates high-heat crimes, appearing in cutscenes and leading the law enforcement response to shut down player activities. The gameplay blends first-person shooter (FPS) action with a strategic,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Crime Boss is singing probably the most G-rated "Fuck the Police" song ever. I've heard harder music coming from Avril Levigne.
unlabelledView post →the game is fun dont get me wrong the movement feels like it has weight and the cops hit hard 1. but the fact that when iam in a loud heist my gun sometimes will not shoot when clicking my mouse several times this was before the most recent update and its still a present bug after the update for just the fact that my guns dont shoot when i want em to 2. the ai heisters are insanely bugged or just braindead they will push out of cover without firing a single bullet or just roam around FAR away…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's Payday for 30+ gamers. Nothing fancy but the roguelite mode is fun if you just want to relax.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I honestly don't get the hate for this game. It's gameplay first, it's comically evident. Although the story and acting is over the top, I think it has a lovable charm. The roguelite gamemode I believe is a interesting take on the genre, by no means groundbreaking. Fun challenge solo, better with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All hail foxu. Anyway. The game itself is fine. Stealth is decent, gunplay is good. The bots (ally and enemies) feels like they came straight out of a lobotomization chamber (but I played Payday 2 and they were also similarly lobotomized). Voice acting varies from "decent" to "this is from a gay porn".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They apologized to Kirche so I bought the game.🍒
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crime Boss is the alternative to Payday 3, and honestly, I find it so entertaining~ Crime Boss: Rockay City is a crime simulator much akin to the Payday series, hell, it's even published by 505 Games, the same people that published Payday 2. The big difference is that Crime Boss is a roguelike. Yes, a roguelike. You take on the role of Travis Baker who is portrayed by the late Michael Madsen, as he starts his criminal enterprise in the sunny, Miami-inspired Rockay City. The game is chalked…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how does this game not have an ai warning on the page it has some of the worst immersion breaking ai posters on some mp maps and on coffee machines for no reason. u have the vanilla ice assets for that mission why do this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, i prefer this game to the Payday games. Sure, Payday 2 has a lot more content (because of paid DLCs) and i hope this game will still get updates for a few more years. This game has better gameplay and the mechanics are more interesting but it does lacks in terms of content (maps, weapons, characters). Some characters are interesting but Payday 2 has more interesting characters (because of paid DLCs) and its weapon customization unlike this game. Difficulty-wise, i prefer this game,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played in the past via epic games, but since they decided to make up for mistakes with not catering to cancel mobs and move forward with the audience that the game is actually meant for well .... i bought it on steam and am enjoying seeing the new features its a fun crime fps with an all star cast of A and B movie stars and a fun 80s/90s vibe really look forward to more being added, still diving into story more and likely get game for friends n fam as well here soon. Though its lacking…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As alternatives to Payday go, Rockay has a lot of amusing ideas and its own deranged energy that propels it. Give it a try if you haven't, you may find it infectious.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cant support a game that has Nazis in their partner programme.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth the price, not even worth my time. I bought this game hoping for a solid heist experience, but it was a total letdown. Even if this game were given away for free, I still wouldn't recommend it. The AI is incredibly dumb, the gunplay feels dated, and the missions are boringly repetitive. It relies too much on celebrity cameos to hide its lack of actual depth.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this game for an hour with bots and I can safely say I'm not coming back. It's probably better with friends since both the team and enemy ai is pretty stupid. Not to mention how repetitive the game feels as a whole. Good premise but horrible execution.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At least have a bit of spine and don't bend down to some fascists Jesus Christ
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They apologized to Kirche so I came back. =)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Parterning with the VTuber fascist, Kirsche, was not on my Bingo card, but anything can happen these days in the name of clout.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don’t buy for Steamdeck. I barely played the game on pc back when I bought it because it wasn’t optimized at all. When I saw it popping up as Steamdeck verified I thought they must have done something so I just downloaded it.. just to get 22 fps in the main menu at 25 ingame at best.. lowest settings. The game looks like ♥♥♥♥ and it plays like ♥♥♥♥. So do not buy for deck. It’s not worth the money or storage
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's better than Payday 3 and it's just pure fun for the sake of it. EDIT: Please help me
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like this. The premise is fun and the cheesy voice acting gets a few laughs at first, but the gameplay wore thin pretty quickly. Missions start to feel repetitive, the strategy elements never fully click, and the combat loses its punch after a couple hours. It has some charm and ambition, but I found myself bored and unmotivated to keep playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was basically the replacement for Payday 3 but ran into multiple issues since release and with the teams recent behavour on top of Payday 2 reciving quality updates again, there is ZERO reason to waste money on this game. The Ai generated images used in game still haven't been removed even a year after the devs claimed their inclusion was an accident and would be fixed. Now the teams focus seems to be on promoting neo-nazis on their social media.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Developers partnered, then unpartnered, and then repartnered and APOLOGIZED to openly nazi/fascist V-Tuber KirscheVerstahl. [url=https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/s/6T29XVizOc] Proof is here. As well as the [url=https://x.com/CrimeBossGame/status/2091438330235715675] repartnership.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wasted potential: the video game. But i guess partnering with a 'Great replacement theory' believing nazi is more important than making sure your game actually works, or adding an actually good endgame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decided to partner with a nazi vtuber who literally calls their members the KKK as well as go on rants about people and their ideologies that do not fit theirs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having played Payday: The Heist and Payday 2 religiously for some time each, I can safely say this is what it would have been if it was good. If this is sex, Payday 2 is a Fleshlight and Payday: The Heist is thinking about having sex. If you want to play the Payday you remember fondly, buy this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought the game at launch on Xbox, then bought it for my friend. they dropped Kirsche so me and my friend stopped playing and left bad reviews. I'm now removing those bad reviews and i also bought the steam version as I'm now primarily a PC gamer. good on the company for doing the right thing eventually. the game is a great time and always was. solo or with some friends its worth the time and money.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Foxu victory. Time to reinstall.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is one of those good kinds of jank. Certainly not a game-changer or a true competitor to Payday (tbh, a 15 years old Payday the Heist has more things going on than this game) , but it has its moments. Imho, it is better to skip the campaign entirely (both the original roguelite version and the newer one without roguelite elements), as it is the very definition of ''no thanks''. While the enemy AI has its fair share of oddities, such as this guy:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cutscenes and dialog are desynced very badly, repetitive fetch missions. otherwise gameplay is good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crime Boss: Rockay City tries to sell stylish co-op heists with an ’80s vibe, but the execution falls apart fast. Missions are repetitive, technical issues are common, and the AI teammates are painfully stupid, constantly sabotaging runs. The flashy cast can’t save a game that feels unfinished and frustrating more often than fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've recently started playing Crime Boss again after only playing it for a little bit a while after it released on Steam after the Epic exclusivity ended. Like it was kinda eh when it actually originally released so I can't speak for that but now as the game is, it's pretty great. It effectively plays like a Payday game but with actual innovations and not trying to bank on stuff people liked but not understanding why people liked it in the first place. The biggest thing is as Host of the lobby…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crime Boss: Rockay City is the best Crime Boss game this side of Rockay City! 5/5 voice acting, not afraid to be goofy. If you like Payday 2 you'll like this. Way better than Payday 3.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you dislike what they've done to PAYDAY, with 3, then I think you'll find a good time in here. Way more thought out and cared for, and despite its low sales, they're still updating the game with new major content.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game deserve to get some love. I bought it because of kirsche and it was on sale but the game itself is actually fun not that many micro transaction at or it is needed. The heist are fun and intense and has a pretty good Meta progression. #FoxuWin
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I started playing when Kirsche recommended it recently after the Devs apologized. It's pretty fun, here is my honest review. Cons- Starting here since I do recommend the game overall. 1- Was not immediately compatible with a controller (gamesir Supernova) that I have had no issues with on any other games recently. I had to adjust my preferred settings on my controller. (physical toggles on the back that change how the triggers feel) 2 - 93GB for an install? I know this is what the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got the game based on Kirsche's recommendation. Watched some guy hard carry Kirsche's team on stream. No where near that good at it, but still having fun with it so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Avoid. Developers recently re-associated themselves with an outward and incredibly volatile racist and transphobe and are attempting to sidestep responsibility by claiming that the absence of an "official partnership or payment" are not an endorsement of her behavior, despite granting her the benefits of a trusted associated content creator. Handwaving does not absolve you. Tangentially, Steam Support has refused to grant me a refund despite the game changing dramatically since my purchase, a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I won't lie Chuck pulled me in and I got a fun-casual-FPS-heist game. In these days when everything "has to be" absolutely amazing with the 11/10 mind-blowing story it's very pleasant to play a simple visually 90s filled "regular shooter" with good gameplay and a star cast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crime Boss: Rockay City is an actual FPS heister simulator with a fun gameplay loop and an actual stealth system that works and is also encouraged. A must-have for your collection, especially in COOP. What can I say? I am genuinely impressed! For a game of the 2020s, it has the good makings of a game before the 2010s. It gives the player freedom, loot, danger, immersion. Wow, just wow. For 2 euros (discount), I got the best game on Steam (COOP-wise and FPS on looting). While the unfortunate…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Big fan of the game, but the CM has openly came out to support and partner with a literal neo nazi vtuber. I can't support a game that supports literal nazis, sorry.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trans Rights are Human Rights
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So I ended up buying Crime Boss: Rockay City before the sale ended which was only $2.99 just to play with me and my friends and this review pretty much summed up my thoughts and they are correct! 😌✨ I actually do like the game for someone who’s enjoyed the first two Payday games back in the day.
