Wolfwalkers
In a time of superstition and magic, when wolves are seen as demonic and nature an evil to be tamed, a young apprentice hunter comes to Ireland with her father to wipe out the last pack. But when she saves a wild native girl, their friendship leads her to discover the world of the Wolfwalkers and transform her into the very thing her father is tasked to destroy. From TMDB

The film is titled Kindred Spirits from Tomm Moore, the director of Wolfwalkers and Song of the Sea and will follow an Irish refugee child and a Choctaw son looking for a new home and a family. I love it.

unlabelledView post →It's really a shame that so much of the buzz around this movie was lost due to COVID and election stuff in 2020 and that it was only available on AppleTV when it premiered. Wolfwalkers is a true masterpiece and it made me feel a lot of feelings.
unlabelledView post →Another throwback! Wolfwalkers fanart I did and made into keyrings! Love this movie so much! 🐺 #wolfwalkers #Mebh #Robyn
unlabelledView post →Have you watched Wolfwalkers? If you have not, I urge you do so, it’s a most beautiful movie, with an unique art style, even embracing sketch lines in it and it’s just *chef kiss* This is Mebh - a great example of how they use shapes in the movie for the characters 😻🙌🏻 #art #fanart #sketch
unlabelledView post →Finally watched Wolfwalkers. Beautiful movie, highly recommend it. Put it off cause I have some weird trauma with wolf stuff. They were my big thing before dragons (first fursona was a wolf). But my family was very against my obsession with them, abusively so even. I wanna reclaim it though.

It's quite hard to comment on something when it's perfect and you can't find any cracks to grasp onto to peel at flaws. I will say it's always a beautiful feeling to watch a good movie with friends.
unlabelledView post →Thanks @devilligan.bsky.social for sharing Wolfwalkers with us! Such a great movie! 😍

unlabelledView post →Love how I hear the name Oliver Cromwell and my first thought was "That... that's not the bad guy in Wolfwalkers, right?" And I love that because technically... it is not. That name apparently isn't used in the film, but it's noted on the Wikipedia page that he was almost certainly based on him lol
