unlabelledView post →Update on Hades II progress from last night: I guess I could summarize my feelings on the game by sayin- DEATH TO CHRONOS 😤🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 First victory achieved & more to come 😤 Can confirm. This WILL be the 1st game since May to break my top 3 of 2025
unlabelledView post →The absolute audacity to literally make the tagline of your game 'Death to Chronos' and then...not do that. We definitely needed to redeem the patriarch who devours all his kin, right everyone? That's the message that resonates with today, right???
unlabelledView post →update: as if I beat Typhon and Chronos VOW on my first attempt you don't even need to win, you get the achievement just for making it to the mega ultra last fight challenge but I thought "ah what the hell" and went for it and somehow won with like 5 health (think i've played this game too much)
unlabelledView post →Rolled credits on Hades 2 and now I'm working through the endgame content. A delightful story and characters with more more MORE of everything I loved in the first game. Highly recommended. Treat yourself to a little Death to Chronos!
unlabelledView post →It's out! I'm tremendously honored to return as Ares and Dionysus in Hades II, joining an truly Olympian cast of actors. Working with masters at the top of their game like @supergiantgames.bsky.social was my secret dream as a kid, so my inner child is gratified today. Let's go kill Chronos.
unlabelledView post →I cannot express how funny it is to piss off Chronos by immediately pausing the game after he unpauses it
unlabelledView post →Got to the resolution of Hades 2. I know it's not *that* type of game but they should give the player the choice to kill Chronos. Fuck that shit up baby this is not Steven's Universe
unlabelledView post →I think I'm getting to the end of Hades 2's story (already defeated Chronos, now trying to find the 3 Fates) & I've enjoyed the whole experience of playing this game so much. I love looking at every part of it, I love that there's a god mode for someone Bad at Games (me!), I love all the characters.

unlabelledView post →Played and finished it aiming to 100% I have done so for both remnant and its sequel. Even at the current sale I can't recommend it for two reasons. 1: The combat doesn't feel very good and can be won with either spamming heavy or dodge attack. 2: It is impossible to actually 100% more then half a year ago they added achievements for going NG+ and finishing tasks in there, this includes upgrading your weapon to a higher level then currently possible and both beating a specific boss and…

unlabelledView post →playing hades 2 get to Chronos' second form for first time paused so I can get a quick stretch come back he's unpaused the game because he's the god of time killed me
unlabelledView post →Made it to Chronos for the first time in my Hades 2 run! About 15h of playtime so far. Expectedly got my ass handed to me, but progress is progress. Respect to everyone who beats this whole game in 20 hours or so. I'm clearly not on that level but I'm enjoying the hell (lol) out of my time (lol).
unlabelledView post →(Hades 2 light spoilers) Got to Chronos on my fresh file run after hours of trying. Trying to beat the game on night 1. Love that you get unique dialogue
unlabelledView post →Chronos chewing me out cuz I paused the game is extra funny since I paused it to complain to friends about him being a sore loser and cheater
unlabelledView post →Chronos: Before the Ashes Wrinkled through the ages Chronos: Before the Ashes, developed by Gunfire Games, offers an intriguing blend of action RPG elements and puzzle-solving within a time-twisting narrative. While it falls short of the greats of the genre, it still manages to deliver an engaging experience that captivates players with its unique mechanics and atmospheric world. If anything, it's worth delving into just to see the ashes from which Remnant: After the Ashes and Remnant II were…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gunfire did a great job with the game as it's an enjoyable souls-like that ties in with the Remnant games. If you're looking for unique 3rd person Arpg and don't care about the achievements or want more lore for the Remnant world, this is a solid title on the shorter side. However, the trash that is THQ Nordic needs a slap across the mouth for neglecting this game: new achievements relate to NG+ modes however, the mode been inaccessible for over a year at the time of writing this review.…

unlabelledView post →Really loving hades 2, not entirely sure how i feel about Chronos continually sending you forward in time to 9/11 but i appreciate the bold artistic decision to put that in the game
unlabelledView post →According to Director Tomono, while making Digimon Story Time Stranger they got Chronomon's profile and development notes. Originally, the base was the Time God Chronos, but they merged it with the Harvest God Cronus, Zeus' father, for this game to connect with Jupitermon.
unlabelledView post →Would be decent assuming it was cheap. However, they implemented achievements for new game plus and forgot to add a new game plus mode to the game. I don't think that is okay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First of all I want to say that the game is excellent. I really did enjoy myself playing this. Unfortunately the game as it is right now has 3 unobtainable achievements. Since this is one of my main hobbies to 100% all games possible, it as of right now 2025 is not possible sadly. Once they update the game with an actual new game + mode or remove the 3 achievements, I will update this review accordingly. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're a hardcore fan of the Lore from the Remnant games, then it's worth a go if it's on sale to experience the prequel to it all. But it's not a great game. Clunky controls. Wonky hit boxes (especially the final boss)... It has decent simplified graphics, but all in all it's an underwhelming and sometimes frustrating experience. There are better games out there for your time and money. It's not a bad game. If I could give this game a neutral rating I would, but I feel most players aren't…

unlabelledView post →I’ve seen reviews comment on Hades 2’s plot as being a bit rubbish and edgy and maybe I’m just early game but is there some big revelation coming that changes the story of the game? The game’s about killing Chronos while meeting cool Greek characters. I feel like I got what I paid for 🤷

unlabelledView post →This game is actually pretty cool and i enjoyed it. i really wanted to 100% the trilogy but now it has come to my attention that there are 3 ng+ achievements but no actual ng+ and the publishers refuse do actually add the content or remove the achievements witch such a shame.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself is okay, but releasing achievements for unreleased content for years and ignoring peoples questions about it or saying when/if said content will be released, is a pretty crappy thing to do
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been waiting 4 years for them to update the game with NG+ so I can get 3 extra achievements specific to that update. As of right now, they are still unobtainable and the game hasn't received the update. I think it's safe to say this game is completely abandoned and will never be 100% complete-able. Outside of that, the game is an alright action adventure, with some light puzzles elements and combat similar to your typical souls-like. It's got an interesting levelling system, where the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If I had a nickel for every time a game I played this month became “Death To Chronos”, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
unlabelledView post →Normally dying to a boss fight in a game might make me really frustrated, with Hades II it's like... I mean I wasn't gonna beat Chronos that run. Whatever run I'm on will, basically, never be The Run. It's incredibly freeing.

unlabelledView post →Just finished an indie game that I haven't seen before, Katana ZERO!!! It was amazing, cool ending and beautiful pixel art, not to mention the music is boppin'! Zero and Snow are really cool, but I like that long haired Chronos maker the best Also heard a DLC is in the making... Can't wait for it!
unlabelledView post →Petition to let Chronos say Fuck when you pause the game during his fight He already yells at you anyway
unlabelledView post →Picked this up in a sale, purely because its related to Remnant and I loved that game. Other reviews seemed to say it was a very short and quite easy souls-like, so I thought I'd blast through for the lore. Ended up really enjoying it, it has a pretty heavy adventure game element to it, puzzle's are fairly similar to the old Resident evil game's and a few were very cool and quite original. Got stuck quite a few times but always managed to figure it out without resorting to a guide. The combat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like there's only a few things in the 2nd game I dont like and they are minor. Pleased they kept a lot of the charm of the first game. In LOVE with Chronos being snarky if you pause during a fight.

unlabelledView post →After subsequent attempts on Chronos, Hades 2 also Has A Problem with offscreen attacks. When I’m fighting a boss, telegraphed attacks that do significant damage should NEVER be unseen by the player in a game like this.
unlabelledView post →One of those games where I recommend BUT I would not pay full price for it. 30 Dollars seems way too steep for a 9 hour campaign (quicker if you are naturally good at souls like) with very little to none replay value at current time. I bought it at a very good deal and definitely had my enjoyment out of it for price paid. That said, I would probably be having some buyers remorse if I paid full price... (ACHIEVEMENT HUNTERS) This is your warning that their are 3 achievements with no possible…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game with not much depth but still satisfying experience. One of the best entry level games into soulslike genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The overbearing shame that you are left holding at the end of this game is too much.. If you have played Remnant I and II already then you will feel significantly worse. 15/10 lore and story Gunfire games is impressive and to be apart of their development journey and this story is amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chronos: Before The Ashes is a truly terrible souls-like adventure for so many reasons. I played this on another account and could not remember why I did not buy it, so I got it on a steam sale. After playing almost an hour of it.... all the memories came flooding back of why I really disliked this game. Why It is a "BAD" Souls-like ⚫You start the game at age 18. Each death adds a year onto you. Now, this does not bother me but what does is when your young you spec points into "STRENGTH AND…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Currently playing Chronos The New Dawn (yay libraries!). This games vibes are awesome and spooky and the more I play the more I'm intrigued by what the crap has happened. Also the game is tougher then I thought. But that's not a complaint, just had to readjust. And you can pet cats! #blutoid

unlabelledView post →TL;DR Wanna know how Remnant started? Wot I liked - Adventure puzzles: pick up some crank, stick it into some hole - see if it sticks; - Interesting backstory of how root uprooted everyone; - No happy ending; - A different take on soulslike equation: resting at bonfires neither replenishes healthstones, heals you nor reset the enemies. It all happens when you die. As you die you "age", meaning that you have a finite number of tries; - This perma death growing old system: each time you die you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is mostly worth playing for lore
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An an aside, Remnant is actually the SECOND game in the series. The first is Chronos, which was originally an Oculus-exclusive VR game. There's a non-VR version now. You can still get the VR version from the Meta/Oculus store.
