Just spend my weekend celebrating the fact that Australia keeps making such extremely talented and hot people, then exporting them to us?

positive · AI labelView post →Adam Rehmeier you son of a bitch you've done it again! Carolina Caroline is my favorite movie of 2026 so far and not just because I got to hear my name said a bunch.
positive · AI labelView post →I lucked into this double-feature tonight, but Carolina Caroline is the perfect film to watch after seeing Obsession. Enjoyed both, but wow that second one.
positive · AI labelView post →Anyway… I saw Carolina Caroline last night, and it was great. You should go see it this weekend. It is firmly in the tradition of the film the trailer suggests, and it’s own thing. Very possibly Weaving and Gallner’s best performances to date too. They’re movie stars, and Hollywood hasn’t noticed.
positive · AI labelView post →I am currently the only person in this Carolina Caroline screening, and I am disappointed. I know there’s at least 20 mins before the movie starts, so I’m going to hope this changes.

neutral · AI labelView post →I -loved- Carolina Caroline. It’s not doing anything we haven’t seen in a criminal lovers on the road movie about once per decade since Gun Crazy, but the leads absolutely carry it, charismatic and gorgeous, with undeniable chemistry.
positive · AI labelView post →Samara Weaving and Kyle Gallner are terrific together in Carolina Caroline, which offers an emotional and involving take on a familiar scenario about a criminal couple on the run. My review for @ign.com: www.ign.com/articles/car...

neutral · AI labelView post →Obsession really left a bad taste in my mouth but I thank Carolina Caroline for washing it out. Great movie
positive · AI labelView post →CAROLINA CAROLINE was accidentally a very fitting 4th of July movie, all it was missing was a scene at a local fair. I would commit crimes with and/or for Gallner & Weaving any day boxd.it/f55WxH
positive · AI labelView post →CAROLINA CAROLINE - I’ve seen some variation of this movie many times before, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s like hearing a great cover of a song you like. Not every movie needs to surprise viewers. Hitting expected beats with confidence and skill can be its own kind of achievement. 📽️

neutral · AI labelView post →#FFF movie 2 was Carolina Caroline, which I was whatever about based on the trailer. But Samara Weaving is our grand patroness of FFF, she dragged us in. And I'm very glad she did. Wonderful movie about two really likable characters making some of the worst choices you've ever seen.

neutral · AI labelView post →I can't believe I'm spending my Friday night defending the sex purge romcom. The discourse around this movie is insane. It's a premise, not a doctrine. Meanwhile, I just watched Carolina Caroline and it's one of the best movies of the year and absolutely no one talked about it here or anywhere else

neutral · AI labelView post →For some reason I got her mixed up with Margot Robbie a lot. 🤷♂️ I DO really want to see that movie she's in with Kyle Gallner, "Carolina Caroline." It's not horror but more of a Bonnie and Clyde type thing, I think.

neutral · AI labelView post →Carolina Caroline is out on digital right now, and this would be a GREAT 4th of July choice. It is, a very quintessentially American film in many ways, and isn't blowing smoke up the audience asses. Great writing, scorching performances, and interesting ideas. www.patreon.com/alexapagliuc...

neutral · AI labelView post →I didn't include it, because I wasn't sure how without getting into a whole lot of spoilers, but one thing I really love about Carolina Caroline, is that I think it's a film where what the viewer thinks it's saying is a kind of Rohrschack test. This is free, as usual www.patreon.com/posts/160346...

neutral · AI labelView post →Thanks to Magnolia Pictures and everyone who helped bring "Carolina Caroline" to the Picture House last night (and getting director Adam Carter Rehmeier to Zoom in). A wild road movie that starts like "Paper Moon" and slowly slips into "Bonnie and Clyde" territory. See it in theaters June 5
