Snake Eyes, 8mm, Gone in 60 Seconds, Captain Corelli's Mandolin, Windtalkers, Ghost Rider, Family Man, Weather Man, Wicker Man, Bangkok Dangerous. But then he nailed it, Stan, with National Treasure 2, the greatest movie of all time!"

However, she didn't really…

If you watched it and got any enjoyment out of it, I need to hear your reasons, I genuinely want to know how that’s possible. #filmsky #moviesky

In any case, this is watchable but utterly forgettable. Nic Cage sleepwalks through his performance (so we get the Left Behind Cage vs Wicker Man Cage) while everyone else was okay, I guess. There's nothing original here and the only noteworthy element is it's a movie with one of the lowest opening weekends to debut at #1 ($7.78 million). 2.5/5

(This is a remake of Bangkok Dangerous back in 1999. While the 2006 version of The Wicker Man - another remake starring Nicolas Cage - is worse, at least it was fun.)

unlabelledView post →I was taught four rules... The Pang Brothers remake their 2000 Asian film for the American audience with mixed results. Starring Nic Cage, film follows Cage's hit-man to Bangkok where he is to complete a number of hits. He tells us via narration that he has a set of rules that he follows so as to survive in the "business". He then promptly breaks his own codes and his life comes under threat. That's pretty much it as regards plotting. The Pang's bring much visual style to the picture, and show…
