unlabelledView post →I wrote about this a little when I reviewed AMBULANCE on letterboxd but theres an annoying affectation a bunch of critics and movie buffs have where they pretend to like one or two non-TRANSFORMERS michael bay movies as a counterintuitive populist nod and: I hate it. His movies suck ass
unlabelledView post →Larry Cohen’s film Ambulance is the only movie about a cartoonist that accurately depicts what being a cartoonist is like, primarily spending most of your day wandering around the city you live in annoying people, drinking bad milk and throwing up and trying to avoid hospitals
unlabelledView post →28 YEARS LATER is the most thrillingly experimental use of digital cameras and aesthetics on a big movie since AMBULANCE; it’s all drones, crazy rigs, extreme lenses, anywhere Boyle wants to put the camera he does. Not an awards guy but wish movies like this could get recognized

Stan Lee er med Point Blank (1998) - Hjelpes for noe ræl. Ekstremt voldelig. Det spilles en julesang uten at det er jul.

unlabelledView post →#Filmsky #MovieChallenge Film 6: Rewatch of Ambulance. Michael Bay of course knows how to film an action scene, or in this case an hour and a half car chase but he throws a bit of character work in here.Jake Gyllenhaal plays psycho well supported ably by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza González 7/10
