Watched 10 minutes of the first one, and immediately decided it wasn't for me, deleted all eight episodes. Really couldn't get on with some of the actor choices, especially those playing Vimes; Carrot; or Vetinari. And Death just looked like some poor robot they'd dressed in a cloak.

I got kinda stuck on one of the Witches books, and as a result kinda got out of reading regularly. Reading tends to be something I do periodically in spurts, rather than continuously. I'm sure I'll feel the urge again soon now that days are growing shorter very quickly again...

unlabelledView post →I've just finished reading #TerryPratchett's #Discworld #TheWatch novel #Snuff. Overall it was enjoyable, but not as good as previous books in the series imho. It felt a bit long-winded at times, and seemed to include some characters just for the sake of having them make an appearance. Nevertheless I've had a hard time putting the book (or rather phone with #Kindle app) down at times, so I can't complain too much. It's good to read social commentary mixed with fantasy. Up next: #RaisingSteam
