For realsies, though, from the brother who wrote Spice & Wolf comes the dark middle chapter of a non-interactive visual novel trilogy some like-minded people and I literally threw money at a Kickstarter for a while back so it could get localized and put on Steam. Up to this point it has basically been the Anti-Wolf of Wall Street, because this is basically about a gigantic golden boot stomping on young 99%-ers trying to break out of economic inequality on an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A sequel to a wonderful visual novel that, at a glance, appeared to be focused on economics and greed. But there was a humanizing element in episode one, and that humanizing element is made much more prominent in episode two. There are much less long infodumps about various qualities and characteristics of the stock market, and more scenes of interactions between characters who are all human and display strengths and weaknesses. The main character is now a traumatized 20-year-old, four years…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only thing I regret about this is I meow have to wait for Episode.03.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I started reading this game sometime last year before the translation came out, after having read the English version of episode 1. Unfortunately, even though I can read Japanese pretty well, I got frustrated at not being able to speedread so here I am one year later, blazing through the English version. Good stuff to Sekai Project for listening to fans and fixing the names. Other than that, Hasekura's writing is entertaining as always.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much better then the first episode by fixing the music and background issues from the first. Really offputting to deal with the changes in character and location names. The story is still disjointed and gives a sour feeling due to a lack of conflict until the very end of the story (like the first) plauges this visual novel. Not worth the time investment. Feels like a incomplete product.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WEE ep.1 give me an arrogant, prideful, brash, smart, ambitious, and talented protagonist. Along the way, he is getting more humbled, but not so much. He met a friend, big sister-like existence, mentor, and a 'family'. He thinks that he need to do something for his new 'family', yet in the way his arrogant and ambitious trait get better over what is important from him. In the end, he lost almost everything. Yes, almost everything. He is humiliated then his pride and raison d'être grounded to…

Along with this you must have text being showed to take a picture Other than these no issues so far hopefully will complete sometime in the next 3 days Edit 7.22.2015 I finished…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love has greater value than all the money in the world. Following what has happened at WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.01, WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.02 starts a few years after what has occured at the previous episode, and it starts at a very sad tone that slowly engages in a mature nature unlike the previous episode, which greatly emphasizes to what happened at the Main Character in the first episode. Again, WORLD END ECONOMiCA is a kinetic Visual Novel made by Isuna Hasekura, which is known…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Once again, I enjoyed the story and definitely recommend episode 2 as i did episode 1. But! Honestly, this was a little bit of a disappointment. The climax at the end didn't feel like much of a climax at all compared to the first episode. Less economics trading excitement but more depth in relationships and reflection. Looking forward to episode 3, it can't come fast enough
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WORLD END ECONOMiCA episode.02 is a kinetic visual novel which is a continuation of episode.01. It is written by the same author who wrote Spice and Wolf. Unlike the first episode, the story does not mention too much about economics, thus a basic understanding of economic concepts is not required to fully enjoy the novel. Story: The story for this episode is okay. It talks about the events that happen four years after Haru, the main character, had suffered from the events from the previous…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stupid premise. Bad writing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well that was a fun VN to read. Pros Makes for a great episode 2 for this series. Music is enjoyable and relaxing. Big emphasis on economics and the stock market. Characters are interesting enough to keep the reader interested. Great buildup for episode 3. Cons A few written mistakes and word wrapping issues but its no big deal. Some returning characters have their names changed which might confuse readers from episode 1 a little. 7.8/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is there a recommendation between yes and no? If so, that's where this story lies.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite an interesting story, I totally enjoyed it, I think it's a bit of a pity they do not have mobile versions of visual novels as it's probably a better medium. After episode 1, i sort of got invested in the characters... so if you are thinking of getting this episode, you need the other 2, as episode 3 brings it to a conclusion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great sequel to a good visual novel. Pros: -Good soundtrack -Great art -Great story -Improved characters (and interesting new characters) Cons: -A number of names are translated differently now -When you're tired but can't stop reading any infodump regarding abstract concepts will sound like nonsense -Not enough tsundere -Some new characters needed to be fleshed out way more WEE Episode 2 begins 4 years after the ending events of Episode 1. In the time between the main character has…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →shorter than the first episode, not as good but still enjoyable. maybe hasekura is saving the big guns for the last episode if you don't know much about business, you'll at least take away some very simple business concepts if you don't enjoy the story or the characters. this is a direct continuation of the 1st episode so you have to read that one to understand the basis of a lot of what's going on here, hopefully when the 3rd episode is released they'll have a bundle where all of them are…

It is a visual novel about the stock market and growing up. Pros: - A nice story about hope with a little fantasy added in Cons: - The story ends in a cliffhanger - Sometimes the translation is a bit off Specs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was a huge fan of Spice and Wolf so when I found out they had another beautifully crafted world to sink my teeth into I was on board. Instead of the relaxing atmosphere of a traveling merchant, they went with an action-packed story about investments. They exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At least this time, the translation hasn't blatantly mislabeled the speakers for any of the lines in the first couple hours of the game... Is what I wrote when I first reviewed this, but the problem still occurs later on. That said, the merits and flaws of this episode are the same as the previous: + It's a kinetic novel with interesting characters and an engaging story, by the author of another well-known light novel series. - The translation has issues. Not to the level of a mechanical…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love The Storie and The Soundtrack! Love Everything about this game, thanks so much! ^^ Regards from Colombia! ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picking up 4 years after the first episode, World End Economica episode 2 takes place during the largest economic boom in history. Multiple cities are under construction, and optimism is on an all time high. But behind the scenes the system is dysfunctional. The protagonist is working at a government office, uninterested in what the market is up to. But circumstances pull him back in the game, and he inevitably ends up investigating what’s really going on behind the scenes. A curious detail…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Decidedly shorter than the first episode, World End Economica episode.02 also fixes many of the faults of the first installment. There is a larger assortment of CGs, no long 'black screen with text' instances, music looping is seamless instead of awkward and out of place. I did notice a couple of typos, but aside from that there's nothing I can really add for negatives. The story feels like a setup for the finale, which isn't terrible to say the least, but it may make the wait for episode.03…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its was good but Short a lot shorter then the first one . But the story did take an interesting turn and i love the new Heroine more than the old :D.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’d say this is a decent follow up to the first volume. It is nice that the storyline is slightly changed from directly focusing on the stock market to more general business tactics. The way the characters have aged, endured trauma, and emotionally grown is really well-done. The artwork and UI are a step up from the prior game as well. This second volume does feel like a bit of an information dump at times. Despite this, the new characters that are introduced are generally likable and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While I do recommend episode 1, WEE: episode 2 introduces new characters and situations without making any progress on the previous game's storyline or characters. Perhaps this is lining up for a big convergence of the two different stories in the next episode, but with no sign of that anywhere in episode 2, it just feels like filler.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →STONKS episode 2
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Part 2 of this series skips ahead 4 years after the end of the first game. Despite the passage of time, there remains much unfinished business from then that needs resolving. This, essentially, is what WEE Episode 2 is about: moving ahead and not being stuck in the past. There is also, of course, plenty of economics stuff. Though rather than the high-tensity stock trading that was so much a part of Episode 1, here it is more like a detective story into government bureaucracy, an economic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick summary: two-part trilogy syndrome creeps in, but it's still a great read regardless. Just, keep vol. 03 on hand when you read this volume; you'll want to start it about five seconds after you finish this one. (No spoilers review) It's World End Economica's second volume, with more jargon, more characters, more feels, and more of everything else you loved from part one. And better, mostly. Graphics: 7/10 It's an improvement of most things from part one, and graphics aren't an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I must impress by how improvement happened in Episode 2 by not only Visual but also Soundtrack that is really good and always become memorial Soundtrack to me, I guess the only mistake they make in here is the engine itself now make me cannot take a screenshot of the game and inconsistency on name, well actually it's kinda not a big problem but a bit ruining the experience itself but this VN still deserve some thumbs up because the story as usual always good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A story that has proper character arcs and deep characters. A touching story that has no clear good or bad sides. Each party have their struggles and you have to make the right choices for you. One of the best new stories to be enjoyed out there with only a few cliches. Superb translations and great dialogs. The art is also very good. Interesting theme: economics. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WEE episode 02 is a great follow up to the strong start of this series. I really enjoyed how the story proceeds and I just love the different characters and their development from Ep 1 to 2. The mechanics of the game improved alot and every negative I had pointed out in my previous review got resolved and it plays smoothly without interruptions. For everyone who thinks about playing this story I should recommend to wait for the 3rd EP to come out. You can play the first part but then you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Since 132/140 people found my WEE Vol1 review helpful, I felt compelled to write a WEE2 review. One of the main problems I had with Vol1 was that the main character was... somewhat unlikable. But it's changed dramatically. The orchestral performance was one of the strongest points of Vol1, and it's only improved since. But most importantly, the plot is incredible. Let me tell you, this story is truly deep. Some quotes below: "The pursuit of justice itself has become sullied in evil."…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked the first episode enough to look at the second episode, I doubt you would feel disappointed at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →World End Economice is even more awesome then its predecessor. Alot of details, alot of events, alots of actions and at last alot of suspens and thrill. What do i actually need to say more? Just buy it and read it already lol you wont regret it, you cant regret it. BUT... if you do... it just means the text is to hard to follow for you. I love this VN!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Instead of a proper review, this is more like a memo I put to myself, but you can also apply it to yourself (reader) if you want. This series’ OST is really chilling. Please take it with your phone and listen to it often.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The second in the trilogy that makes Economic concepts slightly fun, this kinetic novel picks up four years after the first episode. The story is as engaging as the first, and heads towards a thrilling climax. Definitely worth a read. Get the bundle as all three are good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eleanor is much more compelling as a female lead
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the second installment of world end economica and you should check out the first one if you haven't in this part hal further grow out and taking back what he has lost in the two years before the money and the memory that confidence. He got it by uncovering the vile act of an uprising company. There is no plot twist this time though but there is a lot of portion that is about romance and self finding. The economies part is still as complex as before. All in all if you like economies and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →World End Economica 2. Even though my recommendation wasn't exactly glowing for the previous one, I would definitely recommend this one if you made it through the first. In my honest opinion, it was definitely better than the first. The story this time around is four years on from the end of WEE episode 1 and is still economics based but the plots shift a bit. He is no longer making money for the sake of some ludicrous dream. In fact, he is no longer making much money at all. He and some Swiss…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WEE 2nd episode is pretty good kinetic visual novel. As name suggests, its sequel to suprisingly good first episode. Unfortunetly, second part still has no voiceacting. Art is quite good looking, better then in first episode anyway. Story is still very strong and it can keep you pined to the screen for hours. VN continous story of Haru (was called Hal in previous part) four years after events of first episode. Haru still has problems to come to terms with what happened back then, but he is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For starter, don't play this if you haven't played part 1. Also, there is a part 3, which is not out on Steam as of this writing, so don't be expecting to conclude the whole series with this game. If you have played part 1, there is one change that will probably annoy you, which is that the way the names of characters is spelled is different. This really seemed odd and jarring when I played this game for the first time. I'm not sure whether I like episode 1 or 2's spellings the best but I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As this is part two, I'm going to assume the reader of this review has at least some inkling about the background behind the story. I won't spoil anything about what happened in part one, but it is in your best interest to avoid reading something that could potentially spoil you. Anyway.... Art: The art seemed a little bit more polished for the character designs. Overall, a good deal better than part one, although not much of an overall difference. Characters: Without going into specifics,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After playing through the first episode, I wish there were a neutral review option for this one. I really like the idea of this episode taking place years after the amazing ending of the first episode, with Hal still carrying the weight of his failure, but I feel like all of the things that made the latter half of the first episode great were not present in this one. First, the development of the connection between Hal and Chris/Eleanor. Despite there being a large emphasis of the beginning…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hagana is waifu. But Eleanor is best girl.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eleanor best girl.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lisa… Why are we still here… Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg, and my arm… and even my face… The girl I’ve lost… and the money I’ve lost… It won’t stop hurting, like they’re all still there… You feel it too, don’t you? I’m the one who got caught up with Avalon, a group above nations, even the Moon, and I was the parasite below, feeding off Barton’s power… They came after me in Outer Sections, then Schrödinger Street. Avalon just… keeps growing, swallowing everything in its…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update: My opinion has changed. It didn't grip me like the first episode did, and it didn't motivate me to keep reading. I don't know if the third will either but i won't check yet. I'll keep my old thoughts unedited but be warned they are not my true opinions anymore. Great continuation of the 1st episode. I only have 2 small gripes though: 1. Some of the main characters have their names changed.. for some dumb reason. All i can notice for now is that Lisa - Risa Serrault - Cerrow I don't…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Part two of the trilogy, completed in 12 hours, this series takes off and improves upon its prequel in every aspect. Completed 1/12/2017
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →amazing story that builds on episode 1's character building.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone that lives in California, This story hits close to home for me. 11/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad little Visual Novel by Isuna Hasekura (creator of Spice & Wolf) that should take around 5 hours to read. Ends on a cliff hanger though, so you might want to wait until all the episodes are released.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Normally im not a VN fan, but i played world end economica ep 1 on a whim, and instantly loved the whole stock market inspired story! (with a love interest undertone). Now that ive played epi 2.... I really do love this story, even as a very unemotional type guy this got me. If you like a good story (no game play or plot choices in this title) just pure intrestingly written buisness centered love story, then buy it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not long enough etc etc 100/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i would highly recomend this game to anyone who read the first one, and if you haven't read either than your missing a great adventure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit disappointing, it was shorter than episode 1 and just ended on another cliffhanger. Though that cliffhanger was actually a good one instead of the stupid one from episode 1. Episode 3 is looking to be great, just give it to me soon.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great writing what i would expect from the 2nd episode as the 1st was great all well. All in All? When can i stop throwing my money for the 3rd episode. Also i won't lie i cried a bit there at the end.
