unlabelledView post →I'm really just bored and irritated by how this test started off as a culture war barometer and turned into the history questions from Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? *This is a test for classroom teachers in Oklahoma*
unlabelledView post →Too easy and very annoying. Switching hosts, hosts clapping, the long introductions, too much time between screens and questions. Really a waste of money. Can't believe it was $30.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have refunded it, here are the reasons why: (To be fair, the fact that I had high expectations for trivia-game with junior school questions is funny, but still, as a fan of the original show and the trivias itself it seemed interesting to me.) 1)The question bank seems too small without the DLC. I played the game for an hour and still had a few question repeats. 2)MAIN REASON - The hosts and especially THE CHILDREN are terribly annoying. I want to smash my screen with a large sledgehammer…

unlabelledView post →That show "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" is rigged. They change the rules on what counts as a correct answer based on whether they like the contestant. I answered "No, I'm not" and got marked wrong. But my 5th grade opponent answered "No, I'm not" and won.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The absolulte unforgivable cardinal sin of this game is that it takes TOO DAMN LONG to get to the next question!!! We are not watching a tv show where they need to pad it for ad sales, this is a game so LET US PLAY IT
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's very fun. Thanks Caseoh
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →#microfic #agereg Watching "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader" with Mommy that way if I win at anything þey know exactly what info to remove from my brain.
unlabelledView post →The game is very well rendered, and a good-faith online adaptation of the TV game show. That being said, a game of 5th Grader to its core is 11 academic questions padded with cutscenes that make the game take longer than it should. It was enjoyable at first, but got repetitive very quickly. Expensive for the minimal content the game provides, and not very replayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like 20 years ago we had Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? and it's like they just said, "No, we need to go lower."

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So... I'm on a quest to get 100% achievements in every Trivia game on Steam. This is one of my last games, so I've played a LOT of trivia games at this point. This game is... ok? The trivia itself is fine, although on the easy side. But everything else is just bad; the hosts and kids are annoying as anything, and you can't shut them up. There is SO MUCH TALKING between questions... it takes 8-10 minutes to answer 11 questions solo. Please, for the love of god, just let me answer…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game itself isn't too bad when playing for the first time, but it gets repetitive very quickly. The question pool is noticeably small and half of the time spent playing is just skipping annoying dialogue. The difficulty of the questions are also unbalanced - sometimes the game is extremely easy and sometimes it is nonsensically difficult. I also came across a question that had a blatantly wrong "correct" answer: that is, "which number, when added to itself five times, equals 26?" First of…

unlabelledView post →Not fun as it looks on the CaseOh streams. I would say watching him raging on Joaquin is the fun of this game. (yeah I realised this on my first exam mode and immediately went for a refund, just sayin')
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda echoing what a lot of the other reviews are saying, this isn't bad by any means it just sure isn't worth 30 bucks. Recommending on a veeeery deep sale, if you pay more than like 10 bucks for this you're paying too much. With the absolute abundance of trivia games both free and not out now, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader really doesn't stand out all that much other than the fact that a lot of the questions are, by nature, easy. I streamed this on Twitch and it was actually pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →some of the questions tbf aren’t truly fit for the respective grades, p.s. dont make the classmates sell caseoh or else they end up in the bad list like halima, jaden or jaquan.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The fact that the question " "true or false: "Flown" is the past verb of fly" or something like thatis TRUE is total ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, its "flew" DO NOT BUY THE GAME
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →3Y - 5 = 31. The game thinks the answer is 9.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 i am not smarter than a 5th grader
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish I could just answer the damn questions without having to hear 30 whole seconds of NPC chatter with annoying AI voices in between each question. I got the game for $3 and I still feel scammed.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →100% designed for kids. So parents will like this. Buy this for your younger siblings, not for yourself.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" Me: American 5th grader? Cuz let's be honest.
unlabelledView post →I know I should have guessed this by the title, but it really wasn’t hard at all, like none of the questions were. I bought this game on sale to play with my wife, who is a PhD in microbiology, and while it shouldn’t have surprised me that this game was gonna be way too easy for her, I had still expected way more of a challenge since even my dumb ass could answer everything. The only questions that really proved a bit of a challenge were the book trivia ones, since you have to have actually…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It should genuinely be illegal to charge 30 dollars base price for this game If you're planning to play with friends, don't, everyone can just cheat off of player 1's question because everyone gets the same question and you have to literally select it as many times as there is people The game is also bloated with filler that even skipping by will take longer than actually answering the question If you lose even once you have to restart all the way back with there only being like 7 actual…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you left a negative review, you are not smarter than a 5th grader.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not going to lie. I had high hopes for this game when it was first announced on Steam. I was a huge fan of Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? when I was in college. It was a very good game show and I enjoyed seeing contestants struggle immensely to claim that they were in fact smarter than a 5th grader to win a million dollars. Overall, the gameplay is relatively solid for a trivia game and somewhat follows the format of the actual TV show, but it does take a few liberties. For…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was hoping for a straightforward trivia game, but this has way too much filler. Having to stop between questions and rounds to do meet and greet sessions with the virtual people in the game is just strange and irritating. What am I supposed to get out of knowing that little Joey Bot likes to jump rope? Remove about 90% of the filler chat, and this would be a decent trivia game. I am requesting a refund and would not recommend buying this game. Note that is saying a lot - I bought it on a 90%…

unlabelledView post →i read the comments here after watching several streamers play this and i thought people were being a bit harsh. i spent half of the time skipping transitions or WAITING to skip the transitions, got an answer correct and was told i was wrong ( ten 10 dollar bills equaling 1 100 dollar bill) this game has (or should i say HAD) so much potential and it has gone to waste. seriously do no buy unless you plan on playing for less than two hours and getting your money back, not worth the hassle
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was not smarter than a fifth grader but in my defense I am american and I was dropped as a baby. Do with this as you will.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game saved my life. I am 38. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and adopted our son together. They are now both 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I found myself lost and miserable. I was self destructive. I got so mad one day from everything spiraling out of my control that I punched some concrete in a moment of overwhelming emotion. That caused me to break my 5th metacarpal in my right hand... my working hand... my games hand.. the hand that I held and…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun for the first hour but once you get familiar with the mechanics and layout of the game do you realize how boring and backwards the game really is. The questions are in their own right interesting and actually fun to think over but you have to level up to earn new topics and trivia questions which is the most neurotic and backwards way of thinking to force on your players when you realize the leveling system is the most boring grind they could have created! To reach max…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This could've just been a fun trivia game, but noooo, instead we get so much unnecessary nonsense. Why are there two hosts? Why do the kids tell you facts about themselves? Why do we have to watch all the stage transitions? It's so long winded, makes for a very unfun playing experience.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Question asked "What was the 14th U.S. state?". It IS Vermont, the game acknowledged that Vermont was the 14th state but on the map it placed the marker on New Hampshire and I got it "wrong". I even googled to make sure I wasn't taking crazy pills and confirmed that the game marked New Hampshire even after saying Vermont was correct.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game drags on way too much. Even answering questions takes forever with all the slow animations and talking. The voice acting is terrible, and some questions focus heavily on certain cultural or historical topics in a way that feels forced and politically loaded. It breaks the flow and makes the game less enjoyable. Not worth your time.
