Turbulence
Directed by Claudio Fäh

Critics, per Wikipedia
Brian Orndorf of Blu-ray.com gave the film three out of five stars and a 6/10 score, noting the film's entertainment value, mostly during the first half of the film, but doesn't quite reach its potential. Joe Botten of Loud and Clear Reviews criticized the production, calling it "coach", but praised the ambition of the film.

The plot is thinner than the air they're flying in, but there's just enough invention to keep the film airborne. Exploding Helicopter fave, Olga Kurylenko, has the Glenn Close role.

unlabelledView post →Deep cut of the day- I’m a pretty big fan of Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal (2001). Admittedly, I’ve never seen the first two movies but the third movie is a lot of zany fun & metal. On Tubi- great for a Halloween season watch. 🖤💀🤘

unlabelledView post →Turbulence 2: Fear Of Flying (1999) TMDB score 45% Fun bad movie to pick the errors in. The plane changes from a Boeing 747-200 to a 737-400 during flight, though the engines (Trent 700) are from an Airbus A330. The fuel gauge they zoom in on is actually the engine exhaust gas temperature gauge.

unlabelledView post →Easter week, 1998. I was headed off to Disney World for a family vacation and the trip would also mark my first time being on a plane. Well, childhood me had the great idea to stay up late the night before my trip and watch the film Turbulence. Scared doesn't even begin to describe it.

Had to change planes. Turbulence over the Rockies. 30+ children on board. The in-flight movie was Made of Honor. Monaghan is great in it.

It felt like it was meant to be outrage bait for chuds, in a strange way. They also turned Kelsey Grammer into a type of jelly, which was novel.
