I don’t know if either of them have names, but the funny thing is they both come back in a couple episodes. 😂 Thanks to Caitlin Glass & Aaron Campbell for having me! #anime

I'm gonna need a recap * **Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 4** - Aside from season 1, this was rather underwhelming, but hopefully the change of the studio will bring some improvements. neutral · AI labelView post →**Re: ZERO** - I still love their commitment to maximizing the time slot. Barely flashed the title screen in the first ep. The arc is starting a bit slow, but in a way that makes sense as build up for later. Its nice to scale down to a smaller group of characters for a while and rotate a few in that haven't been active in a while. It's kind of funny, I don't recall ever really liking the first season, but at some point the world building, characters, etc. all built that into a foundation for a…

The eastern lands and their wonders were really cool to discover alongside Sera and her slowly falling in love with Veor and his nation is cute. There's a lot of buildup for later so looking forward to S2.

The story is cool, I like the characters, except the nun. The pacing is sometimes weird. However, the romance of the Mcs is worth it! 6/10

unlabelledView post →The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King. This thing is strange one It appears as romance for a very specific audience but it's bait. Most of the anime is learning the culture and environment of the "Barbarians" in question. (1/3)
unlabelledView post →The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King Ends With a Familiar Lack of Subtlety The Warrior Princess and the Barbaric King's finale ties up the romance but leaves the political conflict hanging. The show's heavy-handed approach to its theme of dehumanizing enemies persists to the end.
