unlabelledView post →WICKER PARK (2004) is a terrible movie. Like so bad don’t watch it on Tubi with ads. That said, the creative team behind it truly failed when they could’ve made it about bisexual women.

unlabelledView post →I have been relistening to the soundtrack to Wicker Park lately and it’s still so good. I don’t think anyone remembers the movie, but even fewer people have ever listened to the soundtrack. It’s definitely of a moment, but if you were of the same moment, you might like it.
unlabelledView post →Remember that era of rom-drams where people could be stalkers, but it’s chill bc they’re in love? WICKER PARK is kinda wack haha • #FilmSky

unlabelledView post →High Fidelity (2000) is a funny movie because it takes place in a pre-gentrification Wicker Park, and this dude’s record store is located on Milwaukee Avenue and is very unsuccessful, no customers. But if he gives it a few years, he’s gonna be loaded lol. It’s a redemption story in multiple ways.
unlabelledView post →I’d be willing to fly back to Chicago if you do a screening there. That movie is a time capsule of the 1990s Wicker Park scene where I spent my 20s. How about it, @musicboxtheatre.bsky.social?
unlabelledView post →Name a movie where the soundtrack was better than the movie. #FilmSky 🎥 #MusicSky 🎶 Wicker Park (2004) Stereophonics, Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie, Broken Social Scene
unlabelledView post →Reminds me of when I was living in Wicker Park in Chicago when the movie Wicker Park came out, which was mostly filmed in Montreal.
unlabelledView post →I didn’t know Wicker Park had haters. It’s a 2004 ass movie with people hooking up to a fire soundtrack.
unlabelledView post →Back in the Days when "Days of the New" was the New thing. Shot on 35mm black & white film with a Nikon F3. Printed as a tryptic and toned yellow in my darkroom. Wicker Park, Chicago
unlabelledView post →Paul Dano is a great actor.. Matthew Lillard is a great actor.. If you think Josh Hartnett is a good actor.. and you've seen Wicker Park.. Matthew Lilard almost stole the show in that movie.. As great as Josh Hartnett is etc..
unlabelledView post →Filter, photographed in Wicker Park, Chicago. Lot's of laughs. Lot's of pretty pictures. Shot on transparency film with a Hasselblad
unlabelledView post →Omg I kinda love it 😹 There’s a 90s French movie with Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel called L’Appartement (that got remade as Wicker Park) and it’s got this red theme running through it. Hot chic people in moody red hallways.
unlabelledView post →i realized only a little bit of the way into going to the wrong venue that this event is in a different location from the rest of this film festival and saved myself from going to *Rogers Park instead of Wicker Park*, please clap
unlabelledView post →That’s super cool. I lived in Wicker Park when they were shooting that movie. And later when The Real World was filming. Those were the days … Which store was yours?
unlabelledView post →Once upon I time I was recommended a film called Steel Magnolias, but misremembered the title and ended up watching Magnolia instead, *very* confused @ who had recommended it. With that Wicker film coming out, I’m wondering if Wicker Park might end up with an accidental resurgence (or vice-versa 😅)
unlabelledView post →Josh Hartnett’s Wicker Park movie is unfairly maligned
unlabelledView post →Never seen that one but should, really. And I need to read the book. I've always wondered how true the movie is to the book's Wicker Park environs.
unlabelledView post →Really enjoyed Hedda Gabler at the Den Theater! Great timing, as a film adaption with Tessa Thompson should be coming out any day now.📍Wicker Park, Chicago
unlabelledView post →What a nice day, I biked from Old Irving to Wicker Park and back in an hour and a half. And went through a TV/movie set along the way. 🤩
unlabelledView post →Dec 3rd: HIGH FIDELITY (Disney+). I’m in Wicker Park for the first time and just passed the location for Championship Vinyl, so today’s pick has to be Stephen Frears’s Nick Hornby adaptation, a great Chicago movie and an embarrassingly formative film for me that still holds up 25(!) years on.
unlabelledView post →Ah, but Chicagoans - especially Wicker Park hipsters - have thoroughly claimed the movie. Few know it was a book first.
unlabelledView post →"Wicker Park" (2004) is a movie that relies on a "missed connection" premise that doesn't make sense in the modern world. imdb.com/title/tt0324...
unlabelledView post →Layover in Chicago & before I leave I have to pretend I’m in the movie Wicker Park for a minute.

unlabelledView post →Film #296: Wicker Park It's... okay? I dunno, I feel like I've watched this done like 20 different ways before and it's not bringing anything new to the table outside of Josh Hartnett constantly looking confused. Rose Byrne is good in it though! #2026Films
unlabelledView post →There is no more perfect #movie #trilogy then Wicker Park (2004), Wicker Man (2006), and Wicker Tree (2011).
unlabelledView post →Books like Wicker Park (2004) https://www.booksns.com/215589/ I just finished the film Wicker Park and I’m in the mood for a book that feels like it. It’s cozy but kind of dark. Other movies in this realm to me are Closer (2004) and Chloe (2009). by just2beheree
unlabelledView post →I no longer live in WIcker Park. I have a lot of ghosts in there so don't go there much these days. But this movie fest I would have a lot of fun with.
unlabelledView post →btw that would be an amazing Wicker Park Chicago themed film festival. Club Paradise only has a brief bit in Chicago but it has half of SCTV and Brian-Doyle Murray so that's pretty close. Wicker Park was mostly filmed in Canada, but appears to have local shots too (I haven't seen movie)
unlabelledView post →I was fortunate to live in Wicker Park near The Crotch, and the neighborhood and intersection made it into a lot of movies too; Flatliners, Club Paradise, Big Shots, Red Heat, Streets of Fire, Backdraft, Above the Law, Next of Kin, High Fidelity, Stir of Echoes, and Wicker Park (The Movie)
unlabelledView post →Watched the movie WICKER PARK for the first time. Does this movie have a cult following? It seems like it should? It's a huge swing that's sort of "what if Mulholland Drive, but soapy and YA adjacent?" The cast is excellent - Josh Hartnett, Rose Byrne, Diane Kruger. A sorta clunky but fun film.
unlabelledView post →If you like Rose Byrne you need to watch Wicker Park, that is such a good damn movie
unlabelledView post →I've lived in two neighborhoods for more than a decade during important times of my life that have had a movie and song about them. Rogers Park and Wicker Park (although I'm thinking more of Liz Phair's Guyville than the DLIMC song)
unlabelledView post →On the latest episode of Four Stars: A Chicago Film Podcast, we went back to Wicker Park the neighborhood to talk about Wicker Park (2004), directed by Paul McGuigan: open.spotify.com/episode/2XKH...
unlabelledView post →Okay, Lisa Bonet is obviously untouchable in this movie and I’m not saying it would have been better this way, but WHAT? As if High Fidelity wasn't 1990s Wicker Park enough . . . www.avclub.com/liz-phair-ne...
unlabelledView post →It’s used at the beginning of Wicker Park. Good movie with a great soundtrack.
unlabelledView post →A clever and sexy non-linear love-story / love-triangle that definitely has to be viewed twice in order to understand the correct linear sequence of events. The women will love Josh Hartnett and the men will love both Diane Kruger and Rose Byrne. Personally, Diane Kruger makes this movie for me, and her beauty and sex appeal is off the charts. It's a fun movie that just wouldn't be possible if they all had cellphones, but try not to think about it! Don't forget to watch it twice. The 2nd time…
