unlabelledView post →I sometimes think about the old Thumbelina movie. I don't remember a goddamn thing about that story except Mama Toad and wanting her to pin me to the bed and suck my face with her ridiculous lips.

unlabelledView post →which film reminds you of your childhood? I was also obsessed with Thumbelina and The Little Mermaid, but none of the other kids seemed to know The Swan Princess. I was addicted to yearning by the time I was 6 🤭

I think that movie is responsible for a lot of why I am the way that I am haha ❤️ Prince Cornelius was always a great romantic hero in my eyes! Maybe Cornelius will bless my garden 🪴 🧚🏻♂️ . . . #thumbelina #fairy #cornelius #princecornelius #donbluth

unlabelledView post →I'm reminded of a test screening they did for Don Bluth's Thumbelina, where for one of the screenings they put the Disney logo before the movie, and the feedback there was far more positive than usual. I sympathize with the guys who had to make the Thumbelina of open world make-your-own-fun games
unlabelledView post →Thumbelina still means everything to me. I actually found an artist who makes pins of the movie I plan on purchasing.
unlabelledView post →It's a shame that the closest we ever got to Carol Channing in an animated Disney film was Thumbelina (a non-Disney Don Bluth film). Channing's unique voice was practically made to voice animated characters.

unlabelledView post →M got to pick a movie and requested Thumbelina (1994) based solely on the thumbnail picture. HOLY SHIT WHAT A BAD MOVIE. So bad. I’m now in a rabbit hole of what a colossal box office flop it is. It should have worked! Barry Manilow! The same voice actress as Ariel! Charo! Carol Channing! But omg.

unlabelledView post →So there's an anime based on Hans Christian Andersen's Thumbelina that you might have seen back in the day when it was edited down & compiled into a "movie" called Thumbelina: A Magical Story. If you've not heard of it, go watch it. It's VERY Good.
unlabelledView post →I think Carrie was the first horror movie I ever watched (at 10-11) as opposed to the first movie that ever scared me which would be... Probably Thumbelina. For some reason www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjdT6KKG/

unlabelledView post →I love that movie! Hans Christian Anderson has quite a few wonderful songs. Also, Thumbelina. I love that one because I was considered very small when I was a little girl. Inchworm is a beautiful song too. 🙂 www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXi3...

Anastasia, Secret of Nymh, Balto, Thumbelina, The Hobbit.... and yes, even We're Back, many times (So much more Don Bluth than I realized!)
unlabelledView post →Beautiful, Thumbelina! You look like a movie star.🤩⭐️
unlabelledView post →Haven't seen either movie before, thankfully, but a couple of old children's movies come to mind: Swan Princess & Thumbelina Swan Princess isn't a love story: It's a story about an arranged marriage between two people who don't even love each other, and can't even communicate properly.
unlabelledView post →Thumbelina (from the 1994 Don Bluth movie) is Autistic! She stims in the film (fidgets with/flails her hands, pressing her hands to her mouth, and covering her ears) has a special interest in having wings/flying, and has sensory issues (perfume smell and crunching noises)!!

unlabelledView post →After Thumbelina and Troll in Central Park and during the making of this film, Don was not having a time of his life as his studio really went rock bottom than it should.
unlabelledView post →Yeah, it was not good and I clearly see why AniMat hated this film more than Thumbelina and a Troll in Central Park. But I’m not gonna say the same thing with me until I see both films. It’s bad, but it might happen with the next two films.

unlabelledView post →I agree that my favorite Bad Movie is also a Bluth Film. But Thumbelina is a guilty pleasure for me. If that movie had come out 20 decades prior, it would have been considered a classic. I like to watch the Japanese dub of the songs and think it's a film that was lost in translation.
