neutral · AI labelView post →No cast before or since slayed this much puss as GoldenEye. I also liked the reflective moments with M calling him a misogynist dinosaur and the beach scene with Natalya telling him “that’s what keeps you alone” If they took 6 years to write bangers like this, I’d be cool with it. Top 5 Bond movie

neutral · AI labelView post →Putting on my Top Gun nerd hat to say that his dad flew with Viper (the instructor in the original movie) and died in combat in 1965, so would likely have been too young for WW2. Though Maverick had a 35 year career as a combat pilot before settling down, so his dad could have as well.
neutral · AI labelView post →Andi MacDowell's dolphin impression was *TOP NOTCH*. A friend once opined that the movie was horribly marketed -- it's an action-comdey, it's a classic absurdist heist comedy, and it's *great* at that.

neutral · AI labelView post →This is his next big acting/writing project releasing in 2027. He’s also in Top Gun: Maverick and The next Top Gun 3 movie coming in ‘27 or ‘28. 🙄 He looked only vaguely familiar to me, too! 🤭 nexuspointnews.com/judd-apatow-...

neutral · AI labelView post →I have no idea how a Major studio would market it other than ‘Cruise does an arthouse film.’ It’s so outside their wheelhouse. But if you frame it against, say, a Top Gun, it’s speaking another filmic language entirely.

neutral · AI labelView post →Highkey a Top 4 movie of the 2010s for me. One of my favorite movies of all time. I'd retroactively re-do the 85th Academy Awards just to give Ben Affleck Best Director. The single most mind boggling and unjustified snub of the last 26 years. I can't help it, this movie is THE SHIT!

neutral · AI labelView post →Top priority: new Madoka Magica movie, but it ignores almost everything from the one that just came out and gives us a more reasonable Rebellion sequel/series finale. Second priority: Otherside Picnic OVAs that faithfully adapt the novels. Third priority: Mai Hime reboot that ups the yuri.
