A time travel slasher comedy that hits all the right notes. Every time I think I’m done with 80s throwbacks, something like this comes along and changes my mind. On Prime Oct 6!
positive · AI labelView post →A teenager accidentally time-travels back to 1987 when a masked, knife-wielding killer returns after 35 years and blood and hilarity ensues. Great cast, especially Kiernan Shipka, who has perfect comedic timing. TOTALLY KILLER is like totally a blast. Available now on Prime. 📽️#filmsky #horrorsky

neutral · AI labelView post →Ok, movie recs request: There’s a subgenre of weirdly wholesome slasher movies (final girl is saved by the power of friendship!) that are basically slasher versions of other movies. - Happy Death Day (Groundhog Day) - Freaky (Freaky Friday) - Totally Killer (Back to the Future) Recs for others?
neutral · AI labelView post →For my money, Totally Killer is the better movie over all but Final Girls has a better climax. They’re both really good, though!
positive · AI labelView post →Watched Time Cut You want a slasher horror film that uses time travel? Go for Totally Killer on Amazon because you aren't going to get much about this bore. It has some cool ideas but wastes all of it with lame kills and awful writing.
positive · AI labelView post →With Barbarian finally getting a release these are some other stuck on streaming flicks Id love to see get a physical release. 13 Lives is a freaking Ron Howard movie. Amazon MGM licenses stuff out why not Totally Killer? My favorite Sebastian Stan flick Fresh stuck on Hulu. Fear St. would print 💰
neutral · AI labelView post →#nw #sweethearts I’ve only seen good reviews so far! And I love my Totally Killer girl Kiernan 🥰
neutral · AI labelView post →NW: Totally Killer Background rewatch while I make a very large document for work. Still annoyed this doesn't have a physical disc.

neutral · AI labelView post →Watching Totally Killer. Love how every movie is filmed in my city so I get my immersion broken every 5 minutes.

neutral · AI labelView post →Totally Killer was totally awesome. I didn’t realize how much I needed a movie like this in my life these days. I didn’t want it to end. Time Travel, Horror, Comedy, and just fun all around. 🎥🎬📽️ #filmsky
positive · AI labelView post →If you see this quote with a time travel movie thats not back to the future Totally Killer - a really fun time travel slasher.
positive · AI labelView post →Day 22 of the October Horror Movie Challenge slices into Totally Killer. A slasher comedy with a time travel twist that knows how to focus on the fun parts. blasphemoustomes.com/2023/10/22/t...
neutral · AI labelView post →TOTALLY KILLER (2023): Maybe my favorite time travel movie in a minute? Understands that movie quantum physics is a vibe, not a science, and introduces a few fun new wrinkles into the mix. Owes a lot to FREQUENCY, oddly enough?
positive · AI labelView post →Here’s my review of TOTALLY KILLER, a fun little 80s slasher that plays like SCREAM by way of HOT TUB TIME MACHINE? Kiernan Shipka delivers as always.
positive · AI labelView post →cheers to Time Cut (2024), a trash 91 minutes made terrible by a lazy af ending and doomed to be called a rip-off of Totally Killer(2023) despite TC's filming starting first 1.5/5 🤷♀️
neutral · AI labelView post →TOTALLY KILLER is so much freaking fun. I loved it. Perfect movie for the season
positive · AI labelView post →Yet another triple feature❗️ • Totally Killer - Charming film that could have been better. • Don’t Hang Up - eh. Magical hackerman with a predicable revenge plot. No bueno. • TMNT: Mutant Mayhem - Banger. Heartfelt and funny❗️
neutral · AI labelView post →I didn't think Amazon's "Totally Killer" was very good as a horror movie or a sci-fi time travel movie, but as a comedy it made me laugh a bunch. Sally Draper is VERY funny.
neutral · AI labelView post →Totally Killer is fun as hell. It’s Scream meets Disney Channel Original movie, which is an exact Venn diagram of My Shit™ www.ign.com/articles/tot...
positive · AI labelView post →Seated for my final film of Fantastic Fest - TOTALLY KILLER!
neutral · AI labelView post →Next week is going to be “Totally Killer” so you should def check the movie out and tune in Monday.
neutral · AI labelView post →Some things that hurt Time Cut are (1) the release delay that put it after Totally Killer, but (2) nostalgia for the early 2000s doesn't match the 80s and 90s -- especially if the film is only going to have occasional reminders of the time period. #MutantFam #Letterboxd No. 416 #Horror365Challenge
neutral · AI labelView post →#NowWatching Time Cut (2024), co-written & directed by Hannah Macpherson. Also written by Michael Kennedy (Freaky, It's A Wonderful Knife). My initial reaction was this film was Netflix's response to Prime's Totally Killer, but Time Cut was actually written and made first. #MutantFam #Filmsky

neutral · AI labelView post →Having a toddler absolutely (and rightly!) reduces your movie time… but I’ve made my top 10 of 2023. 1. Across the Spider-Verse 2. The Marvels 3. Barbie 4. Totally Killer 5. Evil Dead Rise 6. Bat Mitzvah 7. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 8. Indiana Jones 9. Super Mario Bros 10. Tetris
positive · AI labelView post →I am aware he was on that, I watched the first season+, but we are watching a new slasher film called TOTALLY KILLER

unlabelledView post →#31horrorfilms31days movie #10: Totally Killer! This was so much fun! My fave so far out of the “new” movies this month. (New meaning new and new to me.)
unlabelledView post →First horror movie of spooky season: Totally Killer Fun. campy. Decent slasher. Time travel stuff always is hard for me to get super invested in 3.5 ⭐️
unlabelledView post →I'm watching an incredibly cheesy Halloween movie where a teenager travels back in time to the 80s and so far it's hilarious (It's called Totally Killer and it's on Amazon Prime)
unlabelledView post →I had a lot of fun with TOTALLY KILLER. A lot of fun, great humor, and still really bloody. Great closing film, and I think people are going to have fun with it when it drops on Amazon. Review soon!
unlabelledView post →I know her from directing Totally Killer, a really fun 80's themed slasher movie from a few year ago

unlabelledView post →Watching "Totally Killer" included with Prime. When it becomes available on a free service, I recommend this for #FrightClub. Looking forward to tonight's movie!
unlabelledView post →We watched Totally Killer yesterday 😁 Kieran Shipke and the mum from Modern Family; and it's what if "Scream" and "Back to the Future" had a movie baby It's leaving Amazon Prime soon 👍
unlabelledView post →Totally Killer: Shipka is a frustrated delight in this reflexive and enjoyable time travelling slasher film. It doesn't do a huge amount that is new but Khan's snazzy direction keeps the knowing plot moving. Good fun.
unlabelledView post →Scary Movie #38: Totally Killer This was fun. I did not know Nanotchka Khan was Nick Khan's sister, like from WWE. It's wild.
unlabelledView post →This afternoon's treadmill entertainment — the silly time-traveling slasher movie Totally Killer. It doesn't break any new ground, but that's not always necessary. It was perfect stepping fodder!
unlabelledView post →Amazon Prime’s Totally Killer was a fun watch, mixing slasher movie tropes and the fun of movies like Back to the Future. 4/5 for watchability and creativity.
unlabelledView post →Totally Killer (2023) This could be the movie that finally kills off the slasher. Basically it does the same thing Happy Death Day 2 does. Loads of 80s references. Clunky script and cumbersome storytelling.
unlabelledView post →New Blood Splattered Vlog! This week The Horror Guru & Count Jackula review TOTALLY KILLER! The latest classic movie-themed slasher comedy that's basically BACK TO THE FUTURE meets SCREAM! youtu.be/S7whjJfwQU0
unlabelledView post →Just watched Totally Killer with @jennatar.bsky.social and what a FUN movie! Tone perfect and a bloody pastiche with strong influences from across "slasher flick" history. 10/10 my only regret is I can't experience it fresh again! (Happy spooky season!)

unlabelledView post →Thursday night for horror we watched the delightful time travel comedy slasher Totally Killer, and really enjoyed it. I also watched 10 X 10, an okay abduction/revenge movie
unlabelledView post →I rarely watch movies again so closely after seeing them, but Becky hasn't seen TOTALLY KILLER and I love this movie so, so much.
unlabelledView post →I'm watching Totally Killer and remembering again that any time I see someone in a movie or TV show and can't place them, it's almost certainly because they were in an episode of Supernatural
unlabelledView post →Film 45 of #100HorrorMoviesIn92Days: Totally Killer (2023) - Nahnatchka Khan Source: Amazon prime When the infamous Sweet Sixteen Killer returns 35 years after his first murder spree, 17 year old Jamie accidentally travels back in time to 1987 determined to stop the killer before he can start.
unlabelledView post →“Totally Killer” is the best time travel movie. Fight me.
unlabelledView post →Oh shit, Totally Killer is free to watch on Amazon! Okay, I know what's going on my Horror movie marathon now because I may never get a chance like this again.
unlabelledView post →#NowWatching Totally Killer. #52filmsbywomen
unlabelledView post →Watched Totally Killer 2023 Enjoyed this WAY more than I thought I would. Figured out the baddies early but didn’t stop me immersing in the silliness of a modern teen going back to 1987. It’s Hot Tub Time Machine meets Scream. Shipka does amazing deadpan. Very fun watch. Great film.
