Wreck-It Ralph
Directed by Rich Moore
Wreck-It Ralph is the 9-foot-tall, 643-pound villain of an arcade video game named Fix-It Felix Jr., in which the game's titular hero fixes buildings that Ralph destroys. Wanting to prove he can be a good guy and not just a villain, Ralph escapes his game and lands in Hero's Duty, a first-person shooter where he helps the game's hero battle against alien invaders. He later enters Sugar Rush, a kart racing game set… From TMDB

Some find it enjoyable but note it lacks the hook of other Disney movies. [1][2] Several posters express disappointment that a sequel was made. [3][4][5]

Alright, buckle up, because I just saw a movie that completely blew my mind! Seriously, I'm still buzzing! I went in with pretty high hopes, and somehow, it exceeded them. First off, the visuals? Forget what you think you know about animation. This movie is a whole new level. It's like they took every amazing art style you've ever loved and mashed them together in the most perfect way possible. Every single frame is …

Thoroughly enjoyable. 'Wreck-It Ralph' is very good. At the beginning it feels as if it might just be a video game rehash of 'Toy Story'. However, pleasingly, it does its own thing as it gives a positive message and has more than satisfactory humour. I'm never been a proper gamer, at least not in the sphere of games used here, but I still got a load of the little references. I also like how the world is built, it's …

Surely the thematic is great and it is funny to see old pals from several video games but Wreck-it Ralph lacks the hook of most of Disney movies.

Wreck-It Ralph is a great movie with my love for games in there with it. The movie had some great childhood memories of mine, with all the characters from the best games. The graphics are excellent and the voice acting couldn't be better. This movie is great for adults and kids.

Wreck-it Ralph is such a good movie. Really glad they didn't make a sequel to it.
How this was made: an AI model (deepseek-v4-flash) read 34 of the 177 public posts we collected about this film and wrote the summary, likes and dislikes, citing the posts behind each point ([n] opens the post). A second AI pass checked every statement against the posts it cites; anything it could not match was removed, and code removed any statement with quotation marks, numbers that are not in the posts, or unattributed claims about people. positive · AI labelView post →Got Wreck it Ralph on and of course it looks great. But a little dated. Didn’t this movie come out not long ago? Oh, just THIRTEEN YEARS AGO. Great.

neutral · AI labelView post →Thinking about Wreck it Ralph 2 and it was so weird how they put out a ten minute movie where Ralph made a little customizable race course to fix his friend's boredom crisis and then nothing else happened
negative · AI labelView post →It is established in the film Wreck-It Ralph that Clyde hosts a support group for video game villains named Bad-Anon, which is held in the ghosts' base. The room also appears to be used for Zangief's book club in Ralph Breaks the Internet.
neutral · AI labelView post →#23 - Wreck-It Ralph (Wii) I've been interested in this game since the movie came out because like there's so much potential for a video game adaptation of a movie about video game characters. They did not stick the landing. They did not even attempt to jump lol. Go play Matt Hazard instead

neutral · AI labelView post →I just watched "Wreck it Ralph" for the first time, which is actually crazy considering the theme and ... I wasn’t familiar with your game, Ralph. Great movie and super unique for a Disney movie.
positive · AI labelView post →Wreck-it Ralph is such a good movie. Really glad they didn't make a sequel to it.
positive · AI labelView post →Rewatched Wreck-It Ralph and it's still so good. Such a shame it never, ever had a sequel but that's okay, it doesn't need one and is completely fine as a standalone. Just the one film
positive · AI labelView post →In light of the Mario Galaxy Movie jamming all that stuff into a 90 minute flick I feel the need to remind people that when Wreck-It-Ralph came out in 2012 it promoted the heck out of the video game characters it was using only for them to either appear in a single scene or merely cameo in the film.

neutral · AI labelView post →Disney could never do justice to a Wreck It Ralph live action movie because their first instinct would be to cast someone hot. That's all wrong. If they want a Wreck It Ralph type it's gotta some big square Polish bastard from Chicago who plays bass in a hardcore band. A Ralph who knows Malort.

positive · AI labelView post →Wreck it Ralph still makes me sob near the end what a movie
positive · AI labelView post →It was worse than Wreck it Ralph 2 but unlike that film im glad i experienced this one. it was the nadir of lame-ass Hanna barbera. You know the era. Starting in the 70s when they introduced one new scooby clone a week & continuing all thru the 80s.

neutral · AI labelView post →The Emoji Movie sucks and it's one of the worst animated movies ever made for how it's a blatant cash-grab that steals many elements from The Lego Movie, Wreck-It Ralph, and Inside Out, but I think that people should get angry at the North Koreans for the cancellation of Genndy's Popeye movie.

positive · AI labelView post →The first f/o that I've had was probably Fix It Felix from the Disney movie "Wreck It Ralph". He looks and acts SLIGHTLY similar to Lanny from Prep & Landing, so yeah I might have a type?? 😭
neutral · AI labelView post →Wreck it Ralph breaks the internet because it goes against everything seen in the first wreck it Ralph movie
neutral · AI labelView post →I notice some of the best credits sequences pay tribute to what the film was adapting from (Wreck-It Ralph using pixel animation, The Lego Movie using stop motion Lego animation) and act as a fun way to properly conclude the story (Wall-E showing humanity reclaiming the earth)

Yes, I do think Wreck-It Ralph is the far superior film, but I do appreciate where it took Ralph and Vanellope's relationship and I love how it depicted the internet.
