If you answered yes at least three times, you should get this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, I picked up this game as a joke for stream expecting it to be a terrible fanservice mess... but it's actually really good. I mean, it is definitely a bundle of fanservice, but the gameplay gets better and better as it progresses. The game has good replayability, all of boss fights are solid, and the abilities you unlock make the game more and more fun. I also think the 'Magic Mode' would make for amazing speedruns. Definitely a good game for the price point and I hope to see a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really wanted to like Wife Quest but it just straight up isn’t fun. The graphics are cute and it’s a fun concept but the combat and platforming is very stiff and zones drag on forever without anything to mix it up. Also the writing contains exactly one joke that’s repeated over and over and over again and it gets super old. Maybe this was supposed to be more fetish fuel than an actual game but either way it’s just not clicking. Also pro tip for anyone struggling in this game, the answer to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the game for a while and kinda got the gist. It's a 2D platformer with a bit of hentai undertone. The visuals are amazing. The story is pretty meh but it does the trick. Even though there are a lot of checkpoints throughout the levels, the bosses are extremely difficult to beat. The controls feel a bit clunky at times, I guess that's part of the challenge. If you're looking for something to raise your blood pressure this might be the right product for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's like one of those sex platformers but better because the sex is replaced with violence
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a soft *do not recommend* The game is fine, for under $5. I got it on sale for about $3.50 (no meme intended). It's a simple enough 2D sidescrolling action platformer. I wish the emphasis was more on action and less on platformer, as it starts to introduce platforming puzzles halway through the game that aren't very clever, fun, or interesting. In fact, I found they were tedious and unenjoyable. The action is fine enough, but very basic. There aren't that many different types of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hilarious. Stay away from my Fernando, you Husband-Thieves! The dialogue has me doing spit takes. The game difficulty was originally tuned way too high but it got adjusted down to where it ought to be. You just gotta keep buying shop items and you'll do fine. I like that the game is very lenient with death on ~95% of the content and just lets you rez at the last checkpoint with full hp / mana.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Next time on the 2026 Special, it's Wife Quest. Monster girls are trying to steal your husband. Use both sword and shield to punish them. Game has some iffy qualities that I'll get into whenever I write the review. #retrogaming #steam
unlabelledView post →At first when I saw the gallery with animations, I thought this was some ecchi stuff. Cute monster girls, cute wife trying to rescue her husband. I did not expect Mia to go all "God of War" on the enemies - the girl is doing executions! She's snapping necks, ripping tails and breaking spines in this game. She's anime Kratos in here... The game has a bit of a weird character controller, it's not perfect - but the game in all is okish. Would recommend - the story is funny and mechanics get a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was a really fun and surprisingly challenging game towards the end. Mia is so relatable too. Always angry and wants to beat everyone up that pisses her off. 10/10 Character, love her.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wish monster girls would invade my farm :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A boring, uninspired platformer with loose controls and no imagination. The enemies are redundant, the combat is tedious, just like the puzzles--which, so far, seem to be no more than "jump here, and then here, and then here," The pixelated style is fine enough, but it's been done to death and better than here. After killing an enemy, your character will (often involuntarily) perform a bland little kill animation, which might have been charming if only it served some purpose (like restore…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Platforming is overly frustrating, I don't have time to master micro jumps and dodge unfair life-sapping enemies strategically placed around death traps. This game is bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wife Quest is a very difficult 2D platformer/hack-n-slash game. The premise is good. But the game is so hard, it's not worth playing. Story: Mia is a warrior, living as a peasant with her good looking husband, Fernando. Monster girls routinely show up to kidnap him. Mia always chases them off. One night, the monster girls are able to capture Fernando. Mia gets her sword, and goes out to rescue him. Gameplay: You move throughout the journey in a 2D world. You kill the monster girls…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its too f*king hard. Requires grinding the same level over and over and over again to get the gold to get the upgrades to stay alive long enough to learn the patterns for the bosses. Its an anime version of Megaman, except Megaman is good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A totally great platformer with tons of cute girls! Who likes Jump 'n' Runs, Metroidvania is not averse, never wants to go Game Over along with super designed levels and great music MUST grab! One of the best games in this category!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game that won't make you pull your hair out! Also glad that didn't go the full on hardcore route. Nothing against it but there is enough of that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing like slaughtering monster women as a woman to start the day. Why is skipping the punishments an option? PS: Fria is new favorite waifu ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spending my Christmas Eve like every other day. Writing game reviews. pepsimanvsjoe.blogspot.com/2025/12/2026... Today's look is at Wife Quest. If you need Monster Girls on the cheap, this is still $1.50 and actually pretty decent. #retrogaming #steam
unlabelledView post →Both embracing and making fun of its roots as a hentai game (I mean really, the image gallery says everything) Wife Quest is the Blazing Saddles of its genre. If Blazing Saddles was only amusing as opposed to gutbustingly funny. Embark on an epic quest to rescue your husband from a harem of thirsty monster thots! Slay and maim hordes of women as desperate as they are smoking hot. Everyone down to the shopkeeper wants him, but only YOU get him! Hail monogamy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept is cute, like the characters and story, but the execution is just bad. Controls feel floaty and inaccurate, levels way to long, and bosses more frustrating then fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not what you think! No really, it's actually a pretty wholesome game. A tad jiggly, but wholesome. No actual nudity. You are a farmer's wife and your husband was kidnapped by a jealous witch. You platform around swinging a sword and beating up busty monster girls to save your husband. It controls well and you do unlock abilities as you defeat each boss. The environments are a bit bland and exploration isn't a big part of this game, but I still recommend it. I bought it for $1,49 on sale…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →you can have sex with the lizard girls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's about what you would expect tbh lol. Figured I would give it a shot because it looked mildly decent and had pretty good reviews. But If you are getting this for the gameplay, don't bother. Extremely generic and repetitive level design, decent visuals, and terrible dialogue.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game wants to be fun and it starts quite enjoyable while advertising itself as casual platformer. But as soon as you reach the third world you discover that levels goes on forever with some of the most infuriating timed micro-jumping you'll ever see. You get more powerful but so does the level design requiring timing, memory and sync so much that shovel knight seems an easy game. When I reached the level supposed to teach you dashing+cube I almost rage quit 'cause it's one of the most…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As the game's target audience, (fan of well done 2D metroidvania/sidescrollers with busty monster girls) I can 100% recommend getting this game. If they had made a giant monster girl, I'd have told the developers to get out of my head. The ogre girls are nice though. As far as actual review stuff. Uh.. Takes about 4-6 hours to play through normal mode. Wait till you finish normal mode to go back and do the challenges. Music varies from alright, to good. Nothing super memorable that I'd…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried really hard to mesh and enjoy this game. I figured hey metroidvanias are good and the story has potential. Though the only vibe i got was a psychotic wife that throws a temper tantrum anytime someone so much as mentions her husband, you spend your time getting to the end of the stage defeating monster girls then physically abusing them afterwards because how dare they come between you and your love. That and when anyone jokes about your husband or teases you you threaten to pull their…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Small update: the 4th land (freezing plains) is literally trash - due the bad controls enemy design and ultimately the fabricated difficulty I am close to rage quit and leave this game. The enemy push-back power is annoying since they push you off the cliff forcing you to restart the zone. idea could've been nice but the execution is terrible. The levels are just too long, the enemies repetitive and the bosses unbalanced - the mix leaved you with a extreme frustration feeling, The controls…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wife gets ntr'd by monster girls and rages times 1000. play very casually or suffer. get used to the opening animation every time you play the game don't expect to get everything at once since the game unlocks abilities to reach secrets, etc in the next zones. game is really hard if you don't buy upgrades. falling leaves section got me mad that they spawned just the tiniest bit too far apart and I had to wait 10 minutes for them to position correctly. animations are mostly reskins of the same…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would compare this game to Megaman x, its a more linear experience with funny story with secrets and bosses to steal powers from, note there is NO SEXUAL CONTENT! My playtime is for getting 100% achievements but i ran into problems getting some of the chests at the winter stage. For anyone going for 100% here is a crucial tip. You must pick up every single heart, mana, coin from every single chest, hidden or not. Getting all chests includes the not hidden ones and also it only counts if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charming, it's kinda hard but there are no one up system and there are checkpoints a plenty, and after finishing the game you get god-mode wich obviously makes the game imposibly easy. Nice action plataformer, a bit hard to get all achievements but not that much, very nice character design and yeah, you're using a PG Yandere, it gets kind of brutal the ♥♥♥♥ she does to downed enemies but sincerely after the first view of that animation it's just a waste of time (it would have been nice for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main point: it is NOT a NSFW/hentai/nude game! Everyone keeps their clothes on. But due to the dialogue and thematic elements, I can't recommend it for kids under the age of 16. Parents, please use good judgement about which games you let your kids buy. But if you're mature enough to handle some adult themes, then it's a fun little platformer game. Expanded review: As a platformer, it's fun. There are a couple of spots (one specific raft in the lava level comes to mind) that are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💍 Simply ADORABLE! Charming characters & funny comedy! It's literally as if «Wonder Boy» had a wife, who is a distant relative of «Shantae». Responsive controls, convenient mechanics, large locations with secrets, good level design, upgrades, bonus content, fair difficulty bosses — everything is great, not counting the attractive graphics and nice music. THIS is how 2D retro style platformers should be made (if talk about the tech part), and many indie devs should learn from this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like your favourite B-Movie. Unexpectedly fun to watch for fans of the genre but deep inside you know it's by far no A, AA or let alone AAA title. Still, strangely enough, you keep coming back to your favourite Blockbuster and rent it quite a few too much times in full awareness of what you're doing. Recommended for fans of the genre.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My Score: 9/10 Prologue On a small isolated island, the former warrior Mia moves with her husband Fernando to have a peaceful life on their farm. Unfortunately for our protagonist, the island seems to be already inhabited by several monster girls of various species, who loved the news of finally having a man to capture and have fun, leading Mia, who is cute but also quite jealous, to have to use them again, her warrior skills to protect her husband from being kidnapped over and over again. ^^…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wife Quest is a charming retro-style action platformer developed and published by Pippin Games that embraces the spirit of classic 16-bit adventures while adding its own playful personality. The story follows Mia, a fearless former warrior whose peaceful married life is interrupted when her husband, Fernando, is kidnapped by the seductive Dark Elf Morganna and her army of Monster Girls. Rather than presenting a dramatic fantasy epic, the game approaches its premise with exaggerated humor, witty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a fan of monster girls, I have to say—I approve of this game. However, it still has a few flaws worth mentioning. First off, this isn’t a hentai game. It does have some sexual content and innuendo, but it’s pretty tame overall, so don’t expect anything explicit. You play as Mia, a human warrior who’s deeply in love with her husband, Fernando. One day, Fernando is captured by monster girls, and Mia sets out to rescue him. To save her beloved, she has to travel across different kingdoms…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty but tedious and unrewarding, everything is just annoying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really want to vote this game down, as it's really only average at worst. Since I can't vote neutral, I'll go negative since that's the direction it leans. +Nice visual design, the sprites and environment are well done +Nice soundtrack +Checkpoint system is VERY generous. Most of the time, dying or falling is a mild inconvenience at worst. A couple instances where it's rough, but 95% of the time the checkpoints are great +Short but alright platformer experience *The game is VERY…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty difficult 2d platformer. The witty dialogue between Mia (The main character) and some of the other characters are funny, but the main gameplay is mildly rage-inducing and a few enemies attacks are kind of cheap, especially in the Fairy Forest (The second level.) I recommend playing the free demo on Newgrounds.com first, and if you enjoy it, then get the game on Steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ideal aggression outlet for jealous waifus.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didnt have fun. The projectile enemies are off screen, and you can't see them until you get hit. Especially cool when they hide them behind a jumping puzzle where you have to wait for the platforms to come down (and have super strange hitboxes for jumping on them) The pixel art aside from the gameplay ones are not very good. WHY would you combine pixel art and Live2D? it would have looked better to animate it. Music is generic, and its just irritating for the sake of being irritating.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good platformer. Totally didn't buy to stomp on hot monster anime girls...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a fun casual game. After each boss your character gets a new item which gives her new abilities, adding new ways to play and it never gets boring. The soundrack is amazing and it remembers me of some of the old Donkey Kong Country's soundtrack. Graphics are pretty, nice gameplay, and the interactions of the angry/jealous protagonist with the game's bosses are really funny. Speaking of the bosses, some of them are tough, and require that you use different approaches to beat them. Really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pure fun! It looks like something I'd totally do to the h*es that hit on my boyfriend xD Jokes aside, I'm having a blast playing it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny but the platforming sucks and the levels go on forever.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game, the bosses were hard, the jokes were funny, and all of the levels felt fun to play thru. A really solid game would recommend as a metroidvania 8/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is NOT a good game. Just avoid it, even on sale. I was expecting a cool, fun 2d run n gun, action, adventure, hack n slash, whatever type game. Instead it's a very pretty game with a beautiful soundtrack ruined with cheap enemy placement, annoying camera movement, lots of instant death scenarios and did I mention cheap enemy placement??? Think Ninja Gaiden NES where enemies are placed to purposely stun lock you into a pit. This game is like that all. The. Time. The bosses are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh, it's OK if you get it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bosses are difficult and is a welcome surprise so far. I hope you keep the difficulty as it is, or at least let us old farts keep the current difficulty through settings
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So Wife quest was an interesting one, I'm sure the way this game looks art style wise and girls wise it looks pretty pervy and granted there is one kiiind of pervy part but it's all comedic in taste and not lewd at all, in fact the story is both oddly cute and hilarious! XD it can be a little awkward to control at times but otherwise the game plays great and expands nicely as time goes on, plenty of treasures to find and everything dood. Okay onto the meaty review, the game revolves around…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not super long but the platforming is fun and varied, the boss fights are pretty difficult and varied, and the story is the right amount of corny. It's also very cheap.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Man, the game is cute and all, but the rolling rock level in DEEP CAVES 12-15 with those unfair spikes that you can't f*ckin see, fall from above RIGHT BEFORE A LEDGE SO YOU FALL DOWN AGAIN AND AGAIN? F*** that. This game is way too penalizing EVEN with checkpoints every 5 steps. It's a chore and I am so close to throwing in the towel. Otherwise good game, cute monster girls and funny conversations.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice lil platformer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm only at the first boss but that's been enough gameplay for me to know that this game is quite perfect for me. I too, will rip and tear through any who wish to kidnap and take away my husband, so I adore the protagonist right off the bat. The soundtrack is really amazing. Especially the boss music I've heard so far! The visuals are also gorgeous, reminds me a lot of Terraria. It's a really pretty style. Same goes for the animations and overall sound design, it's very smooth and well done.…
