This is the game you play when you're burned out on everything else. Tons of creative levels and a healthy variety of weapons ensure you don't get bored. Co-op availability sweetens the deal. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders saga is always fun to play especially with your friend! Few different weapons, satisfying gameplay and lots of chickens. Probably best Star Wars parody game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 27 years old, and my journey through a dark period was profoundly impacted by a game called "Chicken Invaders 5." My ex-wife and I share a daughter and an adopted son, both now four years old. During our separation, I found myself in a state of despair and self-destruction. One day, overwhelmed by emotions, I punched a concrete wall and broke my fifth metacarpal in my right hand – the hand I used for work, gaming, and, most importantly, caring for my children. This injury plunged me into…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get…

The pacing is tight, the weapons are satisfying, and every wave introduces something new to keep you hooked. It’s not just funny, it’s smart. The humor, enemy variety, and power-up system come together for a polished experience that feels rewarding and genuinely fun at every stage.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: Chicken Invaders 5 is a game that unfortunately fell short of my expectations. As a long-time fan of the series, I was disappointed by the lack of improvement in this latest installment, and in some ways, it even felt like a step backward. I would strongly recommend sticking to Chicken Invaders 4 or 3 instead. One of the major drawbacks of Chicken Invaders 5 is its lackluster story. While the series has never been known for its narrative depth, the storytelling in this game feels…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Used to play local a lot. Killing those chicken at 8 years old was mad funny for some reason.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lovely childhood game. Also very fun to play with a partner :)) However, why does THE GUN LEVEL drop down roughly FIVE LEVELS!! when you die??
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i still dunno which came first the chicken or the egg

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is the best game i ever played. but i refunded it cuz im a dumass and i wanted to buy an more expensive game and i didn't had enough on my debit card :))) edit: i bought it again :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is probably one of the first ever games I played in my life, and the funny thing is my mother introduced me to this game, this is probably her favourite game and my mother isn't much of a gamer, but she loves this game as much as I do, and the fact that it's co-op? It's awesome, the power-ups, everything about this just screams nostalgia and I love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the many classic games I remember playing on my uncle's computer the nostalgia hits hard.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lovely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game! :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself brings back childhood memories worth it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid game! Fun and ridiculous at the same time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even with a decade-old engine, it's still really fun. Each wave is well designed, the music is nice, and the online multiplayer is a cool feature. The story is ridiculous, in a good way. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2929115526
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best shoot 'em up ever made is a kid's game about eating space chickens. God really does have a sense of humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From someone who grew up playing Chicken invaders, really wish to see CI 6. I remember my childhood when at 1 point CI 1 and 2 were played by almost everyone in my extended family.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →brings back the childhood vibe. Chicken Invaders series was one of my favorite back then ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →we still waiting Chicken Invaders 6
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hands-down best game in the series aside form Chicken Invaders Universe. Absolutely recommended and the scenery in some missions is beautiful. You also get more unlockables, no Han-solo though. Great gameplay nontheless and always stood with the same concept regardless.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Games that make you go hell yeah.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders 5
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders 5, I played one of the previous ones way back when I was still in school, but can't recall which one it was. The humour in this one and the graphics with the abilities are bumped, but essentially, in the core, it still stays the same yolk (chicken pun). Great game, but even better with a coop partner, great fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you hate chickens, play it. If you love chicken, play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Family Nostalgia, lots of fun :) best ever
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Making the mother of all omelettes here, Jack. Can't fret over every egg.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really liked the fourth game when I was 12 or something. I think I would still like this game if I was 12.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's just as fun as the other games in the series, but the least interesting one to talk about since it's basically more Chicken Invaders 4 and nothing else. Still recommend if you enjoyed the previous games!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders 5: Cluck of the Dark Side is a game that fully embraces the identity it has built over years of iteration, delivering a straightforward arcade shooter experience that prioritizes accessibility, humor, and sheer volume of content over innovation. Developed by InterAction Studios, it follows the same core premise as its predecessors: you pilot a small spacecraft and fend off waves of hostile chickens in a series of increasingly chaotic encounters. It’s a concept that never takes…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of fun - from the gameplay to the story to the visuals. Perfect for relaxing after a long day, or before an anticipated long day, or any part of the day really. It's just fun. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pew pew pew pew quack quack quack quack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the first Chicken Invaders game I've played, and it is fun. But there's two things about this game that completely ruin an otherwise enjoyable space shooter. First- Why in the world would they make the weapons overheat? That defeats the purpose of basically all space shooters, which is shoot the fudge out of everything before they overwhelm you. But in this game, you can't do that, because your gun will overheat. This brings me to the second thing. Dying is way too punishing towards…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Comparison with 4 part 5 nothing is better maybe a little better than that joke 3. The levels are uninteresting and boring like the story and the constant rotation is stupid and it's still tight or some levels tighter. It still has the stupid overheating and bad weapon balance. The bosses are badly made and almost the same in the battle and again narrowly. The medals are now divided into 3 for each rank, they are the same very stupid. The only plus is that quite a few of the useless upgrades…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never fails to surprise me. From the new crew we have the soldier chicken, drunk chicken, jellyfish, an actual hen house and ''the heart of darkness''? From the previous game fighting a whole planet wasn't enough tho, they had to add the funniest Star Wars reference ever. And do I even need to mention about the tentacles...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders 1 is one of the first video-games I have ever played. It's great to see that the basic foundation that made me love the first game still exists, although I would still prefer the old graphics. It seems there are much more mechanics, and creativity, added over that great foundation that I am still yet to discover– but I still can say that everything beside what I already have seen is a bonus. Game is short (~5h), and maybe I like it more than it deserves for nostalgia's sake…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The latest entry which adds more of the same in most aspects but also adds quite a few things to spice up the formula but in some they excel exponentially while they lack in others. -Pros:- -More enemy types -More weapon types -A lot more medals to get -More bosses -A lot more jokes and cameos -A lot more medal unlockables -Special levels in which you go to different planets has surroundings which actually destroy you upon impact -Cons:- -The medals were bugged for me a couple of times…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun to play when you are stressed or bored. It's not free tho, but still fun.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game made me love ♥♥♥♥ more than i already did. it changed my lifestyle instead of waking up and sucking ♥♥♥♥ i now suck on my nose. i eat my elbows. i beat my chicken soup. i divorce my wife/sister. my life is now complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chicken Invaders 5 is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab by greedy, amoral mobile developers. It's a basic retro shoot 'em up/bullet hell game with a comedy chicken theme, because you know, that's what the old dead genre needed. Not. Gameplay consists of shooting chickens and upgrading your ship etc... it's a very shallow experience and not all that much better than Galaga from the early 1980's, which leaves us to wonder what this game is contributing to the body of all…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never like shmup's where your weapons overheat so you have to click instead of holding down fire. Its about shooting stuff don't tell me i can't shoot as much as i want.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All round fun challenging game. Lots of different enemies attacking from all angles. Its fun for all ages and very challenging especially if you play higher than a novice.
