Ask us questions about hydration, strategy, tactics, and Louisiana, a state with a rich culture and history but a notoriously corrupt government.

unlabelledView post →Sometimes, when I'm watching The Waterboy, I have to shake myself and say "Shit that's Annie Wilkes!" I love her in that movie. #FrightClub
unlabelledView post →also picking "The Waterboy" as the Sandler movie to include is unforgivable. Absolute crime. straight to jail.

unlabelledView post →I've been treating the 5 streaming service's movie inventory like the shelves of the video store I used to run in the 90s and just throwing on movies that still get love but I've never seen. This wknd it was "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" and "The Waterboy." No reviews, just adding content.
unlabelledView post →I’d be all over a sequel to The Waterboy but that might actually be a legitimate case of “you couldn’t make that movie today.” Or maybe I just lack the imagination. What about just 90 minutes of an alligator slowly eating Rob Schneider though?
unlabelledView post →Lunchtime thoughts: Not liking a TV show/movie/music doesn't make it inherently bad. *However* it works both ways. I love The Waterboy, but that doesn't make it a great movie. Your favorite thing isn't necessarily "good." And don't forget, art is subjective, period.

unlabelledView post →it's that movie your dad used to quote until it got replaced by The Waterboy, then Austin Powers, then Austin Powers 2, then Meet the Parents, then Anchorman, then Talladega Nights, then Sean Hannity,

unlabelledView post →It's from the Adam Sandler film "The Waterboy."
unlabelledView post →the thesis of the movie "The Waterboy" is that there is, in fact, an I in Team. fuck strategy, fuck spirit, fuck hustle.
unlabelledView post →7. Is THE WATERBOY a good movie? I really doubt it, but it's been a while. But I genuinely think that the decision to cast Fairuza Balk right after THE CRAFT, playing essentially the same character but as the leading love interest is one of the best decisions ever made in a mainstream comedy.
unlabelledView post →The Waterboy (Adam Sandler, 1998) is probably the only good movie Sandler ever did. Its one of my favorite cases of accidental autistic representation, and don't get me wrong it's usually played for a joke but hear me out for just a moment and forget that it's a Sandler film:

unlabelledView post →The sole flaw in the 1998 comedy film "The Waterboy" is that it does not adequately represent the perverse glee a college football fanbase would have in ruining the season of their biggest rival. Like the climactic matchup can just be on SoCon Saturday, it doesn't really need to be a bowl game.
unlabelledView post →Surely this film starring the lead of Lil Nicky, the Waterboy, and Big Daddy won’t be a critique on capitalism and alienation

unlabelledView post →Another Sandler-led football film, The Waterboy, did likewise, only making $28.7M internationally. I'll be honest. I didn't even know the film was being released this weekend & I watch a lot of over-the-air broadcast television. Universal, which owns NBC, really didn't promote Him well domestically

unlabelledView post →Uncut Gems is a different beast for him. If I'm going with the "Adam Sandler movie" I think my favorite would be The Waterboy or Big Daddy.

unlabelledView post →…most film critics. I learned this in the nineties when I read newspaper reviews of The Waterboy. These reviews shared the common thread of being upset that they had to watch an Adam Sandler film.
unlabelledView post →THE WATERBOY (1998) Look it’s not a good movie, it’s bad, it’s dated, & problematic… but I can’t lie it still has me snickering & chuckling on every rewatch. It’s a guilty vibe for me.
