Wish
Asha, a sharp-witted idealist, makes a wish so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force – a little ball of boundless energy called Star. Together, Asha and Star confront a most formidable foe - the ruler of Rosas, King Magnifico - to save her community and prove that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen. unlabelledView post →i am actually fascinated by this movie? it delivers the same kind of thrills and satisfaction — and serves the same cultural and emotional purpose — as a film like DEATH WISH or DIRTY HARRY or JOE, except directed at financial villains and fraudsters.
unlabelledView post →DreamWorks has just announced a new original animated film! It’s called Forgotten Island and will be from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish director Joel Crawford that comes out September 25, 2026. I’m always excited for a new original film and I can’t wait to see this!

Dillinger Escape Plan joins Nine Inch Nails for "Wish" in Perth 2009, I'm in the middle of the stage with a DSLR and a death wish, trying to find focus without getting a guitar to the face. Watch to the end for Trent's drum dive. Dudes rock.
unlabelledView post →Wish was the biggest disappointment and humiliation to the Disney brand, AND REMEMBER, THIS WAS THEIR 100TH ANNIVERSARY MOVIE!!! and that film got absolutely obliterated by both the internet and box office bombs. and while bad box office ≠ bad film(ex: treasure plant) wish wasn't even GOOD 😭

unlabelledView post →Considering I wasn’t too high on this the first time I saw it (during its all too brief theatrical run), it has continued to go up in my estimation to the point where I now consider it his best film. Wish we could see the outtakes because so much wound up on the cutting room floor.

Come to think of it I’m not sure I saw the version which did not interpolate “When You Wish Upon a Star” into the score, which, even then I knew was a change… …because the soundtrack on vinyl DIDN’T….
unlabelledView post →If you wanted a worse version of Wish, just head over to Netflix and watch Spellbound. Even AniMat's review of the film has that title
unlabelledView post →Am I the only one hoping Disney’s Hexed bombs worse than Wish? Like seriously, this film is a blatant attempt at a ripoff of the Owl House while stripping away everything that made TOH special or interesting. Not to mention the trailer has one of the worst songs of all time in it🙄 #disney #hexed
unlabelledView post →I would say Wish started Disney Feature Animation's flop era, but it's still pretty early on to know for sure (And Zootopia 2 did really well to say the least.). The only way we can know for sure is if Hexed tanks at the box office and if the film itself is mediocre.

unlabelledView post →You can still enjoy it even if it sucked! XD Like, it doesn't have to be the most wonderful piece of art to be worthy of being enjoyed. I mean Wish is right there, not the best Disney movie, but it still brought some people joy. Go ahead, love Return of Jafar!

unlabelledView post →just watched the trailer for the Crossed movie...and it sure is a thing that exists! as someone who liked the first storyline, and some bits of Wish You Were Here, I'm...intrigued, but I'm also a big believer in "go as dark as you want but let there be SOME hope" because otherwise...why care?

I wouldn't say any of them are pieces of music that I'd listen to on their own, at least not religiously or anything close, but connected with the movie onscreen the music is very fitting. "This Wish" and "At All Costs" are probably the standouts. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the plot. It's all suitably interesting and held my attention span from…
