60 of 147 · most liked firstOn a positive side, If you don't have Airport Madness 3D, I highly recommend it. But be aware that it's not a real simulator. That said, it is very demanding and a lot of fun keeping all the inbound and outbound traffic without crashes. It brings also some slight improvements over its predecessor. On a negative side, if you have Airport Madness 3D, I cannot recommend it. In my humble opinion, Volume 2 should have been a free upgrade to the previous one or, at most with just a small fee for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game as I have played the original Airport Madness 3D. To be honest, it's not more than a map expansion pack for the game, and I wouldn't mind paying for that, but it's not a new game. Further, some of these new maps are fun because they are complex with lots of runways, but only some of them are actually available for tasking aircraft to.... what's the point in having lots of runways if you can't use them!? A fun little game, but not a new game compared to the original, and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →18 months after the release of volume 1 and after doubling the airports in volume one (from 4 to 8), this developer has released volume 2 of Airport Madness 3D. Volume 1 received several enhancements over the 18 months I owned it, and I expect that same to be true for volume 2. There are 8 all new airports and several user interface improvements that have enhanced game play quite a lot. The game itself is still challenging and fun, and has the "just one more try" factor that has kept me up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game does everything it says in the description. This probably doesn't justify it's asking price. If you are keen for an air traffic control simulator, and have a spare $20 and no other games you want to buy, this is probably fine. If not, pick up a much better game. https://youtu.be/F_XV8bU7MBE
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2 is essentially Airport Madness 3D: Volume 1 with a few more things; Airports Aircraft Slight polish & improvements to graphics UI has had an overhaul Stats now log your "Career" progress at each Airport Nothing above really justifies a "New" Volume? It could all have been added to Volume 1 tbh. Now perhaps there is some behind the scenes non-tangible improvements but I honestly doubt it was so extensive a new volume was required. I think the Airports should…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay, but not worth the asking price of £15.49, I paid £13.94 on discount and I still feel its not worth it. A very shallow game of something very complex, that I would only recommend if it was at least half the price. I played for an hour and was bored, no real challange after you figured out the layout of the runway and taxiways.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For my previously semi-unhelpful views on Airport Madness 3D, head here: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197966526680/recommended/445770/ The Madness begins again! A 2nd volume of 8 fantastic airports to play with, crash aircraft and get frustrated over. Then play them again and again and again! Because you're not actually frustrated with the game, but with yourself for failing hard! In the first Volume the original 4 airports that came with Volume 1 were pretty good. As the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It really is just more maps for the existing game at an unfair price.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Aeroplane goes brrrrrrrr ✈️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is not worth 16,99€, not even on sale. Thought there would be more airport managment like passager and fuel, but no, so sadly it will get boring quickly
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't played the first game, so I can't comment on how little it has changed from its first installment, but Airport Madness 3D V2 is a pretty neat game, if you're into hectic time management mechanics. It won't win any prizes for its visuals and it is far from up to standard in terms of technical aspects, but all the same, the gameplay is kind of of addictive. You might want to watch a few videos before purchase though, the screenshots aren't really able to give off the gameplay feel at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this series of games but there is not enough differance from Airport Madness 3D to this version, it feels just like a money grab, it is sad because i exspected more from this dev. Just getting greedy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been a Big Fat Simulations-fan since Airport Madness part 1, so it won't be a surprise to read this positive post. Airport Madness 3D-part two has eight airports in various difficulty levels, starting with Hong Kong (easiest IMHO) to Lukla (very, very, very hard). There have been lots of discussions why this should or should not be a seperate game. Well, i for one feel the gameplay is different. This installment has upgraded the levels of difficulty slightly (never has so much crashed…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am responsible for the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands of people. I will most likely be executed via injection.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonderful game, although I wish there were a bit more options available, like being able to select the active runways and being able to open and close (change) them during the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly despite it being a bit expensive for a game like this, I'd say it's worth it. Anyone who loves aviation should get this. I can play for a few hours and not get bored despite it being repetitive. Wish it had some more features though and was higher quality but it's still amazing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bugs including: Aircraft on the ground holding short suddenly moved and crashed in to other aircrafts like Kamikaze. The game tell me a crash has happened, but I watched the replay over 10 times still couldn't find where the crash happened. Taxing planes may go through each others. The texture of plane are not wery well, and the in-cabin camera is useless with poor quality textures. The zoom of radar can not be changed. The flying route of aircrafts are very strange with sharp turns. It's a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good little ATC game! Very similar to the first one-just more airports but they are better this time round. The game has simple controls and simple mechanics but is difficult to master. Theres a good range of different airports and different planes and you have to monitor the speeds of different aircraft as well to ensure you don't have crashes. Really loved the recent radar update too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played most other games in this series, from the original to the first AM3D, and have always enjoyed them. This game does not disappoint, with some new very enjoyable levels. Lukla in particular is very fun, with it's one way runway. However, there are a few small issues. The main one that at larger airports (O'hare, Toronto, etc) not all runways are avaliable for planes to taxi too. It seems the reason is due to the lack of space. Perhaps, at these airports, the individual runway buttons…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Right now the game is not playable (planes stuck) after the changes made. Kaspersky anti-virus reports malware in the game files.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not the most realistic but an excellent game nevertheless to have fun or to develop attention skills.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely love this game. The graphics are awesome and the gameplay is fantastic. It's has been great watching the progress of this game throughout the years. Thank you Big Fat Simulations.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if only planes could expedite off a taxiway and not the end of the runway
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →anyone else had their progress deleted
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good game fun to play
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game can freeze on occasions, with the planes not moving to the load bays. You only option is to exit the current game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun and chaos mixed together makes a great experience. also pretty realistic on the physics. great overall, highly suggest to others.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game with a game play that flows well. I enjoy the 20 minute time trials and push myself to get more aircraft landings and takeoffs. It is very challenging to do it well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An engaging window into the world of Air Traffic Control
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a long time player of this game. It becomes addictive. If you like strategy and planning it's the right game. Looks easy because it's slow but it's not that easy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game is very nice. you can also commit kaboom
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recently had the pleasure of playing Airport Madness 3D: Volume 2, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with the game. As an aviation enthusiast, I have played many air traffic control simulation games in the past, but this one takes the cake. One thing that stood out to me was the developer's attention to detail. From the realistic runway layouts to the accurately modeled aircraft, it is clear that a lot of time and effort went into creating this game. The graphics are top-notch, and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →plane is good plane graphic quality bad
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly recommended Air Traffic Control SIM. I've logged 85 hours playing it so far, There are two Radar Displays, which you can move, re-size, or remove. One is the Approach/Departure Radar Display, and the other is Ground Radar Display. 8 airports and a lot of modes and challenges. 3 Leaderbaords for 1-Day, 1-Week, and 1-Month high scores. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Morlan's shorts: It doesn't look like the transition to 3D worked well. Have to constantly change camera angle because the planes approach out of view. With few planes it's ok but on hectic times it's rather tiring and I found myself zooming out with the "sky camera" to be able to enjoy it. What threw me off though is the very bland quality of the graphics. You can zoom in and out which is practically useless for managing the planes so it should at least be pretty..alas It looks like a game of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very fun and was exactly what I was looking for. A casual Air Traffic Control game that can be relaxing at level 0 or very intense at level 10. I wish they made a casual flying game like this with easy controls. Anyone can play this game. Lots of fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked World Edition - but the original 3D was hard to manage. This one has the bugs worked out and is SO much fun! Love the new challenges. Great game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best ATC games. Nice airports. And add a menu that you can land planes just on runway(s) --- because its anoying when you have to change runways a lot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is far too expensive, it only has 6 VERY low-quality airports with even worse aircraft. The commands are so unrealistic that I doubt the developers know anything about aviation. It's a shame I spent 3 hours on the game and can't get a refund. Avoid this game at all costs.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Takes all the fun of the 2D versions and throws it out the window. This is a completely boring and more importantly, not remotely fun version of what should've been an awesome experience. As it is, avoid it and go play one of the 2D versions instead. For whatever reason, they just come off as more fun. I honestly, I want to give this a thumbs up but playing it just felt tedious and I really can't place my finger on why the fun factor is missing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Changing this review. I initially was peeved that they took away the setting where you can play at your own pace on the "Move 100" task like you could in the first version (and, yes, I still wish they'd restore that). However, I've learned to live with playing the Continuous mode so that I can still set my pace. The game can be very meditative, and I'm not looking for a challenge. In my humble opinion: Easiest airport if you're learning: Miami. Most interesting airports (once you've got…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →See my full review at http://gamingandfamily.com/game-reviews/airport-madness-3d-vol-1-2-review/ Vol. 2 is even better than Vol. 1, mainly because of the better selection of bigger, more challenging airports. Give it a try. You will not regret it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good. Fun to Play. A+A+A+
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too simple. Doesnt worth 19.99
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a true airport madness player at heart, this game continues to blow me away. I want to recomend a sort of airport carrer were you progressively make your own airport.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are a lot of improvements from Volume 1, such as seeing where planes are, the tracks they are going to take to land, etc. but I can't recommend the game because there is a bug that makes it VERY unfair to play. About once in every 4-5 games a plane will refuse to go to a gate and just sit on the runway. All the other planes back up behind it. ALL gates are empty yet planes don't go to the gates, so it's impossible to get a decent score.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! I 100% recommend you buy it if you have not already.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoyed Airport Madness 1 and was surprised when they brought out the second one I wish they just added the Airports to the first one nothing has changed graphically or what I can make out so far. If you enjoyed the first one then you will enjoy this one but it is a bit pricey I recommend this game I have a feeling that the first one is going to be abandoned.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game and the developer is very responsive, I cant wait for night operations and would love to see a range ring and undockable radars that can be moved to another screen. I also hope that the developer can implement the ability to click on an aircraft in the air radar windows and have its label pop up. This would be ideal for IMC conditions. Great game especailly love SFO its a real challenge, well done to the developer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great time game when you want to "relax" with some exciting plane action at your fave airports!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game - simple at first, but gets complicated with time and volume. It's fun to pilot from the Cockpit POV as well! A nice feature!
