positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alice Escaped! is a stylish action / adventure Metroidvania with adorable chibi characters in a fantasy setting heavily reminiscent of Lewis Carroll’s Wonderland. The most notable characters of the famous English novel are brought back to life by Alice Escaped! as allies or enemies. During your adventures, you’ll get to meet cute chibi versions of The White Rabbit, The Dodo, The Hatter, and obviously The Cheshire Cat, The Queen of Hearts and even Alice herself. Usada and Kotora are two…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Initial impressions are positive. + Cute anime girls being cute + Controls are responsive + Good map for navigating My Dual Sense works natively and has correct button prompts but had to disable Steam Input in the controller properties before launching or it won't work at all. If your controller isn't working this should be the first thing you try. Works fine on the Steam Deck although the default controller setup for me was a keyboard/mouse template. Simply swapped the template to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not enough to be worth the full price. There are other metrovanias that are similar price that offer way more content. Story is alright, cute girls automatically misunderstanding each other and resorting to violence and then everyone becomes friends afterwards. The game had some neat concept that had me excited, In your skill tree there is an ability that lets you move and attack while in cut scenes and a skill that increases positive dialog chances sadly it was never really explored and only…

A Metroidvania action game with a rich, exhilarating battle system all wrapped up in cuteness! Nyanco's Review : + Chasing Alice: A Stylish Adventure Through Wonderland! ヽ(´• ω •`)、 Intro Alice Escaped! is a 2D anime action adventure game developed by illuCalab, the creators of A Magical High School Girl. The game takes you on a journey through the imaginative…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall very impressed with illuCallab.'s latest title! Controls and physics are great, combat is really fun and feels a lot less "like a dojin game" than stuff like rabi-ribi or nyaruko did. Not a dig against those games, but Alice Escaped!'s battles feel much more polished than other dojin metroidvanias. Has a really wonderful visual style, I love the chromatic aberration at the sides of the screen and Cuphead x kawaii-style enemy designs. The saturation and contrast feels a tiny bit off in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm just an old dude who has very little time to play a game because of work and that's why this game is perfect for me. It was short (I got all endings within 16 hours) but keep you engaged with its simple and fun combat. And yes, I like cute anime.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A combination of Ori and RabiRibi. However, when compared with Ori, it's too boring, when compared with RabiRibi, it's too easy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a cute Alice in Wonderland themed combat-centric metroidvania with a skill tree, multiple endings, air juggles, and all sorts of combos. While I think this is a genuinely fun game, I can only recommend this on a deep sale. It just doesn't have enough content to justify the price unfortunately. I also have a few issues with the game on top of that: -You can't pause. Opening your menu does not pause the action nor is there any way to do so leading to some mildly frustrating situations. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game but a little too expensive without discount considering the game is rather short. Alice Escaped! is a cute metroidvania game where you explore the wonderland as Usada and Kotora. The game feels very well made overall. It has a flashy combat system, multiple easily missed hidden secrets and interesting story with multiple endings. If you like metroidvania games, this one will definitely impress you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →uuuoooohhhhh Alice Day😭
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Alice Escaped!" is a crazy genre of its own! Above all it's an adventure in which the gameplay is closer to a metroidvania platformer. Explore here, explore there, explore further away.. There is no end to this madness as you uncover more and more secrets in this wonderland while your and your friend search for a mysterious girl named Alice. Extremely atmospheric with a high dose of humor! It features a deep and meticulous battle system, tailored at your preferences! Pick your skills from the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, this is more of a Mixed type of rating, but, I've decided to give it a Yes since I still had fun with this game despite its flaws. So, shall we start the review? Alice Escaped! is a 2D Hack-n-Slash Metroidvania, based on the popular Alice in Wonderland story, but with anime girls! The game focuses a double-character system that lets you combo your attacks with a character that relies on melee weaponry, and another character that is a range specialist. Doing combos on this game is a lot…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This works on the steam deck but you are advised to set GPU to 600Hz and TDP limit to 8 in order to avoid wasting battery on power you don't need. Anyway, this metroidvania is virtually identical to Nyaruru fishy fight, it even has the same problems and mistakes. There are just 4 differences. The first one is the story, the second one is that the graphics are significantly better for this game than nyaruru fishy fight, the third one is that this has combat arenas that you have to repeat…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall I would say there wasn't much to make a good experience. For the positives the art is cute and the music is very good. The combat is whelmingly okay sans a couple of annoying encounters. It's woke and lgbt. Exactly 2 and a half characters were genuinely likable. As for the negatives, the story involves repeating the same linear levels several times and refighting the same bosses anywhere from 2-10 times depending on how efficient your playthrough is. There are unskippable encounters…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you look for a fierche, mean, high precision input requiring game with a huge game wold, well, this ain't it. However If you want a relatively linear platformer with not too complicated combat mechanics and a rather easy going atmosphere, this might be a game for you. Artwork is nice, the music is fitting and the fights are not too easy, not too difficult. The game has 5 endings, getting them all is a bit of work and honestly left me with more questions than answers. But playing it was fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game with amazing OST (but slightly confusing story progression)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bonk + Bang simulator.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really great game in every way, even better than I expected. I was expecting a cute little metroidvania but it also has a really well designed "collect all the endings" structure that keeps you invested even after beating the game multiple times. Each loop you learn new skills to make progression faster and by the end you can blitz through a loop in a couple minutes. It never feels like a slog. The artwork is great, the music is great, the combat mechanics are very fun and balanced,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The recent video game that I have had the pleasure of indulging in boasts an exceptional trifecta of musical finesse, engaging gameplay, and a narrative that is both humorous and adorable. The music, a harmonious symphony of sound and rhythm, is masterfully crafted to elevate the overall gaming experience to new heights. The gameplay is intuitive, challenging, and rife with opportunities to demonstrate one's dexterity and cunning. The story, a charming and whimsical tale that unfurls before the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very decent Moevania game i could say: + World is beautiful + Musics are relaxing + Cute characters and visual + Good control ( Im using Ps4 controller ) Beside : - Encounter sometime is very hard, even on normal difficult ( You got in a very small room, alot of enemy could fall on your head and hit very hard after for example ) - Gun feels somewhat frustrating to use, mostly of the time i uses the hammer tho
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an okay metroidvania to be honest. Enjoyable despite some of its kinks. I initially enjoyed the game, but at some points trying to get the true ending, the game just puts you into very unfair situations that made my thoughts on this game more lukewarm. "Death match" areas where you have to survive through waves of enemies, typically puts you in small rooms which most of the time you'll probably are going to get hit by spawning enemies. Some of them puts you in areas where there's no…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game just released today and its a bit buggy lol Fun so far, but movement is a bit frustrating
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A "cute" platformer game with a bunch of silly characters. It's tagged "Metroidvania" but it's difficult to justify. Sure: there is some back and forth and you obtain a few keys or item that allow you to progress further but it's just not the same. Graphics are cute. Music is light. Combat is basic. At 6 hours I guess I've reached the start of "dark story" or whatever that was supposed to make the game good. Yawm. The Youtuber who has recommended the game because of that alleged darkness is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You love beat 'm up and metroidvania? This game is for you, with some extra cuteness, bird, eggs and paws to your face. The goods: +Gameplay A beat 'm up metroidvania is the best kind of metroidvania imo, it feel so good doing combo. The control in this game is tight. +The soundtracks and the sound effects The soundtracks are so catchy they would give you eargasm. And the sound effects are just chef-kiss. Actually i think both give you all. +Characters designs IMO this game have the 2nd best…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun Game Amazing Replayability Factor Different endings Pretty hard in some battles Different modes The art is so cute and love all the characters and little quests
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so cute and have multiple endings with replay value. A cute metroidvania type game that will keep you hooked with the colors and the simple dialogue and the vivid colors. another must play. I enjoyed it alot!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i really love this game, if anyone is thinking buying this game or not, please buy it. I really hope the developers can make more games like this. I love it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cute, fun, and fairly good Wonderland and bunny-themed Metroidvania beat 'em up. Take the protagonists of Rabi-Ribi and the action combat of Guacamelee and throw them into Alice's world. The good: Cute. Bunnies. Two playable characters, the hammer-wielding Usada who can perform a wide variety of melee attacks on both ground and air, and the gun-user Kotora who acts as ranged support. Both characters can be switched on the fly and have separate health and special skill meters. Skill Tree…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s great fun, Moevania encapsulates the experience. Launch was rough, few bugs with control layouts and controller support. They were immediately fixed by the developer, there was 3-4 hotfixes in quick succession and it is now seamless. I am able to use a bluetooth xbox one controller and it just works through steam controller support.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, I forgive the devs and changed my rating to thumbs up cause it's way too cute. But if you gonna play normal or hardcore, just know that there is no reliable health systems, elite mobs or even normal mob's hurts like hell and can even one hit you, making all your heart bars feel like a scam and the boss's patterns cooldown are way too damn fast and unforgiving. If you chase the endings, you will be forced to repeated content if you don't have guides. The difference from casual to normal is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →genuinely fun platformer getting other endings besides the bad one seems complicated tho kinda like hollow knight
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a fun metroidvania with very cute and charming graphics and characters. The setting and the music are very lively. The world and the characters are its own interpretation of Alice in Wonderland, which is very cool to see how it was made here. The game isn't long but offer a good lenght, with simple but fun gameplay, allowing you to upgrade your weapons, increase your damage, health and also get some interesting useful tools. The fact that you control two characters is also a cool thing here,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Recommend Highly
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I initially dropped this because the intro was kinda slow and disorienting, but I went back to it and had a blast once I got about 5 skills unlocked and started to figure out my way around the map. Another entry in what I describe as a "BunnyLike Search Action" game similar to: Rabi-Ribi, Bunny Must Die, Dust an Elysian Tail, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Tevi. "Beating" the game is not that hard to do, it just takes some time to learn the way around. The real challenge is in learning to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely wonderful! This game was adorable and fun. I highly recommend it. Plenty was casual fun, but there was definitely a level of skill needed in certain areas, and there was a hard mode I didn't dare touch! The combat system was neat too. It offered a lot of options without being too confusing, while still being challenging enough that I am sure someone more skilled than I am could show it off at its full potential.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun lil game, absolutely loved the visuals, interesting enough story, very fun combat. my only gripe is that it got a lil tedious for story reasons i'll reveal in the spoiler basically its a time loop. and if you don't have specific things done before you loop you might have to do an ENTIRE loop just to do ONE thing, looping doesn't take TOO long but still its tedious especially if you're trying to figure something out without a guide, especially as some of the things you need to test…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i like this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, shortish game. Got all 5 endings in 2 days. Still have some quests to complete to see what happens.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun platformer through an anime inspired Alice in Wonderland. Some of the boss fights are tough as nails though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →dose not work for key bord only controler other than that graght game loved it so much
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT THE CAT Alright on a serious note: The game is very charming an absolutely worth what would most likely be like 10 hours of your life. I got every ending, beat every boss, and did every side quest. The only things left are the optional steam achievements like beating bosses with less DR and speedrunning. However I feel the combat system, while fun, is too harsh to enjoy doing so. Enemies have no tell most of the time, the true final boss has a BS middle phase, and in general the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun colorful Metroidvania.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've literally played flash games that play better than this. I thought Nyaruru was awful, but this is even worse lmao
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun, also very cute and silly. Though I recommend playing in casual mode more than normal mode. Also, I would 100% it's achievements, but the combat is pretty hard to master, and a bit awkward too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun gameplay, cute art, and fine story. The game is extremely short though. With a bit under 8 hours I had already finished a 100% save file. If that isnt a hangup for you though its definitely worth giving a chance.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah, another cute metroidvania game with a rabbit protagonist? I'm sold. Gameplay is not too hard to understand, the art is cute of course, and the music fits the theme quite well. That'd be all for what I want.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, short gameplay and time loop look for another ending
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a good enough game with some more annoying flaws than anything else. Story: It revolves around two characters, who were pretty much pulled into the Alice and Wonderland story. That's pretty much it, their goal is to find Alice, but with a twist at the end. Battle System: Being a platformer, it combines the action with a ranged and close ranged character. Each is meant to be used in different situations, with their skills being unlocked from a tree. These points can be found from doing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alice Escaped is a nice short game, that was a joy to play through with the cute art for the characters charming me throughout my time. The story itself isn't that deep and the main difficulty is if you do the achievement for hardcore cheshire cat without guard master, and no cheshire isn't hard the real menace is alice it took me 6 or 7 hours to finally beat alice and her unreasonable third phase where she pulls out a gun with aim bot, yes really. Anyways overall this game was really fun and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →like Ori but this fun and cute
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute game but I really can't understand the way it's supposed to work. Some enemies drop crystals more than once, for no reason. Some stuff leads to nothing. Even though I annihilated all the map, some of the quests decides to not work. The cat dislike me even though I maxed the affection and I can't do his ending. Either I was extremely bugged or I have no idea. I think they were a bit confused
