The writing was consistently funny while also having some really nice heartfelt moments too. Definitely recommend it. Can’t believe it was gonna be erased for a tax write off, fuck David Zaslav.
unlabelledView post →We watched BACK IN ACTION on Netflix because I love the two leads. I think AI wrote this movie. Fun set pieces, terrible dialogue. Every chance they had to do something interesting, they went the obvious way instead. Sad.
unlabelledView post →So yeah, my thoughts on Coyote vs. ACME after having watched it this Tuesday... I had a blast watching it from beginning to end. If given the choice to watch either of the Space Jams, Back in Action or this then Coyote is my pick. It really was a crime that this movie got shelved to begin with.
unlabelledView post →My movie Looney Tunes: Back In Action came out 22 years ago today!! Who here saw it in theaters? And where were the rest of you?? I've put a fresh still on my Renfield Collection site. Custom autographs are available from me upon request! www.renfieldcollection.com/product-page...
unlabelledView post →Another old bit of animation I did on Looney Tunes: Back in Action way back when. Eric Goldberg was so very nice to work with. I honestly don’t remember what else I did on this movie other than a lot of (paid) OT 😂❤️. Go see the new movie, The Day the Earth Blew Up! support traditional animation!
unlabelledView post →You need to read this Roger Ebert review of Looney Tunes: Back in Action. It is never mentioned when people do lists of the best of Roger, but I think it should be, if only for the incredible tangent he goes on. I think the movie is underrated as well. www.rogerebert.com/reviews/loon...

unlabelledView post →nasty rotoscoping and early CG on this guy from “Looney Tunes Back in Action,” which is A Bad Movie.
unlabelledView post →Name a movie that flopped at the box office but is actually great. #FilmSky Back In Action deserves the reappraisal and cult following Space Jam got and I will hear nothing to the contrary
unlabelledView post →Very excited for Coyote vs Acme. Back when I was 14, the box office failure of Looney Tunes: Back in Action - a Looney Tunes movie directed by Joe Dante and featuring cameos by Roger Corman, Dick Miller, and Ro-Man - was something I took very personally.
unlabelledView post →I don't need Coyote Vs. Acme to be Roger Rabbit (it won't be, no movie can be Roger Rabbit) I just need it to be Looney Tunes Back In Action.
unlabelledView post →How it feels being the only person who genuinely likes the movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
unlabelledView post →With a new Looney Tunes movie out next week, this is a perfect time to announce a 4K upgrade of BACK IN ACTION, one of the greatest movies of all time! We’re patiently waiting, WB.
unlabelledView post →My attempt at the Looney Tunes Back in Action style with the two stars of the movie, Bugs and Daffy. I’d say I did a fairly good job at it. #looneytunes #looneytunesbackinaction #warnerbros
unlabelledView post →Coyote vs. ACME is a well worthy major improvement over the last Space Jam movie with enough creative control Dave Green, James Gunn and Samy Burch to showcase why WB made a grave mistake for shelving it. One of the best hybrid #LooneyTunes movies on its own terms with Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
unlabelledView post →Every Looney Tunes hybrid film has a different way for the Tunes and humans to co-exist. Space Jam: A cartoon world in the center of Earth Back in Action: They’re cartoon actors SJ2: A cartoon world in the Warner Bros server Coyote vs Acme: Humans & Tunes simply co-exist lol
unlabelledView post →Don't forget tomorrow's BACK IN ACTION day, everyone! Hope you've got your Netflix subscriptions renewed! Are you all ready to meet... FINANCE GUY?
unlabelledView post →It's all fake I tell you, just a cover up for the real conspiracy: (Looney Tunes Back in Action was a good movie.)
unlabelledView post →THAT WAS GENUINELY AMAZING. WHAT THE FUCK. IT WAS LIKE 2000s MOVIE SLOP. CAT IN THE HAT LIVE ACTION LOONEY TUNES BACK IN ACTION SLOP HOLY FUCK.
unlabelledView post →Also in case I haven't said it enough, this movie is proof that Space Jam, Space Jam 2, and that fuckin Disney+ Chip and Dale movie that everyone has mercifully forgotten are all ZERO OUT OF TEN DOGSHIT MOVIES. This movie felt so Roger Rabbit. It's perfect. (Back in Action is good)
unlabelledView post →The MUPPETS work together. The Looney Tunes are eternally at odds. Why Back in Action is the superior LT movie, despite threatening Jenna Elfman's character with rape
unlabelledView post →129. Looney Tunes: Back in Action (movie, 2003) One of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The Tunes are all in-character, with Daffy's oscillation between his Clampett and Jones iterations being done masterfully. The jokes-per-minute is insane. Bugs and Daffy are so gay in this.
unlabelledView post →Gonna be watching The Day the Earth Blew Up tonight!! 💥💥💥 Which makes it the first Looney Tunes film I’ll ever see in theatres! XD I wasn’t born when Space Jam released, i missed out on Back in Action, there was a pandemic going on when Space Jam 2 released. But now…. 👀
unlabelledView post →Back in Action is the worst movie ever because it feels like it was created in a lab specifically to make me feel old.
unlabelledView post →‘COYOTE VS. ACME’ has officially surpassed ‘LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION’ at the domestic box office! 🏆 The film has now earned $22.5M domestically, setting a new theatrical milestone for the franchise. #CoyoteVsAcme #LooneyTunes
unlabelledView post →Out of theater reaction. #CoyotevsACME excels. Definitely the best #LooneyTunes hybrid movie to date on par with Joe Dante’s Back in Action. Dave Green knew the assignment. If you love the Tunes, this movie is for you. Longer non-spoiler review coming out soon.
unlabelledView post →the most watched Netflix movie this year was something called 'Back in Action'. Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz. Some 46 million accounts watched it per my math. Call it 60 million people. I had never heard of it until last week. Compare to F1 movie, which wold 27m tickets and is culturally resonant
unlabelledView post →If any theaters near you are playing The Day the Earth Blew Up, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go out and see it. It’s a wonderful and fun film that’s easily the best Looney Tunes movie, and I really love Back in Action! And it’s an actual Looney Tunes movie playing in theaters! Animated completely in 2D!!
unlabelledView post →LOONEY TUNES: DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP - a solid B+ in my book. Not top-tier, but a consistently engaging little comedy with lots of great cartoon gags. I'd compare it favorably to the BACK IN ACTION movie, which I also enjoyed.
unlabelledView post →If you press play on Netflix’s new Jamie Foxx / Cameron Diaz film ‘Back in Action’ at anytime day or night it lines up perfectly to be absolutely fucking shit.
unlabelledView post →despite rooting for this one I was skeptical of it being much better than that live action tom and jerry film but it’s giving Looney Tunes: Back In Action and I’m very here for it
unlabelledView post →We’ve got a huge exclusive on @talksimpsonspod.bsky.social Patreon today: FIVE AND A HALF HOURS about Looney Tunes: Back in Action! We’re joined by @thadwell.bsky.social for a look at a good film that was a bad time for Bugs & Daffy’s careers! www.patreon.com/posts/what-c...
unlabelledView post →😍😍😍 EVIE IS BACK IN ACTION!!! I’m so happy I could cry! I can’t wait for the new Mummy movie.
unlabelledView post →The Day the Earth Blew Up is one of the funniest films I've seen at theaters in YEARS! It was so refreshing as well to see a new 2D animated film on the big screen This was hands down the best Looney Tunes movie by a LONG shot! (Sorry Back in Action)
unlabelledView post →Just got back from watching Coyote vs. Acme with my dad and brother. It was absolutely worth the wait and hype. My entire auditorium was laughing their asses off. It might honestly be the second-best Looney Tunes film after Looney Tunes: Back in Action.
unlabelledView post →#LooneyTunes Back in Action is the sole exception next to the Sonic film franchise for achieving live action animated hybrid movies. Space Jam and New Legacy do not work as Looney Tunes movies when you factor in plot, pacing and other elements.
unlabelledView post →Looney Tunes: Back in Action from @thejoedante.bsky.social is the best hybrid movie from the #LooneyTunes franchise. It takes the Roger Rabbit influence and screwball comedy to its full creative potential. Even with its flaws, its a fun romp with Bugs, Daffy, D.J. Drake and Kate. 9/10 #LooneyTunes
unlabelledView post →Happy 20th Anniversary to Looney Tunes Back In Action! A movie that is a fan favourite for Looney Tunes fans! 🎉❤️
unlabelledView post →That Netflix movie 'Back in Action' looks like someone asked AI to create a mash-up of 'True Lies', 'Mr & Mrs Smith' and 'Nobody' with Bob Odenkirk - but I didn't realise someone had already done that...
unlabelledView post →Me and the boys from the /ceg/ discord server (cartoon expansion general) watched Coyote Vs. Acme last night. I put this movie ten billion times above Space Jam 2 and a few points below Back In Action. I rarely recommend new movies so when I say its worth admission? WATCH IT. Fuck David Zaslav.
unlabelledView post →This movie is about to become my biggest Looney Tunes movie hyper fixation since the OG Space Jam and Back In Action! Heck, even The Day The Earth Blew Up!
unlabelledView post →Here’s my Looney Tunes Movie ranking from Best to Worst: 1. Coyote vs. Acme 2. The Day the Earth Blew Up 3. Looney Tunes: Back in Action 4. Space Jam 5. Space Jam: A New Legacy
unlabelledView post →16.) Despite the structural issues brought onto the film by its infamously troubled production history, Looney Tunes: Back in Action still holds up as a great film with the Termite Terrace gang (and no, not just in comparison to Space Jam).
unlabelledView post →Speaking as a guy with a Newshoundsiverse, I have so many thoughts on this movie in comparison to similar movies ("Roger Rabbit," "Looney Tunes: Back in Action", the 2021 "Tom and Jerry" movie, *ahem* "Cool World"), but I don't want to spoil things. Just see it. JUST SEE IT.
unlabelledView post →I have the strongest feeling that Coyote vs ACME is gonna be my biggest Looney Tunes movie hyper fixation ever!☺️❤️💕 More than Space Jam (1996) and Back In Action even!
unlabelledView post →Sorry Back In Action, you had a good run, but it’s time to retire your title for the best live action Looney Tunes movie
unlabelledView post →Ngl, CvA sounds like a film up @drummerfromfife.bsky.social's alley. Heck as someone who likes both Back in Action and the Looney Tunes Show, and from what I've heard, it sounds like something up my alley as well.
unlabelledView post →Had another movie night were I got to show Looney Tunes: Back in Action. I knew it was a great movie but watching it again after so long, legit is probably one of my top movies I love it so much

unlabelledView post →Looney Tunes Back in Action is a guilty pleasure for me (underrated movie tbh) so if this movie is close to that or better I'm pretty sure I will enjoy it, I always loved Wile E. Coyote & the Road Runner
unlabelledView post →Shit I think Looney Tunes: Back in Action is better than Space Jam But I have heard that this is the best live action Looney Tunes movie
unlabelledView post →I know right?! I had the biggest grin on my face finally seeing my boy, Wile E on the big screen!! WB were idiots for trying to hide that film from us. Coyote vs. ACME was awesome! Even better than Back In Action, in my opinion
unlabelledView post →#Letterboxd #LetterboxdFriday #LastFourWatched #FilmSky 🅱️📽️ Back in Action (2025) Flight Risk (2025) Siege (1983) Danger: Diabolik (1968)
unlabelledView post →I'm happy Coyote V Acme finally got out there and got its flowers. Other than the hit-or-miss cel-shaded 3D animation, I still can't believe how good it was generally. I don't think I've seen a Looney Tunes film reach this kind of peak since Back In Action.
unlabelledView post →fuck yeah but also more people should immediately watch Looney Tunes Back in Action aka Joe Dante's third best movie
unlabelledView post →Looney Tunes: Back in Action This movie is so much worse now that I'm older oh my god
unlabelledView post →Watched new Cameron Díaz movie, Back in Action. At least we'll always have Charlie's Angels 😬
