unlabelledView post →Guillermo Del Toro’s BLADE II (movie fucking rules) was released on this day in 2002 #filmsky
unlabelledView post →For the one millionth time I would like to state that no, it is actually not easy to make a BLADE movie, otherwise there would be more than two movies in the history of cinema like BLADE and BLADE II. It's not surprising that Marvel couldn't do it, only that they recognized it and pulled the plug.
unlabelledView post →Blade II is a movie about killing white people and has the all-time record for including the Mos Def/Massive Attack song "I against I" in a badasses walking montage sequence. Yet Citizen Vigilante was banned
unlabelledView post →What is one of the best “you don’t know who you’re messing with” scenes in movie history? IMO… this scene from ‘Blade II’ 🖤
unlabelledView post →I'm a huge fan of Marvel movies, like, off the top of my head: Blade, Blade II, Blade Trinity, a fourth Blade movie I made up, not the one with Mahershala Ali; uh, the Blade TV show, um..... Swamp Thing.....
unlabelledView post →Tonight's film Blade II (2002)
unlabelledView post →Halloween Movie-a-thon Day 7 Blade (1998) and Blade II
unlabelledView post →Varese Sarabande are releasing two new Club titles on Friday and, based on the clues, they seem to be Mark Isham's BLADE and Marco Beltrami's BLADE II. I haven't seen the first film since 1998 but Beltrami's score is great so I will probably pick them both up.
unlabelledView post →yeah, but Blade II is more a del Toro movie than a Blade sequel. I'd have loved a second movie with this specific magic and energy and vive
unlabelledView post →Blade II is a perfect film. No notes just perfect.
unlabelledView post →Having watched BLADE because all you people told me for some reason it was good, I am skipping over BLADE II because who gives a shit, but I am absolutely watching BLADE:TRINITY because are you kidding, no way am I going to pass up a movie with Ryan Reynolds, Patton Oswalt and Natasha Lyonne
unlabelledView post →Blade II kicks ass because it is a Guillermo del Toro movie about Blade
unlabelledView post →also jesus you're telling me Bourne Identity came out the same year as Equilibrium, Changing Lanes, Phone Booth, Minority Report, Dog Soldiers, Blade II, Catch Me If You Can, AND The Sum of All Fears? why did ANYONE like this movie?
unlabelledView post →Listening to the BLADE II commentary and man, Goyer was determined to get that "human blood bags" scene in one of these movies. Wonder if had they ever made a third movie he would have finally got to implement it but that never happened so we'll never know.
unlabelledView post →Yep, it got progressively less and less so over each movie. I will defend Blade II lightly but it loses so much of the audacious edge of what made 1 great. "Motha fucka are you outta your damn mind??"
unlabelledView post →Blade II understands that the perfect sequel premise is “hero forced to team up with enemies from previous movie”. even if it’s not the same characters here, it still fucking hits so hard. also lol the villains of this movie are double vampires. they bite vampires and turn them into double vampires
unlabelledView post →Guillermo del Toro talking film, hope and being yourself at the Beyond Fest screening of Hellboy 1-2 and Blade II last night. The man is a treasure
unlabelledView post →Blade II is really just a fantastically fun film.
unlabelledView post →Revisited BLADE II, helmed by a young Guillermo Del Toro. This movie has cool ideas (a super-vamp forces a truce between Daywalker & vampire nation), and GDT’s curiosity cabinet vibe is already on display. On the minus side, the fight scenes are weaker than part 1, and Blade doesn’t swagger as hard.
unlabelledView post →Favorite movie where Wesley Snipes is front-and-center? Demolition Man. (Only because I'm trying to play fair and NOT mention Blade II.) Favorite movie *with* Wesley Snipes? Dolemite Is My Name.
unlabelledView post →Have to work in a bit, but first time for a movie! Today's randomly selected movie is... Blade II, 2002
unlabelledView post →I had a piece of the Blade rights (complicated story, I own the character "Scud" from Blade II) and I can't help but wonder now if my insistence that Blade's real name be "Dave Walker" in any new Blade movie may have been a part of the hold up. No way to know for sure, though.
unlabelledView post →"I promise you'll be dead by dawn." Blade, EVIL DEAD II fan and as BLADE II established, totally down for smoking a bowl. Best Marvel movie hero.
unlabelledView post →The movie that basically launched the MCU. Not enough credit is given to what a solid movie it is. Blade II - not so much... Blade:Trinity...that was the shit! And love the nod he got in the Deadpool/Wolverine movie...all back to the back. (Don't get me started on Deadpool-isms.)

unlabelledView post →Harry Knowles gets credit for the worst film review of all time with Blade II but his review of Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones might be the worst writing of all time.
unlabelledView post →What is your favorite movie, and why is it Blade II?
unlabelledView post →Oscar Isaac his equal, doing the difficult job of making me hate his guts. Art direction / production design obviously lovely. You see so much of this film in his earlier work, in itself worth a second viewing. (Luke Goss in “Blade II,” the omnipresent cogwork, this time in the shed, etc.)
unlabelledView post →23. Blade II Seriously how the fuck had Disney failed to make a Blade movie for so long! It's fucking Blade! I swear some motherfuckers are always trying to iceskate uphill. Good fun, you get to see a guy kill a ton of vampires in extremely cool ways.
unlabelledView post →BLADE II is just as good as the first one but in different ways. This film has a lot more going on and more interesting action sequences, all with that Guillermo Del Toro charm to it. And even though it’s overtly a Del Toro film, it also still feels in line with what BLADE is. Lots of fun #FilmSky
unlabelledView post →Scud (better known as Darryl from The Walking Dead) is watching The Powerpuff Girls while building weapons for the titular half-vampire in Blade II Oddly, the Powerpuff Girls pops up several times throughout the running time of this R-rated comic book movie… 9/? 🎥
unlabelledView post →Just watched Blade II. I didn't love it as much as the first movie but Ron Perlman and Norman Reedus' scenes were A+ for me.

unlabelledView post →Had fun with BLADE II, the film that allowed me to decide, once and for all, that I prefer crusty, withered vampires to sexy vampires.

unlabelledView post →2001-2005 But we all know I'm just going to watch LotR over and over again. Maybe Spider-Man 1/2 or Blade II sometimes. Or Master and Commander. That seems like a good desert island movie. And of course Agent Cody Banks 2.
unlabelledView post →Currently Watching: #85 Blade II When ya want to watch a del Toro movie but also want something mindless.
unlabelledView post →A big reason that I love the work of Guillermo Del Toro is that he even when he'd don't genre...even something like BLADE II; a sequel to a low budget superhero movie based on a comic from the 70s; Del Toro always treats it as ART. He is an ARTIST. And no real artist would ever fux with this shit.

unlabelledView post →Unpopular opinion mais pour moi Blade 》 Blade II (alors que dans le 2 y Donnie Yen), rien que pour la scène d’intro au club et pour le côté brut sans chichi du film là où le 2 je le trouve plus maniériste
unlabelledView post →The way that the white people in Blade II are explicitly coded as Nazis as well as Hapsburgs is something movie criticism has failed to acknowledge…
unlabelledView post →Name your favourite: 1. Vampire movie 2. Werewolf movie 3. Zombie movie 4. Monster movie 5. Haunted house movie 1. Blade II 2. (I don’t like werewolves 😬) 3. Dead Snow 4. The Thing 5. 1408 (a hotel is like a big house, right?)
unlabelledView post →Blade II - A better science fiction movie than the first but not sure if it's a better action movie. A really fun time though, I forgot Norman Reedus was in this and blows up in a shower of blood.
