negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on this game and it gets 150 likes and 50 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka So im just gonna leave this here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game was good until the addition of timed jobs. 6 minutes to wash, dry, paint correct, clean interior, fix seats, and repaint the car is actual insanity. If you do 4 of those in the 6 minutes you fail, get $0 and take a reputation hit. It'd be easy to skip those jobs too based on the time limits, but the game doesn't even tell you the time limit. Only that the job is timed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not what you think. Within 2 hours of playing, you can tell that every car requires the same cleaning process, same way, same stains and dirt. Rinse and repeat, yes maybe a different model car every-time .. meh If you like OCD cleaning games, this is not for you. You won't get the satisfaction that you would get from e.g. House Flipper or Power Wash Simulator.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's meh. For a game that has "detailing" in the title, there is a big lack of details. There's so much that goes into detailing a car and this game barely scratched the surface. I mean you don't even get to do anything with the interior of the vehicles besides the seats and the floor mats. I want to scrub the center console and dashboard... Like come on. Not to mention it's littered with bugs. The game is mildly entertaining for a few hours at most. There could have been so much more to this.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It loses it's touch rather fast, 10 hours in and I am so bored, doing the same cars, cleaning them in the same way, I know it's supposed to be a simulator but jesus this ain't it. Achievement hunters avoid this, game has broken achievements that you can't unlock!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don’t waste your money and time on this game! This is my first negative review, ever. I usually review games only after 100% completion. This is an abandoned game by the dev with no further updates or bug fixing. No feature update is totally fine but the dev is not even responding in Discord channel for bug fixing. They just keep ignoring players. For the gameplay, you will get bored very quickly by doing the same tasks over and over again. The gameplay is very repetitive and grindy if you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →usually i am a sucker for repetitive simulators but nothing about this one is satisfying. EDIT: i decided to try this again because i ran out of simulators, i played this out of hate. I got enough money to buy the next garage thinking my tools would transfer over, they didnt. I had 400 dollars to my name so i bought a rack and the body car wash kit. I had to fix up a car in order to progress but i wasnt able to because i didnt have enough tools and i wasnt able to go to my previous garage. i…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recommend this game because I really love the concept. It is very relaxing, and chill but it has a pretty big mistake, a bug that has not been fixed since 2022. That bug is that sometimes the foamer does not register that you are covering parts of the car and for this reason you cant continue with your work and need to return the car dirty, and for this you get less stars. This bug makes the game at some point unplayeable, and annoying. I cant recommend it at full price, but if you can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very underwhelming game. This really feels like it was initially planned as a DLC for Car Mechanic Simulator, exact same car models and names from that game, but then the project would have changed during development and turned into a whole standalone game. But the issue is now that everything in there is half-baked. You get over the basic mechanics very quickly, in the end all you do in the game is cleaning cars, and eventually "fix" the paint. No custom paint allowed, you're stuck with one…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it for less than 2 euros and still regret it. Very buggy game, the camera work is awful, bugged out while trying to clean the seats and didint let me get the last spot so the job cant be completed. Good concept but its just a cash grab for sim lovers. Dont buy it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is just basic wash it has nothing to do with detailing, no hand wash, no clay mitts and decontamination, no sealants like wax, ceramic, no steps in polishing, no other machine polisher, unrealistic interior cleaning just foam and hoover.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super simple, not fun to play, seems unfinished.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've tried to play this game and find the user interface very confusing and ineffective. Pressing the mouse button to use the item is useless and more than likely to not do anything at all. Washing the wheels and tires is almost an impossible task since I can't seem to get the tire brush to do anything. Good concept of cleaning and detailing a car but, game falls short of playable due to the ineffective interface and jobs that are confusing at best.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its good in concept but the mechanics is a little messed up. It will say that the car is still wet or has soap when there is no visible soap or water even when using the Q button making it impossible to fully complete the cars
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think PowerWash Sim gave me unreasonable expectations for how well these kinda mechanics work. It was just a bit disappointing. Thankfully I got it for only a couple bucks. Not refunding, maybe I'll want to try again some day.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only reason I stuck with this game beyond the refund window was because I got this on sale for pretty cheap; if I had paid anywhere near full price for this, I would have gotten my money back. The gameplay/controls are ridiculously janky, and the graphics look like a mobile game from 10+ years ago - honestly, you could tell me this was ported to PC from mobile and I'd believe it. The lighting is extremely poor (lighting upgrades should be an enhancement, not a requirement to see), and the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first hours or two it's a cozy intersting simulator game. And you progress fast and efficient, buying upgrade and new buildings. But then.. Nothing, for the rest of my 33 hours. I am an achivementhunter, and have been grinding them. But there are so many bugs and annoying little quirks. That multible tasks bother me. The game is older now, with no updates, and I do not expect these gamebreaking bugs to be fixed. If you collect, fair, it's not a terrible game. But with my knowledge I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright. But a bit boring. I prefer cleaning something real instead of this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very solid simulator, with very good mechanics albeit in a simplied way. If you're into car detailing, or just looking for a casual and relaxing simulator, I highly recommend it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead game, a lot of bugs, dev team doesn't exist anymore, and publisher doesn't care.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, the game has a great concept. however when you start playing and think its going to be anything like car detailing irl your completely wrong. Im a car detailer myself and its like whoever made this game watched a couple youtube videos on the detailing process and made a video game about it. the game mechanics are very poor and also if you are trying to educate yourself on detailing do not get this game for it. I really think with lots of changes it could be great. A lot of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First, this is one of the best bug reporting implementations I have ever seen (for games). If not THE best (FOR GAMES!). I did not have a lot of fun when doing the first car, could never finish the 2nd car. Foaming never got to 100%. So..perhaps there is a good game somewhere but I never got there. But I have to say, if the tools stay the same forever, nope, not a good game (for me). If I have to foam manually until the end of the game, kill me. And drying a whole car with a small piece of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game but should of updated it and made it better instead of making a vr version
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead game, achievements broken, bugs that stop you from selling cars for full price. Pretty short gameplay loop. If youre not bothered, get it discounted.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i watched ammo nyc for years on youtube, i saw that he wsa making a game and i sat on the edge of my seat waiting for it. well it finally came, and it was a shambols not even my dudes voice? the way he plugged it in his videos made it sound like it was going to be just like watching a ep of his show....its awful, doesnt treach u or show u how to detail, tbh i dont think it even shows u how to valet....love u ammo nyc even bought ur products from the uk but refunded your game. keep up the good…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game but cant recommend. Devs have abandoned the game and there are many bugs and issues. Would buy on sale but a fair warning that is a very unpolished experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Car Detailing Simulator offers a relaxing and satisfying experience for car lovers who enjoy cleaning and restoring vehicles to perfection. The attention to detail is impressive, and watching a dirty car shine again feels rewarding. However, the gameplay can get repetitive after a while.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why am I spraying foam on the inside of my car, and why doesn't the game register I'm covering the car enough to progress? Can't recommend it currently.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sad to rate this as poor and was expecting a worth it game asmr. What made me rate this poor at 116 minutes of gameplay are the following: 1. The controls mapping is hell crazy to fix. It says full controller support game but sadly it's not. Iv'e tried fixing the mapping myself, and to no avail, stubborn mapping. 2. The loading screen takes 15 minutes to load and I have no idea why. 3. Cutscenes hang and lag crazy. My rig runs on max 60 plus fps but for cutscenes in this game lag more…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It could be a fun game, the idea is very good, and I bought it because it seems like a good game to play when I’m idle at work. However, unlike other games of the same type, it’s neither enjoyable or satisfying to clean the cars—you’ll actually feel like you're working. The pressure washer cleaning animation is realistic, but again, not enjoyable. All of this is combined with very poorly done lighting, where the cars look like they're in a vacuum, devoid of light, making you avoid taking any…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Purchased this as a bundle on sale, with the AMMO DLC. Got to play some of the base game for about an hour, then switched to the DLC, tried to load up the first car to clean there, and it crashed. I immediately tried to reload the game, and it keeps crashing on startup after the logos. The second attempt in fact crashed my PC and forced a restart. Searched online for fixes, but could not find any success. Most folks talking about the game in the forums seem to complain that it was already…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting, but shallow concept that stays shallow. There's also a bug that can soft lock the game and force you to restart from the beginning. The expected gameplay is good and cleaning vehicles feels nice. If that doesn't sound like it'll get boring fast, then you'll enjoy this. Usually I'm happy with relatively repetitive gameplay, but this just has no direction after you have your basic tool sets. I'd suggest Powerwash Simulator instead of this or get it on a steep discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've put a fair amount of time into this game since release. I used to detail cars as a job, so this was a fun game to chill and relax with. I didn't encounter most of the bugs other people report on, so I was lucky there. I enjoyed the game, however, as an achievement hunter, I DO NOT recommend this game. A bunch of the achievements have been bugged for over a year, and despite reporting them to the devs and sending the necessary game logs, they've never been fixed. It seems like it's more or…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although a pretting good game. It still has issues, causing me to restart the game multiple times. Issues encountered are: Cleaning windows on some cars don't complete as they should. Not allowing already purchased equipment to come over to new shops.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not for me. 4/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To those who are hesitant on purchasing the game because you've read the reviews, I highly suggest you listen to it and everyone else here that is complaining about the game. It's been 3 years since it released, why does it still have dumb bugs and uninteresting game play? If you're going to develop a car detailing game at least make it accurate to what a detailer would go through. Functionality: 3 hours into the game and it started to bug. More than half of those hours was me waiting for it…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is extremely buggy. Harkens back to PC Building Simulator 1 when some jobs were simply incompletable due to errors in programming or parts being unavailable. In this case I ran into multiple issues of wheels not being able to be cleaned in just the single hour that I played. This game was poorly made and feels rushed. I would pass if I were you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easily one of the most relaxing and satisfying car detailing games out there. It might seem niche since it’s all about cleaning and detailing cars, but trust me—it’s surprisingly addictive. As someone who dreams of being a professional car detailer and has a real love for cars, this game checks a lot of boxes for me. The attention to detail is impressive. Watching dirty, worn-out cars slowly transform into showroom condition is so rewarding, and the game nails that “chill but productive”…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who used to detail all kinds of cars for work ill give my take on this game Like CMS its a great start to learning how you would put skills in practice on an actual car My quips come in when in comes to drying the cars as in real life you dont use a washcloth to dry cars (This can damage the vehicles paint) The drying system with the washcloth also seems to be most effective when you do circles which is also a big no go (Damages paint and looks terrible in the sun) 8/10…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like 20 minutes into my latest save, the polishing mechanic broke completely and not even restarting the game fixed it. It completely broke my save. If a game breaks this hard, this fast, i can't even say it's worth playing. I uninstalled it instantly.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think the game is worth the discounted price i got it at ($2) There's still quite a few bugs however the game is charming. It's hitting a few of the cleaning hyperfixations i am currently having. I think it could get better if the devs still are actively working on it, however based off the updates, it dosn't feel likely.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: I'd rather play Concorde for 3 days straight than play another minute of this. If you want to enjoy cleaning a car, this is not the game for you. Go outside and clean your own, or ask your neighbour, and earn some money in the process... Gameplay loop is abysmal, horribly boring, progression isn't, controls are unintuitive and just bad, sound design is non existent. It's just a badly made game to sell more products...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to play to just chill and have a fun time fixing up cars. It is also satisfying fixing up cars if you have a love for cars.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love it but the controls are stiff and some of the tools could be more efficient
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very calming and well done game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly satisfying. i love this game, its very calming
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Disappointing experience** I really wanted to enjoy Car Detailing Simulator, but unfortunately the game feels repetitive and gets boring pretty quickly. The gameplay lacks variety, and after a while it feels like you're doing the same tasks over and over again without much progression or excitement. The graphics and overall presentation are okay, but they don't make up for the repetitive gameplay. There are some good ideas here, but the execution could have been much better. I wouldn't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Car Detailing Simulator" is a relaxing and satisfying game. Cleaning and restoring cars is really fun, especially if you enjoy detailed work.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring, repetitive, confusing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i mean i find it for cheap but very fun game recomand it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A relaxing game that’s not amazing but still a bit satisfying and definitely worth playing for 1 or 2 euros.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clean, polish, repeat—this game scratches the oddly satisfying itch of turning trashy cars into shiny beauties. Relaxing, detailed, and great for car nerds. Downside: tasks get repetitive and occasional performance hiccups pop up. Score: 🧽🚗✨ = 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly on i7 26GB of RAM, it uses quite a bit of CPU time for a detailing game, chewed through my battery in seconds - seriously! I would suggest they go through and fix all the performance bugs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth it even on sale. Gameplay loop is not satisfiying. Auction bet dont even work. Play something else, thank me later.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love washing cars
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is alright, not the worst but not the best either. Pretty repetitive though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game really needs an update better tools and more different car's add a few van more pickup trucks more barn finds i stopped playing as was just the same cars over and over
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much fun as it is to watch someone clean a car on YouTube and actually going out and doing it to your own cars, this game does NOT relay the same feelings as it does in real life. Being made in Unity, I can spare some of its wonky-ness, however, after only playing it for 11 minutes - this game is incredibly boring and repetitive. I love AMMO NYC and what they do, but unfortunately this game is just not it.
