60 of 188 · most liked firstAs someone who has played Left 4 Dead 2 and Killing Floor 2 for thousands of hours, I appreciate the clear inspiration that this game got from them. While obviously not on their level, Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 delivers a simple but fun wave-based zombie killing experience, with a perk system to justify replaying the current few maps it provides. As it's still in Early Access (as it seems most games are nowadays), there's still a lot to be added, improved and fixed. I hope the developer doesn't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This has potential, BUT.... This game is designed for multiplayer coop, but nobody's online. As for the people who happens to be online, they have their lobbies in private. This is very bare bones, lacking lot of content. There are no gun upgrades, except mostly scope attachments. This means you have to create a lobby and play by yourself (Even if you set the lobby public, nobody will join you because of no players). I wish there is more diversity in zombie death animations. The lack of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I discovered UZD2 through Humble Bundle and its promotion by UZD1. Despite my excitement, I hesitated to purchase due to a negative review that raised several concerns. I will address these points and share my overall impressions. The gun recoil is very manageable and was probably fixed or never bad in the first place. Barricades are balanced and work similarly as in the first game exploding zombies only make a lot of damage if the player is close to them, otherwise barricades hold up fine…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can OVERCOME the TRASH in this CoD/Killing Floor/Sanctum COPY of a GAME.... then it's an amazing experience that I hope to see more from. - No jumping, not even a minor hop. - No crouching, not even a shift in perspective. - A lil lack of focus in game direction. - It looks like ♥♥♥♥. If you like any of the games mentioned, then honestly give it a shot if you can get past the wonkiness. + Tower Defense + Intelligent Pathing (They'll find weakspots, and even change path mid wave) +…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ultimate Zombie Defense 2 is a fast-paced tower defense game that plunges players into a relentless battle against waves of the undead. Building upon the foundation of its predecessor, this sequel amps up the intensity with improved visuals, a broader variety of enemies, and deeper strategic elements. The game captures the essence of classic tower defense gameplay while injecting enough new content and challenges to keep both newcomers and seasoned players engaged for hours on end. At its…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like if killing floor 2 and cod zombies had a child but all they wanted to do was play with their legos instead of taking over the family business. Positives + No bugs, pretty stable game (In my current 8 hours of play) + It has a fun and relevant class/skilltree system + Plenty of unique weapons + COD like perks except they are all quite creative and provide a interesting change to combat + Interesting zombie types + A lot of difficulty customization ++ Very fun and unique building…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly recomend playing on controller. After you've spent an hour or so blasting zombies with your buddies, it randomly quits working correctly and you are left with nothing but rage. Awesome.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has been released way too early. Core issues: * Way too many bugs, from gameplay to UI. * Griefers are way too prevalent. Outside of game settings based precautions, there’s many ways for players to grief by body blocking, bullet blocking, etc. * The kick option fails after a certain point and no longer works mid-game. Still not 100% sure of the bug root cause - but to repro it the griefer can just keep spam rejoining the game after kicked. * There is no ban feature within the game, so…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Upgrades menu and defense menu are super jank with gamepad. Didn't take any damage until round 12 then all of a sudden 6 super fast zombies kill me in 2 hits WTF. There is no balance in this game haha. Wal-mart Killing Floor.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably wont refund it since I basically got it for free, but this game is certified TRASH. The zombies movement animations are a joke. The difficulty, even on hard, where I started, is a joke. And it just loses it's charm so quickly. I don't think I'll play it ever again. There are much better games. It's 2025 and you don't even have a jump button. Losers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At round 20, the ability to turn stops working with a controller. This has been happening for over 6 months! WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS!?!? Used to be a fun game, but no point of playing now.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked this up with a buddy for about $6, and we had a great time with it. It’s a nice, refreshing change from more competitive games. I’ve always liked the idea of a tower defense mixed with zombies, so that alone made it pretty appealing—and it delivered on that fun factor. It’s not the kind of game you’ll sink 100+ hours into, but it’s perfect for a few hours on a Saturday night with friends. Pros: Good variety of guns Building and trap mechanics are fun, especially when trying to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game can be described as a mix of Killing Floor 1 (classes, monsters, art style) with oldschool COD Nazi Zombies. (barricading windows, pack-a-punch machines, mystery boxes) and some tower defense mechanics (building defenses and turrets) and soft roguelike elements. It's an interesting mix. Currently the game is in early access, and it lacks map variety, and gunplay and gore is not very satisfying, but this can hopefully improve in the future.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is well and truly bad. I enjoyed the first one but this is horrible. I only paid like $3.89 for it and still wish I had just bought an ice cream instead.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watered down cod zombies, which isn't a bad thing. I enjoy the simplicity and straight forwardness this game offers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wasn't paying attention when I bought this. I loved the first one so much that I jumped at the chance to buy the sequel. This one is a FPS instead, and a rough one at that. Everything that made the first one awesome, They made wonky or just scrapped in general. Definitely try the first one. Maybe skip this one. At least watch some gameplay videos first.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is solid! it's like a mix between CoD zombies x Rainbow six siege x killing floor. it's got a ton of potential but you can see it could use some fixes. i noticed kill counts were a little off and other minor things, but nothing game breaking.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SUPER FUN especially at the price point, i would give it 20 tbh. Its like old school COD zombies with wall guns, perks, and pack a punch, but also has (base building) not too in depth but enough to set up and make a stand. has special zombies and bosses but you can turn them off in the settings, really fun if you have a buddy to play it with. def recommend. It runs really well too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Was reminiscing on SAS zombies assault (flash game). The barricade system was top tier. Had so much fun that I bought 4 copies for my friends. AND THEY LOVED IT TOO! Would love more additional weapons, melee, maps, turrets and trap types, zombie types, hell variations (bosses, events), customisation, movement (crouching, jumping, fatigue?) Def need more optimisation. I have a top of the line PC and some waves you will experience the biggest frame losses from the explosions and amount of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first game is fun and unique, but unfortunately this is just a cod zombies wanna be.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This feels like the COD Zombie game I accidentally bought on Temu.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a lot there, but a solid foundation. Later runs can kill frame rate, I hope the dev is working on that or else it will be like his earlier game. On sale it has enough content to keep you busy with a few friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If CoD zombies and Killing Floor had a baby that was able to build defenses. This is that. Fun game to play with friends has a lot of work to be done, but quite fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →addictive coop banger. please add savegames, so i can start "another round" even at 11pm on a workday :-)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played... NMRIH, 7Days2Die, normally this is exactly my kind of game here.. BUT: -TooEarlyAccess -NoTutorial -feels clunky ..maybe next year ??
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I´d like a modification for the skill-tree. Since u can skill and reset for free, wouldn´t it be easier if left-click is add point and right-click is reduce point? It`s a quality of life optimization which should be easy to implement right? Thanks :D

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly good time! If you like tower defense and you like old CoD zombies, this might be an enjoyable game for you. Higher difficulties definitely make you work for it, but if you can get a good enough base setup you can last for quite some time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this on sale and played with a friend, I think even for 10 bucks, it's worth it. Doesn't try to do anything crazy- good old fashioned FPS with Tower Defense elements (or you can play survival without building) and there is also an objective defense game mode. Has a lot of aspects that made COD zombies great, with its own little unique flair.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game! Ultimate Zombie Defense is a game made for FUN without spending a ton of money! Like an old truck it has some quirks, but she hauls! No nonsense here. Get the boys together. Buy the weapons. Build THE WALL, and fight the undead hordes until more rooms can be built in Hell! Only thing the game is missing it hot survivalist chicks! 100% Recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked COD Zombies, You'll LOVE this game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got from a bundle not too bad for the price I paid. Good metal soundtrack some alright tactical defense mechanics. Might feel too quick, the gunplay feels a little generic you can upgrade scopes and put your gun in a machine like 3-4 times it changes colors and gets upgraded kinda plain, but simple I guess. I just wish bosses felt more hard themselves it feels like they throw a bunch of the bosses minions at you and the bosses aren't really hard themselves.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I know what they were going for, but this game is insanely easy. Just buy one mounted turret and everything dies. No need to worry about ammo, perks, nothing. There's no challenge and even the bosses are stupid easy to kill once you understand the gimmick behind them. If you want additional information feel free to comment and I'll reply.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Killing Floor and CoD zombies you must try this. There is tower defense elements that give nice spin for zombie killing. This is even more for those who like Orcs Must Die series. It's still early access and way lower budget game so don't expect perfectly polished game. Fun round based zombie survival with tower defense. There is game mode for "just survival (without building)" if you don't like tower defense. TLDR: Lower budget survival combining TD from Orcs Must…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adicting FPS style zombie Defense game. If you like the genre, this is a must have
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun game, brings back the old nazi zombies memories with a l4d/ killing floor style of special zombies. not very fun solo but with 3 or 4 players it really pops
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good game Can`t wait for the map editor ! Well worth a buy!

unlabelledView post →Ultimate Zombie Defense 2: My Review Pros: 🧟 Numerous waves of zombies that become increasingly difficult to handle. 🔫 A varied arsenal with the ability to modify weapons using attachments. 🏗️ Building defenses adds a genuine strategic dimension to the battles. 💥 Bosses break up the rhythm of standard waves and offer more intense combat. 👥 The 4-player co-op mode fits the concept perfectly, making it great for playing with friends. 🎸 A fun atmosphere, with zombie combat accompanied…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →extremely underrated game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont know how this game is not more popular.. on sale its very cheap. play it with 3 other friends and its really fun. the only thing missing between this and COD zombies is cutscenes and voice acting. but COD has gone too far with the scifi skins and guns. this game has more realistic guns
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trash 10 level i beat boss get gun upgrade all perks and then 1 random monster jumps on me from somewhere so fast i didn't even see it there was not even fraction of second time to react, all progress gone... No savegame
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i think its good but would be better if the developers communicated more with the community Also this game has alot of bought assets so not everyone might like it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its like COD zombies but better
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →half baked trash shoehorned into 1.0 with no additional content and still bugged to hell
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Pretty dead due to the lack of easy modding and map making.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. It's what I wanted from CoD zombies. A good fortification system. Just wish more people play. I'm not a fan of soloing in a co-op game. hehe
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chinese review in the bottom. The game's building mode is very simple as long as you find the right position to defend. Then I think the design of the mines is a bit too simple and has very low practicality, because the weak monsters always appear first. When the boss appears, the mines on the map that can hurt them have basically been trampled by the weak monsters that appeared earlier (using monsters to sweep mines?). I think it would be more practical to add some mines that are only…
