Cake Bash's biggest downfall is that there is only 13 mini-games included (as of this post). So when you're playing "Get Tasty", if all you're playing is the same game over and over, then it can get a bit boring after awhile. I'm hoping that there will be more mini-games down the road. I do wish there were more minigames though, especially given that the original asking price for the game is $20. The game is too repetitive given the lack of content, with there only being two game modes: one for the actual game and another for just playing the unlocked minigames. Overall, I like the characters and find them to be cute and soulful, but the gameplay is repetitive, even after playing the game for less than a hour.

There is no reason for it and I know that people have complained about it before. its like the game was abandoned. My friends and I love the game but have stopped ever since we realized the game was not going to get fixed. I have had the game since launch and decided to write this review to warn people. There isn't much content and replay ability is limited because its the same 12(?) mini games. There hasn't been any additional content in almost 6 years which is a shame. A great way to add something sweet to your game list. As I told my friend: I can lose to you, but I can't lose to a bot. The bots can give you a decent challenge if you don't have 4 players. Lots of cute cakes and a good selection of fights and minigames. Features a 15-20 minute "campaign" mode where you compete in multiple games in a row, and a "free play" mode where you play a single game. Thoroughly recommend to anybody who likes party games.
