It was developed by Pyro Studios and published by Eidos Interactive in October 2003 for Windows, with a Mac OS X port released in June 2005 via publisher Feral Interactive. I think it maybe not finished. Because the actual experience is very different from the introduction of game help. It looks like these developers have done with this game in a hurry, then they quickly release it without quality inspection. Cons: - No movies and bonus levels. - All missions are very hard. You can't change the difficulty of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3: Destination Berlin is a challenging and rewarding real-time tactics game that stays true to the franchise's legacy. The game brings intense, strategic gameplay where every move matters, requiring careful planning and precise execution. The World War II setting is immersive, with detailed environments and missions that test your ability to think ahead and adapt. The game can be unforgiving at times, but that’s part of its appeal. Controlling a small squad behind enemy lines and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest it's not as good as the others in the series, however this is still a decent strategy game and I still enjoyed it.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has some changes compared to previous 2 iterations but in essence is still an advanced, true and tried and authentic RTS/action experience that is just as good as for instance RPG games who resemble similar aesthetic style or direction but is also unique in what it does and how. If you're not familiar with Commando games I'd advise you to start off with previous ones to get familiar. You'll need the experience because there's little hand holding but that's in essence the point of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I shall say it is very hard to believe it is a sequel of Commandos 2. In the previous game everything is done nearly to the perfect. 1, In Commandos 2, you have much more characters to play with, although not every single one of them is necessary, but it offers various way to complete the mission. In 3 a single mission only provides at most 3 character. Not to mention the neglected Diver (my favorite character in 2) only show up once by himself. Not to further mention that mission is so fa…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A disappointing entry to what is otherwise a fantastic IP. Now, after playing and completing the game, I can finally understand why the game has mixed reviews here. Short missions, small maps, really low enemy population, little to no access to buildings, no more unlockable missions, Natasha is no more, same for the Driver. The Diver barely appears in one mission. Menu options are nonexistent, Load/Save menu is awkward and slow, You can't rebind anything and the rotation between…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos is a fantastic series. However, I hesitate to recommend it for the following reasons: Steam no longer supports Windows XP and will soon end support for Windows 8.1. Despite these changes, the game doesn't appear to be compatible with Windows 10. Here's what I've attempted to get it running: Installed DirectPlay. Right-clicked the game's .exe file and set it to run in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode. Regrettably, both methods were unsuccessful. For a better user experience, it's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3: Destination Berlin has improved visuals on its predecessors. Besides that, sadly everything else has gone downhill. Expect some bugs as well. You will probably still get this one on a sale and if you are a fan of the series.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played Commandos and Commandos 2 back in the day. Great games, way ahead of their time. Commandos 3 looks better of course, and it has a campaign, but the game itself... lost the magic. The idea of the original games was to be invisible. Plan your moves and be stealthy. Here everything is more action oriented with timers forcing you to move and act in a rush. This is really not the essence of Commandos. It's interesting for fans of the series, but I don't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a real shame that the "Commandos" franchise ended on the second entry, but at least it ended strong. Right?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →thats what a nazi would say
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After Commandos 1 and 2 this one is just a ridiculous joke
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reviewing games I played a long time ago: If Commandos 2 was the pinnacle in the series, Commandos 3 was a big disapointment to me. Graphics were better, but it's shorter, linear, to much focused on action instead of pure stealth and maps are way smaller. All in all the weakest of the trilogy. This version has no option to change resolution from 800x600 when the prequel had. What?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bummer after Commandos 2 experience! Many years ago, i played commandos 2. I loved that game, it combines strategic and stealth to a perfect gameplay. Today, i tried its successor: Commandos 3. It is terrible! The graphics are poor, stealth gameplay is gone. It has become an action game. And it sucks at that too. Never waste your money on commandos 3, get 2 instead!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't work on recent computers
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →C3:DB feels like an unfinished and rushed game. I was able to complete the 3 separate campaigns in 10 hours total, playing conservatively. Elements of certain maps are present, but unusable. Immediately coming to mind are doors that highlight with F7 but cannot be entered and telephone wires in both missions - Infiltrate the Station and Cripple Nazi Support. The buildings throughout were empty of both enemy combatants and "loot". The Diver was only playable for one mission! I also suffered…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A shocking departure when compared to its iconic predecessor. Commandos 2: Men of Courage was a real-time action strategy masterpiece that is timeless, but this sequel is inferior in almost every respect. Controls are extremely cumbersome, the camera is awkward particularly indoors and level design is incredibly uninspired. Despite some familiar faces returning, the core gameplay feels so different with a greater focus on quicker missions, smaller environments and more action. Stealth is…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My favourite childhood classic RTS game. Used to play Commandos back in the days for hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are uncomfortable to play. I'm used to playing with hotkeys not just clicking on the interface and plus the "help" option doesn't give me anything but only the basics. Sure I have Q and W to change weapons but I want a specific weapon to eliminate an enemy and quick as possible. I feel that the devs overdo something in commandos 3 but I can't really point a finger on it. I feel confused and frustrated (the prequel haven't that problem). Anyways the game mechanics are the problem.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A faster and more action face of the successful series of commandos. Perfect and unique graphics, effects and animation for its time. Smooth and nice gameplay. Tactics and time matter and you must do your best. There is no place for rushing and being a hero. You must be a real wise commando.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's hard to describe just how awful this game is compared to Commandos 1 and 2. It lacks the visual charm, it's a mess and clunky af. Just play the first 2 games instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3: Destination Berlin is a real-time tactical game made Pyro Studios where you control a group of specialists while completing missions during World War II. The engine is improved from the previous game, now being much more responsive, offering faster movement and a new free camera rotation mechanic. The game is divided into three small campaigns, Stalingrad, Central Europe, and Normandy, each with just a couple of missions on noticeably smaller maps than all previous installments,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wonder why a lot of people say this game is bad??? NO !!! This Game is a Masterpiece... It Is a Total New Soul to the Original DNA of the Commandos series...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compare to its predecessors, this is actually the worst one. Only graphic makes it better. The game is very short, and most of the mission are timed which forcing you to play aggressive. And the most frustrating bug is in mission "get to the engine", you can't finish the mission unless you google and download the fix.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The problem with the whole commandos series is that the controls are really horrible. What makes them worse is the fact that the games didn't age very well. The game doesn't scale the resolution to anything modern so at times you need to pixel hunt to get into the right position. This game in the series did fixed some issues with the previous games like the UI is a bit more clear. What it does way worse are the hotkeys, because most of the time they don't work. Also the missions are kinda a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its not a good commandos game and its a bad strategy game. Cant play stealth on most missions and a lot of missions have time pressure resulting in you quicksave abusing the game and brute forcing most missions with grenades and exploiting the ai to complete it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →works great on windows 10, no fixes needed. bought at a bargain price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are absolutely impossible. You cannot use hotkeys for your inventory/actions. It seems that this game was made to be used with the mouse only. SOOO annoying to control and play. Commandos 2 is one of the best games I`ve ever played but this one is just a huge disappointment.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried everything for days but doesn't work on my modern computer with windows 10 64 bits.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Having played all of the 4 Commandos games I can easily say that this one is clearly the worst game of the series; It's a pitty because I am a Commandos fan from my childhood. Let's leave aside the tech problems and the terrible (even for its time) unchangeable resolution. I would suggest to someone to have a look at the forum. 99% of the subjects are bugs etc. I am lucky I have a 10 years old system probably.... but anyway... The most prominent fact is that it gives you the feeling that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's such a hassle to play. I can't play it. And I'm too tired to try fixes, changing the code, etc., etc. Too bad it didn't work so my word of advice. If you just want to install and play don't get this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This and all the other "Commandos" games are ok. It wasn't my cup of tea but I do see it being fun for others.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Plays pretty much exactly the same as the second game with slightly reshuffled abilities regarding tool use, but this time also with a major lean into action. Ends up feeling too hastily put together, and thus rather disappointing. The game's action focus is not at all complemented by its control scheme - the squad still take forever to bring their guns to bear, meaning they are still much more effective at setting up ambushes, as opposed to active assaults. As if that wasn't enough, some user…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fell in love with Commandos series back in 1998, for long time was my best game ever. BEL great, BCD even better, Comm 2 to easy but still great. However, Comm 3 is horrible gaming expirience, controls, camera, there's not even in game list of controls, it is impossible to play in inside spaces. Abosuletely nothing is intuitive, all controls are opposite of gaming logic. So disappointing....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3: Destination Berlin pros: fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on, cons: alot of difficult battles. alot of difficult objectives. lack of directions. difficult gameplay. good game. Personal Suggested Purchase Price: $0.49 Or Less During Sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[ edited ] Its good, I would like a new part of it to be released.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't been able to run it on any computer I've tried so I couldn't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3 isn't quite as good as the first two installments of Commandos, and falls short in many areas but is still a fun Commandos game. The missions and 3 campaigns are very short and second the missions all seem very linear and gone is the stealthy option choice - instead the missions want you to eliminate "all enemies". If you're itching for more Commandos after the first two games then you should try this, otherwise it's fine to skip. The graphics did get a minor upgrade, otherwise the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I could not run it on Windows 10, it works on Linux with Proton. https://www.protondb.com/app/6840
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Most of the hotkeys disabled including weapon change and reload. So it is almost impossible to play. As a big commandos fan, my advise: Get C2 instead, the best of the series... C3 is total garbage

Bir önceki yapımda olduğu gibi ikinci dünya savaşı üzerine kurulmuş son derece keyifli bir oyun olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Eğer strateji türünü seviyor ve farklı deneyimler arıyorsanız kütüphanenize eklemenizi kesinlikle tavsiye ederim. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've spent five hours, and I still haven't got this game down. Too much micromanaging, but not enough hotkeys or ease of access to do so. Still, when I've gotten something to work, it's very rewarding, such as using a gas grenade to put some enemies to sleep as I go in and tie them up. Silently taking out guards one by one (using a pack of cigarretes on the ground and a piano wire from behind, hehe) is another high point. Still, I've not beat one level yet. Maybe I'm just doing something…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hella short, but at least I was able to finish it because it doesn't crash, unlike commandos 2. Fact Remains, Behind Enemy Lines (and maybe Beyond Call of Duty) are still the best, no reason to buy the rest. Still has the same antique camera controls (90 degree snap rotaion outside, smooth rotation inside), hotkeys are even worse (you gotta cycle through weapons). Remember how missions in Commandos 2 were very big maps with multiple objectives, that took you through them, sometimes even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Out of the box, It's possible to run only Legacy version from Steam but with bugs of rendering. After hours of testing, the latest version finally launched. The game is short but it deservs your time. It's an old legend. As a product - it's a chest with unexpected desicions and still unfixed bugs. It’s shameful that the developer is still selling this at full price.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Commandos 3: Destination Berlin is a tense, complex real-time tactics game developed by Pyro Studios and published by Kalypso Media Digital that continues the legacy of one of the most beloved tactical series of the early 2000s. Released as the direct successor to Commandos 2: Men of Courage, it takes the series’ signature stealth and coordination gameplay and transplants it into a series of gritty, cinematic missions across World War II’s most iconic battlefronts. From the ruins of Stalingrad…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've had my eyes on Desperados because it by far looks the most like a direct continuation of the Commandos genre. I am seriously fucking picky about mechanics. Hell I even hated Commandos 3 for breaking the formula too much, despite literally being a Commandos game.
