positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this game is kind of a numbing experience. In the base game it feels like a lot of the time there is explicitely one intended solution, that you slowly brute force your way towards. A lot of the later levels are just multiple puzzles of "this needs to go here and this over there" bundled as one chamber. The game doesn't iterate on ideas much. It basically teaches you "triangles are good at keeping bridges stable" and that idea gets repackaged over and over again. The solutions to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you asked me to recommend this game, based on my personal tastes I'd say no, but it's not bad at all. It requires thought, and Portal's theme is beautiful and original, with gameplay changes based on the game's story and its setting in Portal 2. It's just not the type of game I enjoy, but if you like these kinds of games, I'd definitely recommend it. However, I'm giving it a negative review because it's based on my experience, and honestly, I got bored pretty quickly. But I know people who…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Physics > Fun Key features (almost) funny expansion of Portal universe, Physics is a bitсh, You can melt traffic in acid pools! Precision freak The core play is building bridges and then sending transport to stress test them. I liked this idea and generally "yay-ed" it. But... bloody hell, the game takes physics too serious. So serious, that fun plummets, just like your architectural behemoth. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3741447826 It is entertaining to watch mini…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally, a job at Bridge Constructor where my catastrophic engineering failures are not just expected, but encouraged! The game is a genius mash-up. You build wobbly death-traps (sorry, "bridges") while GLaDOS sassily comments on your every mistake. The Portal elements aren't just a skin; they are the puzzle. You'll use portals, repulsion gels, and faith to fling test subjects across gaps. The Good: Building a bridge that launches a car through a portal loop is incredibly satisfying.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Blending portal mechanics with structural engineering makes for some genuinely clever puzzle-solving. Guiding your vehicles through Aperture Science test chambers using trusty physics feels satisfying when everything finally clicks. It can get pretty punishing in the later levels, but fans of both franchises will find plenty to enjoy here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love Portal or you are forklift certified, you will probably love this game! It is pretty well done and very challenging at times. GladOS's commentary is also pretty funny throughout.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is finally time to (hopefully) FINISH THIS GAME! Now, I am become BRIDGE, the construction for gaps. Dei is going live later playing Bridge Constructor Portal! Watch it here! youtu.be/7sElKc6KiJ4 #VTuber #ENVTuber #Portal

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bridge constructor portal is a great game, even though it is basically nothing like the classic portal games you still have to think with portals well bridges. Many things makes this game worth it's price like the fun puzzles and even the fact that Ellen Mclain reprises to be GLaDOS once again if you're reading this get portal bridge constructor on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not what you would expect from a bridge builder. That isn't inherently a bad thing, but it is something to be mentioned. It doesn't really test your bridge building and engineering, but rather puzzle solving. If you care about achievements, note that half of the achievements need the dlc to unlock. Apart from this, the game itself is fun if you don't have time for long sessions and with the dlc it took me around 40 hours to complete.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game runs and letme amke a bridge
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its a fun and little funny game i played 23 lvls so far seems to be about 60 it get harder as you go but its fun and test your brain plays well on the steam deck also id recommend this game

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you enjoy both original puzzle games, this is a treat. Also comedy present and good voice acting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Insanity: Doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result. This is Bridge Constructor Portal, where many levels will have you making pixel-perfect adjustments and trying various different solutions to get through with little creative freedom only for nothing to work resulting in spending 30 minutes to an hour of trial-and-error to finally put together a construction that gets the job done; then you realize there's 90 total levels (DLC included). They must've updated the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great addition to the original formula! Also GlaDOS!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weird money grab of a game at 10$ but worthwhile if you like bridge games for sale at 1$. It feels like the developers that made portal abducted some flash game dev and held them at sentry turret point while only feeding them cake. Pretty much just an apeture science themed flash game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately i am not a civil engineer and thus my bridges are not very "resourceful". But if it works, it works.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really love how The Bendies(the little Stickmans in Portal) has its own little fandom! The game is super fun, especially with the new Level Editor update. It can get pretty challenging, but overall, it’s just a simple puzzle game where you build bridges for the bendies to cross without letting them fall into the acid. Definitely recommend it, especially if you’re a Portal fan.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is boring as hell
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Getting 100% was frustrating due to lack of QOL but otherwise ok'ish. approximate amount of time to 100%: 10-15h ~ Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10 (It's a puzzle game so hard to estimate) Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 (level select available) Multiplayer achievements: No Multiplayer. Missable achievements: No. (level select and icons for each completion mark for each level) Grinding Achievements: No. DLC-Only achievements: YES!!!! ( Paid DLC with ~40% new achievements)…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Full of trial-and-error, Bridge Constructor Portal is often more pinball than puzzle. But the theme is well executed and the streamlined engineering can be satisfying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Portal is my favorite game, and I’ve always loved Portal stuff. But this? Yeah, this ain’t it. It feels pretty soulless. The tutorial is basically nonexistent, and it’s generally not what I expected. I struggled more with figuring out how to do anything or realizing you can actually do stuff, rather than solving the actual puzzles. I had high expectations for it unfortunately, they’re all shattered.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun, stupid but fun. its a portal fangame, cant really go wrong here
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good. But the default settings don't work on steam deck. You have to go into the game properties in steamOS and under compatibility, enable 'force use of specific steam tool' and choose Proton Experimental. This is apparently a Linux bug that prevents the game from using controller settings.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought one of those 25-game mystery bundles from Fanatical because I wasn't feeling the other bundles on there, and 20-21 of them were new to my library. There were a few which were old games but with the dlc I was missing, and then I got a spare of Bridge Constructor Portal. Not bad, right!?
unlabelledView post →Pretty fun game, got it on sale for cheap so im not complaining
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the name says it all but i expected something better 5/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A definitely simple bridge construction game, worth checking out if you're in the portal space.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very clever level design provides for crazy player's constructions. I love the use of all mechanics known from the Portal games. Brings a smile to player's face. Hell, sometimes I was laughing like crazy when something unexpected happened due to my failed bridge design. I am planning on getting 'platinum' in this one as it is soo much fun. Oh, and I am definitely checking the DLC once I am done with the main game. Playing on Steam Deck which is very doable with community controller setup.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first glance, when i bought this game i though it was just gonna be a fun silly portal themed game OH BOY WAS I WRONG... First of all some the chambers make your brain hurt REALLY hard (in a good way) seriously one cable or wrongly placed steel and you're entire creation is destroyed and most of the times, to be honest it was MY fault.. So i may have a veeeery minor case of serious brain damage (as Wheatley would say) it doesn't help that GLADoS insults you literally every chance she gets.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just found out the game controllers existed. But I also just found out that Bridge Constructor Portal existed, so I'm a little behind here. BCP is a pain to play on my phone, but I have a new tablet coming that should make it easier for my fat fingers to play.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The good: Building bridges in Aperture Science is pure genius — watching your flimsy structure somehow survive a portal gun surprise is comedy gold. The Bendies (those adorable little forklift drivers) cheering as they cross your masterpiece feels better than therapy. Portal integration is seamless; flinging trucks through dimensions never gets old. Materials feel satisfyingly crunchy, and the 60 chambers deliver escalating "eureka!" moments that make you feel like a caffeinated engineer-god.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →better than portal 3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a meme crossover w/ portal. the physics is super janky here. the available material is kinda "weird": you gotta work w/ hydraulic suspension instead of rigid I-beam. and there're annoyingly too few anchor to support the bridge. that's make the bridge wobble too much in an unpredictable way. so you have to fine-tuning the bridge quite a lot, but the UI/UX is totally unfriendly for this task. hard pass, especially if you love bridge-building genre or physics simulation in general
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you've played and enjoyed the Portal duology, this is gonna be an amazing time for you. Plus, who doesn't like building bridges? As someone who ticks both those boxes, man... I gotta tell you, this is awesome. First of all, the Portal theme wrapped around every bit of the game is incredible. You can tell that a beautiful amount of passion went into this, as if Valve themselves were the ones to develop this. The references right in your face - like the turrets, cubes, portals (obviously);…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like bridge construction games, it's for you, but otherwise, save your money
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game and like someone said "makes you think harder than portal 1 and 2" Also runs great on my built in graphics with and i3 on High settings!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i do agree many of the later levels rely excessively on fine tuning for an hour your bridge so that the angles change in an ever so slightly imperceptible way allowing the vehicles to be slung in an angle that requires 7 decimals of precision in order to clear the level but for the most part worth it for such a cheap price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →“Portal physics + my terrible engineering = disaster every time. My bridges are art… abstract art. 🎨🛠️😂”
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By the logic that sub-series are allowed to count as their own thing, would "numbered Portal game developed by Valve" count as its own sub-series from stuff like Bridge Constructor Portal and other Aperture spin-offs?
unlabelledView post →played and beat it on xbox and boy was it fun. portal just never misses. 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun bridge builder up until around level 40 where the game starts making increasingly ridiculous demands in terms of your time and investment, wasting up to an hour or so of your time making you iterate on a bridge, and not in the fun way where you're still figuring the puzzle out. Instead, you'll be sitting there trying out increasingly stupid support strut/cable combinations to figure out how to make the bridge ju-u-ust stable and rigid enough to get the job done. Also, the convoy physics…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are much better bridge building games, This is misses the QoL improvments of other games. Glados gives it a bit of charme but after chapters two I was even more bored than after the first one. Huge Portal fan but this is plane and boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yet another fun little game that adds to the Portal series. No lore expansion in this one, just some more puzzles with a slightly more unique take than the other games. Enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best in the whole series. I had a blast playing through this game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very entertaining game. Some of the riddles were really difficult to figure out and I couldn't do all of them without help tbh. But really good riddles and there is the regular portal humor. So i'd recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They somehow made bridge constructing both easy and fun. It's super simple. There is only one type of beam and one type of cable to build with. And it shows all the stresses nicely. I am on level 44 now of 60, I think. Glados doesn't yap too much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, but underwhelming as a game in the Portal series. The puzzles really did have me thinking, with precise and realistic physics. I got it on sale for $2.99 CAD, and I think that's a really good deal. Do recommend on sale.
