53 of 53 · most liked firstI've played the game now for about two days, and unfortunately it left me with the impression that it is extremely unfinished and only superficially complex. The entire game basically revolves around fighting the same enemy over and over again. The enemy itself doesn't really change — its HP, defense, and attack simply scale as you increase the difficulty. You kill it, collect gear, craft food for fights, combine item rarities into higher ones, and use upgrade stones to increase and change…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit torn on whether to recommend or not but leaning towards not recommending in its current state and to wait for some improvements. I'll probably keep playing but I'm a sucker for idlers. Pros 1. Price is fine. 2. Seems technically polished so far and runs well - if you happen to not have smooth mouse movement, try clicking Pause in the bottom left and changing graphics settings 3. The core components of a RuneScape-like idler are there - gathering and processing skills, combat, gear,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is fun. But it really isn't a true idle game. Both Combat and Crafting do not continue when you quit the game the way Gathering does. This shouldn't have Idle in the title when it isn't really an Idle game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You can finish the game in 9-10 Hours because theres no endless enemy scaling or achievements, getting all 99s would extend it past that but its pointless because of how item drops work so the game is not worth the money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty chill experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel rather cheated. This game advertises itself as an idle game (it's even in the name), but when your character is out fighting you have to manually click to activate auto food every time, and you also have to manually loot every time?

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waited 6 hours for the release! Also played the demo for 8 hours day before release and got hooked! Love the Grind and hoping to grind for the long haul. If you like melvor Idle its very similar but got its own feel to it, I love the combat screen with the claimable loot drop inventory. Excited to see how the game further develops as I progress. 9.8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fairly basic, but fun for what it is. Unfortunately Melvor has really defined the standard, and it's been out 5 years now... so it's pretty hard to keep up. But this definitely has potential. Here's some feedback: 1. The XP drops (that then flies over to your level bar XP label) - a toggle setting would be great. I'd be happy just with the little popup. 2. When in a crafting page, it would be nice to see how much of that item you already have 3. Combat - double click to leave should be a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Heya folks, here's a short featuring an indie game called Between Adventures Idle. This one was a request from the dev/pub, and admittedly idle games aren't something that I typically play, but my motto is that I'll try any game at least once. #betweenadventuresidle #indiegames

unlabelledView post →I really love idle games, and Between Adventures IDLE has been a lot of fun so far! I really enjoy the upgrade system, the grind, and having something to work toward. It’s the kind of game that’s easy to check in on and keeps me busy without feeling like I have nothing to do. As a demo player, though, I really wish we could get back the ability to buy objects from the store and refresh the available items. Having more control over the shop would make progression feel even more satisfying. I’d…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun so far! I’m not too far into the game yet, but I’ve been enjoying it. The dev is also really active and has already pushed out 5 patches, which is awesome to see. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cute. Melvor is better but the combat in this is more enjoyable
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is lacking. There's no variety in monsters to be killed, it's all the same goblin. Weapon choice doesn't matter. Stats don't seem to matter as long as the core ones are going up. There's a quest system of sorts.. But pretty quickly it devolves into being 'kill x amount of monsters in x area' and the area is always 2 stages ahead of where you are. It would be so easy to add some complexity to the game by making it have you make certain items. Speaking of.. Most of the items you can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is actually fun. I had a lot of fun building the character to high level and leveling up all the activities. It's in early access, so still a lot of stuff is being worked on (the dev team released one update per day since I bought it, so they are very active and implement community ideas quickly). All in all, don't expect a finish game, but I'm happy I give my money to the team. I'll come back to it later, once a more thorough endgame exists, but as it is, still fun to spend a few…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are too many quality of life and balancing issue to count at the moment and I find it strange because it's stuff you would find if you just played your own game for just a few minutes. If you crave the experience of double clicking on two different icons to 'quickly' escape combat or find mismatched item descriptions (there's no insta heal and yet the food insists that it works like that) and you have the patience to wait for updates then go for it. For now it's a refund for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As it stands currently, this feels like a short paid melvor clone. Currently theres only two system you need to "finish" the game. Combat gives gold, weapons, armor, tools and enchanting stones, you never need to craft or gather, combat is way more viable for both income and drops. The second system is arcane school and heal. As soon as you get some max health and constituion in your skill tree, you will never need to eat or use potions again. Its not a bad game, but for what it currently is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was surprised with how smooth and fun the game is. I play a lot of idle games such as Melvor, Rocky, Miky Way, etc. and this one is a good addition. There is enough content in the game to grind it, but not as much as in Melvor Idle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little idle game with a lot of potential. Similar to Melvor Idle. I am looking forward to seeing how this game improves.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the most addicting idles I've ever played
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still early access obviously, but I am enjoying it so far. It's pretty straightforward.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great idler that you can set and leave to go do other things or spend some time planning out your next moves to unlock all the levels. Especially good if you like resource management and crafting type games. I found it really satisfying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like it. combat looks pretty cool compared to other similar games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, interesting mechanics. Combat seems to easy, still dont have any skills fully leveled but beat every mob.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Im really enjoying the game so far, though it is still lacking some features the devs for the game are very friendly and open to player opinion and wants. I look forward to the game's release and completion. Its your typical idle clicker like Melvor, but it has the added bonus of MUSIC which I found was lacking in Melvor. Overall, I would not consider this game to be ground breaking and a whole "new spin" to the genre, but it is cute, I love the art style, the music choice, and I appreciate…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the offline mode only for gather materials, for craft the game must turn on.. man.. i hope they add crafting, cooking, and alchemy to offline mode too, it takes 5hours to craft material
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has potential, but buyer beware that since there is not enough acts being in EA, you end up overgearing the mobs relatively quickly to where new gear and gold doesn't matter. Only special variants don't die in 1-shot until mega overgeared so I don't care about healing or new gear, which trivializes the need to play more for me. I have a decent amount of hours, but most of it was just AFK waiting for stuff to level and inventory to fill up with gear. I look forward to more updates,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Between Adventures Idle uses the exact same system as nearly every other dashboard idler in the last ten years. Introduce the character to a half dozen systems and have them sit there and babysit the time alotment. It gives you about half a dozen gathering type tasks, and half a dozen crafting type tasks, and only allows you to perform one of each. There's little actual gameplay involved, all you do is manage which gathering and crafting taks you prioritize so you can unlock the next teir of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy it so far! Pretty chill, cute art and nice music!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good. I wish the skill levels were uncapped. Also, there doesn't appear to be a reason to pick between the three combat types.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really confusing game, hard to understand anything thats going on and no information really to be found on how to complete simple actions. Not reccomended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not really intresting, game loop is boring and the item management is tedius.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little time waster. Dropped an eternal staff first act4 playthrough, have been functionally immortal ever since. Can't wait to see what else is coming.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the visual combat. It would be great when dropping items to whatever tab inventory you have opened versus open the tab selected and manually placing it into open inventory square, if you don't do that where ever the original item came from stays back to the original inventory tab. Overall the game devs have been frequently retuning their game which gives much prospect. Frequent updates. Waiting for the other acts to open up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →with the latest ascension update, you wont be done within 10-20 hours anymore. i will try a fresh save.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really nice game with much potential. If you like Melvor Idle, this game is for you. I love the fact that devs work very hard, releasing QoL and balance updates almost every day. They stay in touch with the game community and react to all the players' suggestions. That means A LOT to me as a player!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fairly basic idle battler with offline reward system, I've been enjoying it so far and the devs seem to update it a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember, this game is in Early-Access! I've been enjoying this game so far and happy to see how active the dev-team has been since [early-access] release with all the patches and balancing. Hopefully we'll see more content, patches and balancing in the future!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game has been super fun I am three days in and at 47% progression. I can see the potential of this idler and the deves seem to be working super hard to make it an amazing game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →really good game just to kill time I would recommend it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, this is way too good for an early access game. Even in its current state, it totally hooked me—and I’m not even a fan of this genre. Can't wait to see how much better it gets with future updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite everything it is a good base for a game, but let it cook a few months. Extremely poorly balanced as of now, some skills will rush to 99 in a manner of minutes, other skills takes days, combat feels good at first but then you start hitting for 4x their HP and it becomes irrelevant to keep up food and potions. Which makes fishing and cooking irrelevant. and healing pots are 3x better and easy to get early. Smithing stops giving new recipies past level 15 for gear, but tools goes to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →was bad then the dev keep improving
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Between Adventures IDLE takes the familiar satisfaction of watching numbers steadily climb and gives it the structure of a traditional fantasy RPG. Developed by Loop Forge and published by Rogue Duck Interactive, the game is designed around continuous character progression, allowing players to remain involved when they want while still accomplishing something during periods of inactivity. Rather than relying entirely on menus and statistics, it uses colorful pixel-art characters, environments,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: After playing for a bit longer I can't really recommend the game. For the price it's fine, and if asked "did you get your money's worth" I'd say a very mediocre "sure"... but the game just isn't that much fun in its current state. Combat is hilariously simple and not very fun. Once you start you just cruise through to the very end with no difficulty or input at all really. The only thing you have to do is keep equipping the equipment drops to make your character stronger... and those…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've waited for this game to fully release for a few weeks, similar to Melvor/Runescape-idles, but with a nice pixel art style. Progress is much slower than other games like it (I left the game overnight to mine coal, in 12 hours i got to level 38 mining). Usually, games like this take around an hour or less to get to level 10 in a skill, this game seems slower. Great game to stick on in the background, and I enjoy that I'm able to do two skills at once e.g woodcutting and crafting. However, I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A refreshing alternative for taskbar hero
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little chill idle game. Eager for more features like online, guilds, etc.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So after initially recommending this game, I cannot anymore. They changed the inventory sort button so that it sorts the entire inventory at once, nuking any sorting system you have in place. First time it happened, I could deal with it - but after misclicking a second time, I'm honestly done with it. As many others have suggested, there is only superficial complexity to this Melvors IDLE clone. It's fun, you can get some decent playtime out of it, but most of it will be idle. I played maybe…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Waited a few months and had the opportunity to follow the development closely too. Aaaaaand.... After about 130 hours of play tests and demos, I can say that this Early Access release is much different from what it used to be! In a positive way! I really like vision that the developers had with the game and I hope the game continues to grow nicely. If you're looking for a game that you can play at your own pace, without METAs, pressure, deadlines and FOMO, then this game is for you! Give the…
