23 of 23 · most liked firstThere are many reasons Cinderella III is arguably the best direct to video Disney sequel, but I think one of them is... it's one of the few cheapquels where the stakes are actually raised from the first movie. That's an element of great sequels a lot of the cheapquels seem to miss.
unlabelledView post →every day of 2026, I'll post an animated film. 0️⃣1️⃣5️⃣ CINDERELLA III: A TWIST IN TIME (2007) dir. Frank Nissen The second-direct-to-video sequel to the 1950 Disney film. Here, Cinderella doesn't marry her prince, after Lady Tremaine steals the Fairy Godmother's wand and casts a time-reversing spell.

This movie had a really good story, was absolutely hilarious, and had so many twists that I couldn't predict what was going to happen next! This is one of the best Disney direct-to-video sequels and even better than the original Cinderella!

Really great story and damn good animation (Thanks Disney Australia). Also made me feel for one of the Villains who gets a redemption in this movie

unlabelledView post →Cinderella III: A Twist In Time, is a surprisingly good film. The animation is good. The story is alright. I like it. I should start a Letterboxd account for insight like this.
unlabelledView post →Meet the Robinsons is such an underrated Disney film, it always makes me cry wgen I watch it! And I LOVED watching Cinderella III on Disney Channel haha, Cinderella II is super comforting to me for the same reason even though it's just three episodes of a cancelled show slapped together.
unlabelledView post →Have you seen Cinderella III A Twist in Time? It's amazeballs. Punch's waaay above its weight considering its the second straight to VHS sequel to a 75 year old film. Clearly the creatives were left to their own devices and just went all out with the budget they had.

unlabelledView post →This month, I've mandated a Double Feature of the direct-to-video sequels of Disney's Cinderella. This week, we'll focus on Cinderella II and later this month, Cinderella III. Next month, Keleigh will mandate her own Double Feature!
unlabelledView post →Listen, because there was significantly less corporate oversight on some of those sequels, some of them are bonkers in AMAZING ways. Ask me sometime about Cinderella III, a movie I legit bought on hard copy because it’s that fun.
unlabelledView post →Cinderella III: A Twist in Time - 8/10 Imma say it. This is on par with the OG. A total fanfic of a movie like this has no right to be as good as it is. Yet not only do I think it stands toe to toe with the first film, it may even surpass it. For now I think the original edges it out a bit.

unlabelledView post →ehehehe have you ever seen the other Cinderella movies? Like II or III? Cinderella III, a Twist in Time, is a fucking amazing movie. The prince has a personality and he is WEIRD and I WANT HIM

unlabelledView post →Cinderella III: A Twist in Time - 7/10 How is THIS movie good? I can't believe I'm saying this, but Cinderella 3 is somehow the best movie of the trilogy, when it really shouldn't be! But hey, I ain't complaining! Read the full review here: boxd.it/5YPjRZ

positive · AI labelView post →I like this better than the original, really. Anastasia definitely is a more developed character here, you'd definitely like her here! Also, it has more strength from Cinderella herself, and the Prince! Yeah, give this a watch :)
