As an aside, Clash: Artifacts Of Chaos (aka Zeno Clash 3, but rebranded due to publisher weirdness) is going real cheap here. It is EXTREMELY good. Like a Chilean surrealist version of the new God Of War games.
unlabelledView post →Missed it the other day - first real gameplay footage of Ace Team's (Zeno Clash, Eternal Cylinder, etc) new 4-player co-op game. I was expecting it to be more like Vermintide but it feels like there's a bit of Outlast Trials and Peak DNA in there too. Good on them for not walking the beaten path.
unlabelledView post →Zeno Clash 1 and 2. They're first person brawler games set in a world that's very Daliesque. They're very rough but the visuals and setting always sat with me store.steampowered.com/app/22200/Ze...

unlabelledView post →Also a huge 90% off Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Latest in the Zeno Clash series, but works great as a standalone game. Like a surrealistic Chilean take on the new God Of War games. An ascetic with a face like a gangrenous toe adopts a weird bird-child hunted by authorities obsessed with dice games.

unlabelledView post →Split Fiction's narrative is nothing special but god DAMN is that entire game just so non-stop jaw-dropping. I kept saying throughout Zeno Clash 2 how ACE Team kinda just kept out-weirding themselves. Hazelight kept out-cooling themselves on this one.
unlabelledView post →does anyone remember that game Zeno Clash?
unlabelledView post →ACE Team, the team behind Zeno Clash, announced a new game a couple days ago. The trailer has me really interested not only because the game looks fun, but because it genuinely seems like technical masterclass.

I expect it to be as weird as the first game but honestly after how the first game ended I have no idea what to expect. I'll be starting at 2pm BST / 9am EDT Catch me when I go live @ www.twitch.tv/olmyra
unlabelledView post →49. Zeno Clash (replay) I just like these kinds of games. Games with a really weird world and concepts you don’t see often. And i also think it's a pretty solid brawler. It’s not perfect but it fully commits to its vision without compromise, resulting in a unique game you wont forget.
unlabelledView post →Picked up Kenshi even though I'm not fond of the aesthetics (reminds me of Zeno Clash which was also too bizarre for me)... This game is absolutely batshit. Got chased around the map by a needy shopkeep, then a hungry mob of 20 people. One of them tried to eat my dog. 10/10
unlabelledView post →I had no idea there was another ZENO CLASH game out. 2023 is saved. I have a little guy that rides on my shoulder, and I've already found a cool S. 10/10

unlabelledView post →Maybe the winner for the most unhinged thing I’ve seen in a game is Zeno Clash 2’s “FPS Challenge” mode that drops you in an arena starting with a bunch of gun pickups. The goal is to kill enemies with attached intense particle emitters fast enough before your FPS counter drops below the threshold.
unlabelledView post →I'll call out Zeno Clash because that's actually an amazing game on all levels, the gameplay was just not for me, but that setting! The creatures, the characters, the world, the vibes, I'll put up with a million dodgy fight tutorials and not-for-me gameplay to experience something like that.
unlabelledView post →I remember liking Cyberpunk 2077's after the overhaul patch, can't remember the feedback exactly but i liked it Very different kind of first-person game but Valbrace in UFO 50 was mechanically really cool. Games that may apply but i haven't played: Zeno Clash 2 Fight Knight Devil Spire Fallen Aces
unlabelledView post →Day 29: Metamoq from Zeno Clash. He's already dead when the game starts, so he serves as your tutorial character in a series of flashbacks. It makes sense in context...about as much as anything makes sense in Zeno Clash, anyway.

unlabelledView post →It is technically a Zeno Clash game if that ups the ante at all, but can be played without any knowledge of the series very easily. May even benefit from that lack due to how much new it brings.
unlabelledView post →Supreme Warrior! Not a great game experience overall, HUGE learning curve, but I appreciate the ambition, and games like it had to crawl so that better games like Zeno Clash could run.
unlabelledView post →I’m drawn to thinking of the game Zeno Clash, where it seems like a fantasy game with animal people until partway through game two where you learn all of Zenozoik is the result of some sort of bioweapon and you’re actually isolated from a really advanced society. Great material.
unlabelledView post →Warmly recommend. Clash: AoC's a cool game. Prequel to the Zeno Clash serie.
unlabelledView post →Jumping back into the world of Zeno Clash with Artefacts of Chaos and remembering that I am terrible at type of game.
unlabelledView post →There's nothing quite like Zeno Clash, the first game is fairly short (5 or so hours), second game is longer (around 10, 11) and Clash: AoC the longest (about 15 i'd say). I hope you will find wonder, disgust and delight in what the lands of Zenozoik has to offer :) (2/2)
unlabelledView post →And this is what the protagonists of the third game look like. Plus some other in-game screenshots. The colour and creativity in the Zeno Clash series is unmatched. Off-putting for some. But I love it. Deserves more attention.
unlabelledView post →Yet ANOTHER game completed, this time ACE TEAM's Zeno Clash! Just... wow, this is one of the most unique games I've ever genuienly played, I love it's combat, it's story, it's artstyle, despite it being jank in alot of ways and short, it's something that I will never forget, Love this game!
unlabelledView post →Z: Zeno Clash I was expecting a weird 7/10 janky first-person punch game. That is exactly what Zeno Clash is. (Though, I will admit it is weirder than I expected. Don't take that from me though. Take it from Father-Mother)
unlabelledView post →Just game recommendations in general, or are you looking for something more specific outside of no nintendo and no cozy games? In any case, Zeno Clash is pretty cool, that's a personal favorite. The crystal project and witchfire are both also a pretty good time.
unlabelledView post →Clash: Artifacts of chaos (90% off, 2.99, 5.48 total) in 2023 my favorite chilean game dev team (creators of the Rock Of Ages series) put out a sequel to a game they had made a decade ago, Zeno Clash, and it is INSANE. a first person action brawler thing in an incredibly weird world. for 3 bucks!
unlabelledView post →Thanks for hanging out everyone! We played and beat our game Z. Game called Zeno Clash! I enjoyed it a lot even if some mechanics were a bit jank. Witn this is officially the end of my A-Z list. It feels really weird but I'll have more collected thoughts later
unlabelledView post →This game in particular is closer to Zeno Clash, weirdly enough. Sorry, but it does actually make sense that an old ass vampire who can teleport and rip people apart with bare hands is going in and mauling everyone, rather than sitting behind cover to reload their revolver.
unlabelledView post →The Riddick games had pretty good first person melee combat, I don't remember if they had a parry, but I certainly don't remember ever using it. Also Zeno Clash is a profoundly weird first person melee game very much worth trying if you're interested in mechanics.
unlabelledView post →Well, you can still get it (I looked it up) -- you might like it. IRC, it's weird as fuck. 😂 Oh, speaking of weird as fuck, have you heard of Zeno Clash? It's a totally bonkers first person melee game with a strange storyline and cool (for its time -- 2009) visuals. You can still get it on Steam.
unlabelledView post →Zeno Clash is 2 bucks on steam today and it’s a weirdly profound game that has a really punk and community background but it’s also about the same level of weird as Hylics
unlabelledView post →Just sat down and played all of Zeno Clash 1 That game still rules, honestly deserves to be recognized up there with half-life
unlabelledView post →I'm torn between Zeno Clash and Enslaved. But I'd probably say Zeno Clash because I've been thinking about the game more lately.
unlabelledView post →It is, I played the demo but never got around playing the full game yet. The developer, ACE Team is from Chile, and they also made Zeno Clash, which is also cool. I think their most well known game is Rock of Ages, though. They often make very unique games, which I really like.
unlabelledView post →it's funny how much the simplest things can really elevate a game. Makes me dream of a big budget Zeno Clash
unlabelledView post →Last thing to comment on from this list is Zeno Clash. You have never played a game like this. The world building is bizarre and imaginative, with concepts that deeply moved me. It's an fps brawler, which is unusual. The narrative style is wildly nonstandard. Good in quality, unique in style.
unlabelledView post →Oddworld obscure?😄 "Any other"? I am too well versed in classic games. We will be here whole day 😄 Since you mentioned Oddworld, game with crazy alien world, here are few with that vibe: -Zeno Clash -Giants: Citizen Kabuto -Sacrifice (from makers of Earthworm Jim)
unlabelledView post →22. Zeno Clash 2. I like to point to this game as a great example of how to make a sequel: Take everything that made the first game good and make it even better. I'm also obsessed with how fucking WEIRD the setting is, while also somehow making perfect sense. A+++ worldbuilding.
unlabelledView post →I feel so sorry for Ace Team that their publisher are idiots. Every time I mention that there's a third Zeno Clash game (under the name Clash: Artifacts of Chaos) I get a dozen people saying they had no idea that was the same series or developer.
unlabelledView post →Moderator @GBMento is back with a new edition of their "Indie Game of the Week" feature on Giant Bomb and this one is all about Zeno Clash 2 by Ace Team! Read on their blog why they still consider it a deeply evocative and unique world. User Blog: www.giantbomb.com/profile/ment...
unlabelledView post →Finally got back to beat Zeno Clash. It's definitely kinda annoying and flawed and I'm definitely going to play 2 and Clash, especially since that 1st game just kinda ends.
unlabelledView post →Zeno Clash potentially? Everything in that game is dirty and dingy and every character looking like they smell of piss It also sorta has a mechanical aspect but not quite as much as Bad Dream Adventure
unlabelledView post →As of today, Zeno Clash (2009) is the 515th best game of all time according to me, directly below Castle Crashers and directly above Potatoman Seeks the Troof. It is part of Tier 22. There are 25 tiers and 592 games in the list #PixelRankings

unlabelledView post →Clash: Artifacts of Chaos A prequel to the Zeno Clash series, this is a third party action game about brawling through a (near) lawless land. Before fights you can challenge your opponents to the Ritual, a dice game that imposes penalties on the loser.
unlabelledView post →Iirc I learned of "Clash: Artifacts of Chaos" first through I believe Stephanie Sterling mentioning it? I snagged Zeno Clash for like $1 on sale. Beyond "it looks weird" and that it's a first person fighting/brawling game, I don't know anything about it.
unlabelledView post →I just wanna play Zeno Clash 1 and 2 first. But man, it's hard getting through that first game without proper controller support. Still tho, I bed I'll dig this when I get around to it
unlabelledView post →I love Zeno Clash #game #zenoclash
unlabelledView post →It took me a moment to realise what the game was... It's Vampire Zeno Clash. And as a Zeno Clash Fan, I am very pleased about this. :P
unlabelledView post →Clash: Artifacts of Chaos ($6.59 AUD) Prequel to the Zeno Clash games, instead of a first person brawler, this one takes cues third person Soulslikes. Before each fight you and your opponent will undergo The Ritual, a dice game with penalties inflicted on the loser. Like nothing else.
unlabelledView post →One cool trait I experienced with #ZenoClash is that it reminded me of the games from the 6th gen that used to hybrid their mechanics with collectatons typical of 3d platformers; the moths, the totems, and the upgrades it for the weapons it gave some retro vibes I enjoyed #gaming #videogames #pcgaming
