You must safely guide Bob, who is suffering from narcolepsy, to his bed in this intriguing dream of surrealism. Have a good night's sleep. Sweet dreams. 초현실주의의 꿈 속에서, 잘자요.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short, weird, and oddly relaxing Back to Bed is basically you playing as Subob, dragging apples, bridges, and random objects around the map so sleepwalking Bob doesn’t casually walk off a rooftop. The whole game has this Salvador Dalí-style dream vibe where stairs float in the air and logic doesn’t always behave the way you expect. The puzzles aren’t super hard, but figuring out the right placement so Bob safely shuffles to his bed feels satisfying without being stressful. It’s more chill…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is a surreal puzzle game where you have to guide sleepwalking Bob back to his bed through a series of surreal dream worlds. You do this by placing obstacles and using the environment to guide him to bed without letting him fall or be woken up. There are 30 levels to the game, although they repeat with an extra step in Nightmare Mode. Playing through the levels in normal mode was generally pretty easy, although there were a couple of trickier levels mixed in. The levels only reset…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is one of those logic-puzzle games that can't really be compared to anything else, so in one word - it's pretty much original. Now of course that's not necessarily a good thing, but it's certainly commandable. The gameplay itself is super simple, but enjoyable without being punishing. Additionally the game also features an unusual surreal visual style reminiscent to the stairway related works of Dutch artist Maurits Cornelis Escher, while using themes from the paintings of Salvador…

Overall Rating - Painfully Bad ★☆☆☆☆ First Impressions I've seen Back to Bed (BTB) in my library multiple times, knowing it was some kind of puzzle game, but never deciding I wanted to try it. Having tried a handful of games from my most popular genres, I chose to install this title to find out what's going on in this…

The puzzles are simple at first but get surprisingly clever once the mechanics start stacking together. Controlling Bob through these surreal environments feels relaxing and slightly unsettling at the same time. It’s short, but charming enough to leave a good impression by the end.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Guys, help out, my wife said if there are 300 thumbs up and 50 awards, then she will buy me a new PC and a case of beer is NOT a SCAM!!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The aesthetics are nice and the mechanics are clear and work. But the puzzles soon become more about carrying out the solution, not finding it, and carrying out means executing a series of actions in the correct sequence and timing. I just don't like that kind of puzzle. It doesn't help that pausing dims the level, brings up a sub-menu, and doesn't let you look around. If I could pause the game and look around, charting my actions, I might have played longer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah... OK. This is a puzzle game. The graphics are good. The music is right. Not really a story here, just a simple anecdote. No bugs or crashes. Now, the game is very casual. Most puzzles are easy and there are just a few head-scratchers. The main game is composed of 30 levels and there are another 30 that are just harder versions of the same thing. It includes cards and achievements and is pretty cheap, especially on sale. You DO need a controller to play. Not a long game, but an enjoyable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really know how to rate this game tbh. Back to bed is a really well done game with a nice idea where you have to bring a sleepwalker named Bob back to bed. I think the atmosphere of the game is really great and I can see how much effort has been put into the game. Unfortunately, I find the game much too short and not as challenging as it should be for a puzzle game.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's interesting to play Back to Bed after having played Figment - the main elements of the future game are already there, but Back to Bed feels almost like a proof of concept instead of a fully fleshed game. It's short, the puzzles are mostly on the easy side, but sometimes mechanically difficult to perform due to the somewhat poor controls, and you can see the seeds of the graphical style that would stick, with the dreamscapes and isometric perspective. I don't know, I beat it in less than…

unlabelledView post →Summary Back to Bed is a short puzzle game about helping a narcoleptic called "Bob" get to his bed. The game uses 2 objects for its levels. These being apples and fish. Achievement hunting Honestly pretty easy in most aspects, I just can't bother completing this. Pros/cons Pros -The aesthetic I guess? Cons -Very clunky controls -More about timing than actual puzzles -Incredibly short (30 fairly unfun levels followed by a slightly harder version of them) Opinion I honestly did…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was great! I didn't have any problems while playing, I love the artstyle and gameplay, and I love how there was chess pieces flying around! The game is short, but it is cheap, so it's worth the price. 8.7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is a game that brilliantly simulates the perplexing experience of controlling a sleepwalking character, making you question whether you're actually playing a puzzle game or just participating in an elaborate dream about geometric sheep.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant Concept for a Puzzle game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dropped it because instead of the puzzles being interesting and/or challening, they're mostly annoying as they are often about you being fast enough in rearranging the obstacles instead of having to THINK about placement. I dunno if my expectations here are wrong, but in a puzzle game i usually expect the emphasis to be on thinking rather than executions, but this game has that backwards. the solutions are usually very very obvious, the point is just for you to be fast in enough in running…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is an imaginative and surreal puzzle game developed and published by Bedtime Digital Games that blurs the line between dream and reality, offering players a strange yet beautiful journey through the sleeping mind. The game follows Bob, a man afflicted by chronic sleepwalking, and his subconscious protector, Subob—a small, dog-like creature with Bob’s face—who must guide him safely back to bed across a series of dreamlike landscapes. The concept is simple but compelling: Bob walks…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was not expecting to enjoy this game. I certainly liked the idea of the puzzle mechanics, which is why I bought it several years ago (probably on sale), but every time since buying it that I've looked at it and considered playing it, it didn't win my interest enough to actually open it. Well, I've just opened it due to random game selection and it turns out, I actually love it. At first, I didn't like it at all. The ambiance is bizarre and uncomfortable, the voiceover is robotic, the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember really liking the looks of this game when it first came out, unfortunately it took me some time to get it and eventually play it. But it surely doesn't disappoint despite being quite a small game in general. The difficulty of the puzzles is for the most part, easy-medium with some difficulty spikes in some levels in the second world. Then there are the nightmare mode worlds which are the same worlds as the main ones but with added goals which levels up the difficulty for almost all…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You might see this as illusion game. If you do, you are wrong. This is just boring puzzle game that you gotta place some obstacles or tools to lead that whatever the guy to the goal. Not many levels to enjoy. Some timing may required. The nightmare levels are just a little more annoying but same levels. The more you play, the more you wish to quit and uninstall.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why I had to uninstall Overall Score: 3/10 What drew me into this game initially was the art style using very obvious references to Spanish artist Salvador Dali as well as other surrealist themes. I was disappointed to find that the game mechanics and narrative did not align with the prominent theme presented. The style was a bit too on the nose for me and the overall game seemed like it was still a work in progress. Although I do applaud the efforts and enjoyed the idea of a puzzle in a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Small, easy, mobile puzzle game. Your goal is to route the guy to the bed so he can sleep while using apples, fish boards and surroundings. Can't really recommend since there is no challenge and it's not that fun of a game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →works on steam deck, game is super small and its simple
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle game with a Salvador Dali theme: you play a little impish dream creature which helps Bob get back to bed. He's a sleepwalker. The environment is great in this game. It's very trippy and yet the puzzles are fun logical puzzles so there's a nice contrast there. I finished the game in 3 hours but I don't mind (not all achievements, just the levels). And the voiceover is the single trippiest weirdest voiceover I've ever encountered. It's great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The graphics of this are stunning. Unfortunately the puzzle mechanic didn't really vibe with my personal tastes, but if you like the look of the trailer, I recommend you give it a shot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game! :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →stylish puzzle game with own vibe
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad one, but not a great one either. Daytime puzzles are okay, you should get pass them with a few retries; nighttime puzzles are annoying, I hate that I have to recollect all the keys if I had Bob fall off even for once. I like the it's Lv5 badge though, I'm using it as my featured badge 🍎🍏
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is a puzzley, tediously boring game. Not recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are clear and comprehensive and the game runs smoothly. I loved the theme and the art design is just beautiful, but the puzzles become very repetitive and more about perfect timing rather than solving the level. After a while, it's uninteresting and the satisfaction of solving levels quickly wanes.

This small but unique indie title takes you on a literal trip into the dream world, where logic takes a backseat, and every step is a challenge. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is a game where you'll be scratching your head over surreal puzzles while guiding a sleepwalking man, making you question if it's a dream or just an elaborate excuse for late-night snacking!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to Bed is not a good puzzle game, it is short; it can be cleared in two hours or so. While the game runs fine, there's no spark to it. The graphics are not special but do the job; they actually borrow from surrealist artists which I suppose is a plus point. The puzzles aren't particularly clever, anyone can work them out. When your character dies he simply lands right back where he started. It's not often that you see a game that takes a decent idea but completely misses the target. If…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Визуально Back to Bed невероятно захватывающая.

Your goal is to use items to guide a person to bed, while also preventing them from coming into contact with dangerous elements in the world. I enjoyed the overall look of the game and the surreal art design. The voiceover is strange, similar to what I've seen in the Rusty Lake series, but it fits the vibe. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Back to bed is an enjoyable isometric puzzle/logic game where you guide Bob to his bed. The game's basic concept is using objects to rotate Bob 45 degrees clockwise to create a path to his bed while avoiding general obstacles. It is a simple game with interesting artwork that I recommend at the asking price but especially on sale (currently for $1.70AUD). My only real criticism is the controls being sluggish and unpredictable. However, the game recommends a gamepad instead of a mouse and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can see what the devs were going for with this game and the aesthetic looks solid but the combination of gameplay and level design is not enjoyable. There are a few levels that do clever things but a large chunk of levels are either too easy or require precise timing that has you wondering what was intended. Most of the game is just picking up and placing down apples which after a while gets very repetitive. The devs do try and change it up with the fish later on but the fish is very…

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
