Tokyo Revengers
Takemichi Hanagaki is a freelancer that’s reached the absolute pits of despair in his life. He finds out that the only girlfriend he ever had, in middle school, Hinata Tachibana, had been killed by the ruthless Tokyo Manji Gang. The day after hearing about her death, he’s standing on the station platform and ends up being pushed over onto the tracks by a herd of people. He closes his eyes thinking he’s about to die,… From TMDB

Here's [my anilist](https://anilist.co/user/rammyramramram/animelist) for reference. Beyond what's there I'm watching the ongoing anime: - Spy x Family 2 - Frieren - Shield Hero 3 - Tokyo Revengers 3 - Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent 2 - I'm in Love with the Villainess Any recommendations are appreciated 🥰

neutral · AI labelView post →I am six books deep in Tokyo Revengers. Fun little series about an aimless 20something who slips back in time to his delinquent younger self, tasked with unraveling a gangland mystery that eventually resulted in the death of his old flame. Lots of bosozoku silliness.
positive · AI labelView post →I was checking to see if I'd posted my Tokyo Revengers figure collection before and a) nope + b) you can literally watch me convince myself to get into this show, wow. Anyway, the figures are from 11/23 but I didn't start seriously watching the show until after that 🤣

positive · AI labelView post →Ok, I've watched episode 1 of Tokyo Revengers. I did NOT expect it to be a time travel show about saving someone, kinda like what I hear Erased is about. I thought it was gonna be a standard series about gangs, like some of Durarara is.
neutral · AI labelView post →Is Tenjiku arc of Tokyo Revengers season 2 part 2 or season 3?. Is Tenjiku arc of Tokyo Revengers season 2 part 2 or season 3? I'm pretty confused about it. Many sources are saying it's season 2 part 2 and many sources are saying it's season 3. Such as, when I asked ChatGPT and AniList etc. it said that it's season 2 part 2. And when I asked Grok AI, it said it's season 3. I used to think that the Tenjiku arc is the second cour of season 2 or something but I'm genuinely confused at this point…

neutral · AI labelView post →Meant to post this earlier, but these were my January reads. Didn't really care for Mina & the Undead, so I'll be unhauling it via PangoBooks. Last Game & Beauty & the Feast were okay. I did not expect to enjoy Tokyo Revengers as much as I did. Will definitely continue the series. #BookSky
positive · AI labelView post →Since this season seems fairly light and pretty heavily weighted towards the weekends, I've decided to supplement with other shows from my backlog to watch in between: - [Sasaki & Miyano](https://anilist.co/anime/126288/Sasaki-to-Miyano/) - This is based on one of my favorite manga of all time, but I skipped the anime when it came out because I was so disappointed by the BL budget and sort of weird pacing. But going back in knowing its flaws, I'm able to enjoy seeing my boys fall in love all…
neutral · AI labelView post →I have never seen a more dedicated show in making sure the audience knows who the "cannon" ships are, the way that Tokyo Revengers does. I feel like they plotted every single storyline with a queer bating specialist. Because what do you mean EVERYONE'S in pairs?
negative · AI labelView post →Saw a mildly misogynistic Tokyo Revengers tiktok that was mocking Hinata and saying Takemitchy chose Mikey over her and it's like... A) did you finish the series because he did not do that and b) did you start the series because he did not do that actually?? TIRING.

positive · AI labelView post →Tokyo Revengers is a show a lot of people do care about but I don't think there is an overlap between the fanbases lol.
neutral · AI labelView post →As someone who worked in an anime store for four years, I can tell you Tokyo Revengers is LESS than the series of all time. No one cares about it. Merch doesn't sell, no matter how cheap we made it. Even in Japan when I went in 24 and 25, that series was cluttering clearance bins everywhere

neutral · AI labelView post →Why do I struggle to watch a new show?! Tokyo Revengers, I watched 11 episodes in a week. Uzaki-chan, watched one episode ages ago. Rosario Vampire, 2 episodes. Attack On Titan, I've watched 16 episodes in just 2 days. I wanna watch things I haven't seen, but rewatching is too easy 😂

neutral · AI labelView post →Wind Breaker! I’m on season 2 and I really love all this bromance that’s going on in the show. I’m excited for the rest of the episodes. I don’t know what’s fueling this rise in bromance anime but I’m loving it. Might rewatch Tokyo Revengers later this week and finish Blue Lock!

neutral · AI labelView post →> I completed Erased last week. I had to dredge around for a while before I realized which series this was (I have it filed in my brain under the more-wordy original title, "Boku dake ga Inai Machi"), and yeah, it's pretty well-done for what it is. In retrospect, I kind of wonder if Tokyo Revengers doesn't have a bit of this series in its DNA.
