Batman & Robin
Batman and his sidekick Robin attempt to the foil the sinister schemes of a deranged set of new villains, most notably the melancholy Mr. Freeze, who wants to make Gotham City into an arctic region, and the sultry Poison Ivy, a botanical femme fatale. As the Dynamic Duo contend with these bad guys, a third hero, Batgirl, joins the ranks of the city's crime-fighters. From TMDB

Ends with him alluding to an underground cult--same group behind Hush. Film 4: Batman & Robin: The Court of Owls.

unlabelledView post →CinemaScore also gave these scores: Catwoman: B The Crow (2024): B- Madame Web: C+ Batman & Robin: C+ Morbius: C+ Fantastic Four (2015): C- Borderlands: D+ They seem really generous with their scoring

He later told us the film was so bad it made him see things differently. He'd been contemplating suicide. Claimed we saved him.

unlabelledView post →I see BATMAN & ROBIN has finally reached the HALLOWEEN III threshold, where reevaluating a maligned movie and saying it’s underrated finally cascades into wildly hyperbolic acclaim.
unlabelledView post →Ok. Batman Forever introduced Bat Nipples. Two guys. Nipples on full display. In 1997 I was 13. Huge crush on the girl from Clueless. So imagine my excitement when I found out that Batman & Robin was coming out. It had even BIGGER more PROMINANT Bat nipples. *AND* it cast Alicia Silverstone as Bat Girl!!! Batman had Bat Nipples. Robin had Bat Nipples. Batgirl had.......WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE NIPPLES??? I'M 13 IN PUBERTY, AND I FULLY EXPECT TO SEE CONSISTANTCY IN MY BATMAN MOVIES WHEN…

unlabelledView post →"Cultural rejection" is an odd term to use for movies that were huge hits (both BATMAN '89 & FOREVER broke the opening weekend record at the box office) - aside from BATMAN & ROBIN, which still opened huge (in spite of internet backlash) but fell like a rock because it's just not a very good movie.

unlabelledView post →Batman & Robin is fun when the villains are on screen, but it drags like hell everywhere else. Dawn of Justice is less a movie and more a bunch of trailers in a trenchcoat with a Batman vs. Superman fight at the end
unlabelledView post →I'm 20 minutes into The Beekeeper and so far Jason Statham is on pace to have more 'bee'-related lines of dialogue than Arnold Schwartzenegger had 'ice'-related lines playing Dr. Freeze in Batman & Robin. Only this movie is taking itself seriously, which makes it even funnier.

unlabelledView post →Also Makkari and Druig are so cute together! But anyways Dark Phoenix (2019) is my favorite X-Men movie (I actively hate Logan) and I have a soft spot for Batman & Robin (1997), so maybe I'm not allowed to have superhero movie opinions.

unlabelledView post →I think that's Batman Forever. Batman & Robin is the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger as a very punny Mr. Freeze. It's arguably one of the best movies ever made. >!Arguable in the sense that the statement is likely to cause an argument not that there is an argument to defend the statement.!<
