Tower of God
Reach the top, and everything will be yours. At the top of the tower exists everything in this world, and all of it can be yours. You can become a god. This is the story of the beginning and the end of Rachel, the girl who climbed the tower so she could see the stars, and Bam, the boy who needed nothing but her. From TMDB

positive · AI labelView post →Most of the appeal of Tower of God season 1 was its unique and distinct artstyle. Even though the actual animation was mostly bare-bones, the visuals managed to carry the series pretty well. Now the show looks like any bland and generic modern anime that everyone will forget days after its release.

positive · AI labelView post →What's the chapter where a manhwa series clicked for you? For Solo Leveling it's around ch 40. For Tower of God it's the Workshop Battle arc. For ORV it's when you realize what the protagonist already knows. #manhwa #soloLeveling
neutral · AI labelView post →Anime updates: Tower of God: Pretends to be good, but at the end of s1 drops the act and converts to hot garbage. Avoid. Perfect Insider (Subete ga F ni naru): good mystery. Fucked up show. Good. Boogiepop and Others: Also fucked up. Quite good. Like Bleach if it was Shoujou and darker. 1/2

The stuff I tend to like that's come out over the last 12 years tends to be the more obscure/less popular stuff. I also rarely like stuff with super OP characters.

unlabelledView post →Finished Tower of God S2 (last night) Rachel doesn't even show up in this one. I also don't like how the bickering factions aiming to topple the tower make it feel less god-like. It also continued looking awful. The reunion was sweet I guess, but this was NOT worth the wait.

Season 1 had a unique look to it but season 2 just looks like a generic anime style. Sucks that they changed studios for whatever reason. #Anime #TowerOfGod

He acts more brutish and calls most of the people "turtle" but he is a very good friend and comrade, that is able to change his size and also attack with a spear.

Tbh, it just all seems off and a big part of that is the animation. It’s just so much worse than season 1 that it throws me off every episode. Season 1 was definitely amazing though! #towerofgod #anime #towerofgod2
