Doesn't play like any other boomshoot. It's an incredibly aggressive game, glass cannon style. Fights often last just a few seconds.

unlabelledView post →Been a bit quiet as of late, but that is mostly just because I am very tired... A big thank you to everyone who has been playing and enjoying my game!!! #Viscerafest
unlabelledView post →Yeah this game doesn't fuck around holy shit #Viscerafest
unlabelledView post →Ooh, speaking of the best kind of New Game Plus, I just found out that Viscerafest (a very twitchy boomshoot that I like a lot) is getting one soon with fully remixed encounters and some all-new enemy types.
unlabelledView post →Been playing Viscerafest since it came out of early access recently and my god does this game fuck. Between its aesthetic, story, and its stupid high speed its so good. Best boomer shooter Ive played in a hot minute.

unlabelledView post →Been playing through Viscerafest for video stuff. I know I only played through the original version of the first chapter during Early Access, I gotta admit, this game changed a lot and in some interesting ways.

unlabelledView post →So I thought I might quickly address this for those wondering, because especially with its ending, I've heard some folks make comments to this effect, but... #Viscerafest will never have a sequel. At least most certainly not in video game form... [Continued Below]

unlabelledView post →I'd honestly highly recommend Viscerafest. It's the most fun I've had with an early-access game EVER. Probably because it has what every good 90's "2.5D" shooter has and every modern Retro FPS lacks: a badass bloodthirsty antihero protagonist (no pun intended) store.steampowered.com/app/1406780/...
unlabelledView post →I feel like #Viscerafest was a game made specifically for me. Maniac woman who loves her boyfriend, mystical space shit, a TRAIN LEVEL, and solid move fast gib guys style. It's a special feeling. I've said it once and I'll say it again, @viscerafest.bsky.social good work :)
unlabelledView post →Hello, fellow humans. Please ignore my last schedule, there was a slight error in that I completely forgot a game I was waiting for came out earlier today and I really wanna play it. Funny how a glut of good games can do that to a guy. #Vtuber #ENVtuber #Viscerafest #Doom #Hitman #EyeSeeYou
unlabelledView post →VISCERAFEST CAME OUT OF EARLY ACCESS i'm gonna stream the whole game on twitch in like half an hour or so :DDDDDD
unlabelledView post →We are about to play a game I've been dying to try out for years. We are finally getting into Viscerafest, arguably one of the more well established of the "boomer shooters" out there. But call me a boomer and you owe me a sub.
unlabelledView post →Disclosure: I received a free review copy of this product from www.keymailer.co #Viscerafest #keymailer
unlabelledView post →In terms of Boom shoots, I've played Viscerafest and project warlock 2. Both are pretty good but I'd recommend waiting for pw2 to get a few more rounds of patches if you plan on buying it. I got a glitch on episode 3 that prevented me from finishing the game.
unlabelledView post →I don't think I should've done my first playthrough in Nightmare- (or stay up all night dying what feels like 200 times for the last few levels) Because this game gets ROUGH in a way that's a bit above my own appetite. But I did this to myself. #Viscerafest
unlabelledView post →Viscerafest store.steampowered.com/app/1406780/... I adore this game, I adore Caroline as a protag I adore the ass kicking I got near the end. its brutal, gory and fun as hell. Also only other acceptable use of Tombstone outside of Caleb from Blood.

unlabelledView post →Watching Civvie's Viscerafest video and this game goes from "this is a cute premise" to "wait holy fuck" REAL quick huh?
unlabelledView post →After you posted recently that Viscerafest is finally out of early access I've been playing that. Bought it a while ago, really love the game despite being more interested in the art style and story than the gameplay, love Caroline as a protagonist and the voice actress does an amazing job.
unlabelledView post →I got permission from my friend to share. The game is Viscerafest and the developer is the brother of my friend who is trans. He terrorized my friend for being trans, is extremely homophobic from what I’ve been told, and with the predator thing there’s allegations from the devs ex-fiancée. Cont. 1/2
unlabelledView post →Oh, you'll have a grand time with Viscerafest. It's probably my favorite game of the recent shooter waves.
unlabelledView post →Gotta warn you tough, Viscerafest is a more challenging boomer shooter experience. The dev tries to encourage a certain type of fun-zone where you basically have to use movement, weapon switching. There is not enough ammo to play this game without melee. Personally I love this design philosphy.
unlabelledView post →Viscerafest does have a surprisingly great story for such a balls hard game
unlabelledView post →This is gonna stop me working on my own game for a bit. In a good way. Think Viscerafest and hi-fi rush were the only other two that did that. Legitimately excited for it.
unlabelledView post →2) favorite female game character... Currently, Caroline from Viscerafest. In the past its been Ulala (space channel 5), Alys (phantasy star 4) Alisaie (FF14) Kate (no one lives forever) guess i can also say Jolyne "JoJo" Cujoh (Jojos Bizarre Adventure All Star Battle)
unlabelledView post →My Game of the Year 2025 is yeah it's fuckin Viscerafest by @viscerafest.bsky.social what the heck did you think it was gonna be Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and Silent Hill f are second and third, respectively but you just can't beat Caroline
unlabelledView post →next as always is the NICHE PERVERT GAME AWARD. i love that my only recurring categories are free game and niche pervert game. winner is VISCERAFEST! if you've been playing boomer shooter throwbacks and said to yourself "but these don't make me claw my eyes out from how hard they are", great news!
unlabelledView post →I drew the intro cutscene for this indie game called "Viscerafest". Alas, another artist had to take over, who did an excellent job, by the way. Just didn't have the energy for it combined with my current dayjob. Available on Steam 😜 www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8XV...
unlabelledView post →Its a two hour horror game with an interesting control scheme. Viscerafest is fantastic, once I started I had to finish it, its quite a journey.
unlabelledView post →I want to throw some criticisms in, as I think my glazing makes it seem like it is highly advisable. 1: It is stupidly hard. Viscerafest levels of difficulty. 2: No mid level saves and levels can last 30 mins. 3: I love the aesthetic, but it is very hard to see things. In a fast game, that is bad.
unlabelledView post →Caroline from Viscerafest is cute but ngl I don't think I could play super fast doom eternal style games As someone who's not great at games & has fried nerves, the game looks a bit much for me. I respect the vision but not for me
unlabelledView post →The Loverboy is one of the best pistols in any game. Headshots are so satisfying, and the secondary fire is a godsend. I forgot about Aftershock, haven't even bought it. But yeah, it's easy to get distracted - I was actually playing Viscerafest when Ion Fury came onto me like "remember me?"

unlabelledView post →Up to nearly 90 deaths in Viscerafest but honestly a lot of them have come from wanted to "feel cool" while clearing an arena. A game is doing something very awesome when it comes to movement and combat when you wanna hit that cool factor constantly. It's a pretty good aim trainer too lol.

unlabelledView post →Y'know, I think Viscerafest is a very good game, but playing it has finally made me realize why I didn't enjoy DUSK: I don't like bunny hopping. It's very stop-and-go feeling, I can lose all my momentum in a second and it takes a couple seconds to reach top speed (this goes for both games).
unlabelledView post →I did a video review for "Viscerafest" as I felt I had something interesting to add to the conversation. Overall, I didn't enjoy the game, but it has changed for the better since the early-access release, and at least has some decent writing in it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ls8Z...
unlabelledView post →@viscerafest.bsky.social Absolutely loving Viscerafest, please make a Sokoban spinoff game

unlabelledView post →Heads up! Viscerafest is scheduled to leave early access with full release this April, and the purchasing price will be raised from 14.99 to 19.99 USD/EUR on March 7th. So if you want to get it for cheaper, you'll have to hurry.

unlabelledView post →The game "Viscerafest" literally has the achievement 'I only buy games with achievements' that unlocks upon starting the game... Only 30% of players have it.
unlabelledView post →2. Viscerafest (PC) Very solid boom shoot. It feels pretty unique due to the bunny hopping mechanic and how the gameplay loop favors large scale battles with varied enemies. It felt stingy when it comes to giving the player enough ammo and some enemies were too tanky, but it didn't ruin the game .
unlabelledView post →"Marrow, isn't Viscerafest also your 2020-ish winner?" This year was the full, official, finished version of the game, and it gave me everything I wanted and more. I believe it counts.
unlabelledView post →Try Heartworm. It's a pretty short horror game that you can beat in less than 5 hours. store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app... I would also recommend Viscerafest but as a boomer shooter, it's not something you can beat in a single afternoon. store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app...
unlabelledView post →I’m assuming you’re asking for modern takes? If so, Viscerafest is pretty cool. Harder than a petrified poo, but it’s got a good loop of being a melee and guns game with a cute protagonist. Citadel is also fun, kinda tough too, but the weaponry is “satisfactory” and also has a cute protagonist.
