After he and his wife are murdered, marine Ray Garrison is resurrected by a team of scientists. Enhanced with nanotechnology, he becomes a superhuman, biotech killing machine—'Bloodshot'. As Ray first trains with fellow super-soldiers, he cannot recall anything from his former life. But when his memories flood back and he remembers the man that killed both him and his wife, he breaks out of the facility to get… From TMDB

But editorial thought their most popular character should be in it, so I should sneak him into a supporting role. Ok, got it. Done. Wrote the treatment. 3/x

unlabelledView post →And we thought that Vin Diesel movie was going to be the most embarrassing thing associated with BLOODSHOT.
unlabelledView post →There are a lot of movies that don’t exist, but no movie does not exist more than Bloodshot, the Vin Diesel starring start of the Valiant Comics Cinematic Universe released the first weekend of the pandemic.
unlabelledView post →Second movie was Bloodshot with Vin Diesel 100% the last movie I saw with my work crew at my old movie theater management job as it was the last meeting we planned for the Covid shutdown(they chose it????) I left maybe 30 minutes in. Never saw half them people after that either lol

Facts: Trans people deserve to exist. Trans people don't have an agenda beyond that. There are no influencers driving people to be trans.

unlabelledView post →Thinking about how Vin Diesel played Bloodshot in a movie and trying to read those in his voice and a little comic voice for the little guy
unlabelledView post →Going to watch Bloodshot. Not sure there is any hope for this film but I shall see
unlabelledView post →I'm rewatching the Bloodshot movie tonight, with added context since I've now read all his ongoings and miniseries. And they were goddamned cowards for not using Bloodsquirt!
unlabelledView post →The 2012 Valiant reboot was genuinely excellent for about five years until it got bought out by DMG Entertainment (the company that crapped out the Bloodshot movie in 2020). Immediate recommend even with that caveat.
unlabelledView post →This makes the Vin Diesel film the Second Worst Bloodshot Thing now!
unlabelledView post →Every so often I am reminded there's a Bloodshot movie and it's like a memory gets unlocked
unlabelledView post →Did you know Valiant Comics tried to have their own MCU and it lasted for one movie because of rights issues and releasing it the weekend COVID started shutting down theaters? Well here's Bloodshot with Graham (@EddieMcstriplin). marvelousdeath.podbean.com/e/bloodshot-...

unlabelledView post →The "Vin Diesel is the Grenade Man" meme is from Bloodshot, a completely forgotten movie that came out right as covid was popping off in the US
unlabelledView post →I had forgotten about Bloodshot but yeah Steel is one of my go to examples of a REALLY bad bad comic book movie.
unlabelledView post →The Bloodshot movie that I can only assume launched the Valiant Cinematic Universe and took the world by storm.
unlabelledView post →I did get some Sony money from some movie options when that was a potential thing. Like $20k in total, which is not a lot, but something. I got a "special thanks" in the credits of the BLOODSHOT movie haha... comics. We birth culture, and then, like all children do, culture shits on us.
unlabelledView post →They never learned from Deathmate or that Bloodshot movie anyway.
unlabelledView post →Bloodshot was a disappointment. I read the comics & it was clear they were trying for a ~Valiant Cinematic Universe~ but it's like a Universal Soldier knockoff 20 years too late. You can tell this was one of Pearce's divorce films just for the paycheck. 🎬 Retro Review & More SF #filmsky
unlabelledView post →Promotional action figure for that Vin Diesel comic book movie from just before the pandemic (BLOODSHOT?).
unlabelledView post →Not just a location where Bloodshot was created in the Valiant comics movie
unlabelledView post →#NowWatching BLOODSHOT (2020). Is this movie secretly... good? A twisty-turny plot and lots of tough guy action. Fun! #MovieSky #ActionSky #VinDiesel
unlabelledView post →I had to sit down and think about the last movie I remember seeing him in and it was Iron Man 3 He was also in Bloodshot as the ultimate protagonist, but I'd completely forgotten because he was basically playing the character as a less memorable version of Aldrich Killian
unlabelledView post →The last movie I saw in theaters before COVID hit was Bloodshot. heh
unlabelledView post →Violet's unsolicited movie opinions 2024 edition: Best movie that came out last year: Challengers Best older movie I watched for the first time last year: Sorcerer (1977) Best movie I rewatched last year: The Batman (2022) Worst movie I watched last year: Bloodshot (why did I watch this)
unlabelledView post →A 1hr 45m Bloodshot/Ninjak movie with competent filmmakers and fight coordinators made on $100m could 100% craft something that would blow the doors wide open for Valiant characters to get popular with the mass audience. Alas Bloodshot (2020) probably ruined the chance of that happening
unlabelledView post →I have a bunch of spawn comics and figures! I also have Michael jai Whites signature on a movie poster! I really hope the new movie gets finished and gets a better treatment than Bloodshot got as an upcoming comic movie.

Diesel is known in fandom for his roles as the title characters in The Chronicles of Riddick film franchise and Bloodshot, as well as the title voice in The Iron Giant and Groot in the MCU. #VinDiesel

unlabelledView post →The final scene of Bloodshot being the president of the United States getting handed a note, then dying on live TV like a Neil Breen movie is so audacious it kinda had to kill the series lmao
unlabelledView post →Occasionally I see concept art for the Bloodshot movie and think it's cool techno thriller/cyberpunk. Then I remember that it's not a good movie and Valiant comics rep and are disappointed.
unlabelledView post →Ah the Eternal Champion by Valiant. Great stuff. IMO this should have been the movie they tried BUT at the same time since Bloodshot failed I don't think it would have mattered.

unlabelledView post →Man I never did see Onward...I kept getting recommended it for a brief time afterwards too because three different people told me that it reminded them of Weekend At Bernie's (which is my favorite movie) Never did see that Vin Diesel one that came out in that one March weekend either--Bloodshot?
unlabelledView post →Bloodshot was probably the worst choice to do a movie first. I’d have done Archer & Armstrong, because it’s not really a superhero book, and make it a roadtrip movie. You could even do a loose trilogy each focusing on one of the bros. Shadowman would have been a great choice as well.
unlabelledView post →"We just need a script and then we can sell it to a studio." So... you haven't started. This movie is never coming out dawg. I fully believe characters like The Mask, The Maxx and fucking BLOODSHOT will get another movie/TV show before Spawn at this point.
unlabelledView post →also think the whole reason DMG even bought them was wrested on the idea that they could cash in on CBMs when the trend was super hot still. They wanted to take all those characters and make movies or shows out of them ASAP. When the Bloodshot movie flopped, they sort of just gave up.
unlabelledView post →i'll be honest i'm only glancingly familiar with the comics it's based on (i've definitely read some BLOODSHOT books in the past, but i retain basically no memory of what's in them) but the film is just one of those crackerjack action movies that *works*. beautifully lensed, crisp, dense framing, &c
unlabelledView post →Sucks that Bloodshot was kinda this publisher's one chance to stake its film series on and it just did not land at all. What next, you want to try X-O Manowar? That might work now that Iron Man is a bit removed from pop culture, but you'll still risk that comparison
unlabelledView post →Remember when they made a Bloodshot movie

unlabelledView post →sonic 1 was the SECOND to last movie I saw before the pazuzu started. last one? Bloodshot. remember bloodshot?!?! ...yeah, neither do I
unlabelledView post →Just finished Bloodshot. Loved it! Kinda stupid, but it feels perfect for a film based on a Valiant Comics book. I used to get bundles of Valiant books from the dollar store as a kid, they felt like I was reading bootleg Image books. Hard to recommend unless you like goofy action
unlabelledView post →Bloodshot is a movie without character development. It's kinda wild.
unlabelledView post →As we approach the fourth anniversary(!!!) of Covid, I am reminded that the last thing I did before all the stay-at-home restrictions started was see the Vin Diesel movie BLOODSHOT in IMAX, a film that I am no longer sure ever actually existed.

unlabelledView post →The spiffy new Bloodshot action figure arrived this weekend. It looks much nicer than the Vin Diesel as Bloodshot movie action figure (which I didn't buy). Comes with interchangeable hands, a t-shirt, and a cool mini comic. I just wish he'd come with a base or at least a hole in one of his feet for a base. Currently he looks nice on the bookshelf but he is leaning against the books to stay upright. #bloodshot #valiant #comics #ActionFigures
