The Irish gothic horror film is directed by Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead, V/H/S) from a script he co-wrote with Clay McLeod Chapman (Wendell & Wild).

Our queer killer hand movie has been called an “unapologetically over-the-top masterpiece”, “a gleefully gory crowd-pleaser that deserves to be as much a Pride Month ritual…”

neutral · AI labelView post →#FFF movie 4: The Restoration at Grayson Manor. Based on the trailer I expected not good but campy fun. And it *was* campy fun plus better than expected. It wasn't the greatest but mostly it didn't seem to aim for that anyway, it didn't take itself very serious.

It was interesting, but no likable characters + tiredness + aforementioned dwindling humor + slow rhythm=😴 m.imdb.com/title/tt3276...

Colorful characters, vicious dialogue, and a gleeful penchant for violence make this so fun. Chris Colfer & Alice Krige are gloriously evil.
