Unit variation is pretty standard but the game only has one faction so it feels samey. But it reeeally needs some AAA polish to not feel like like a second rate Warcraft/AoE knockoff. Building placement is extremely basic and locked to a grid with no rotation. Unit commands are more limited than Age of Empires 1. The UI is also abysmal. Basically go play Stronghold, Starcraft, Warcraft, Grey Goo, Age of Empires 2, Dawn of War, literally any other RTS. TLDR - Game bad.

For a very small development team I give this 5 stars they have done 7 patches in 3 weeks and continue to improve the game and listen to the community!! Kudos to the developers and loyal players.
