It’s actually fine (all due respect) the women who wrote we need to talk about kevin didn’t have kids. Honestly.
Lynne Ramsay’s #WeNeedToTalkAboutKevin has only gotten better & more bone-chilling with age. Tilda Swinton’s complex, deeply nuanced portrait of maternal horror & anguish is shown in full color. Gut-wrenching, devastating & destabilizing. #BleakWeek

We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011) is genuinely horrifying. Not in a jump-scare way, but in how it sits with guilt, resentment, and dread. The film never lets you settle, it just keeps tightening.
What is a movie you watched once that was so disturbing or emotionally draining that you can never watch it again?
Trans issue aside, this story gives me “We Need to Talk About Kevin” vibes. Tragic. Sad. Scary AF.
good week! watching We Need To Talk About Kevin and Goon in the same day may have actually given me whiplash
