11 of 11 · most liked firstI remember playing a game called Battle Engine Aquila and it had fantastic amounts of foliage (for 2003 I think it was) and I asked Glenn Corpes how the fuck he did that. He said he just drew tree sprites in the distance, and only as you got closer they turned into real 3D trees...

unlabelledView post →Finally got my crystal OG Xbox connected. Always amazes me that it's aged so well graphically, even running in 720p on a 15" LCD. Also the fact that there's never been another MechAssault game since that generation is a travesty. Gunmetal and Battle Engine Aquila were also top notch.
