unlabelledView post →i found the original Nut Job to be pretty good and found myself rewatching it a few times i have no memory of The Nut Job 2 though so i don't really have any bars set for this movie
unlabelledView post →Remembering I can play Baldur's Gate 3 for the seventh time during the most frustrating period of burnout I've experienced so far literally feels like that one fucking scene from the Nut Job movie where Gangnam Style starts playing
unlabelledView post →Today I learned there was an UglyDolls Live, and this was 6 years after the movie came out and in Turkiye. I guess if The Nut Job can have a live show this makes more sense.

unlabelledView post →it’s also has to be a show I’ve watched before bc I get too invested even in “bad” stuff I put on. the other day I put on a 20teens movie called “The Nut Job” which I kid you not is just Bojack Horseman if they were all squirrels (mostly) and it’s hot garbo but I got invested in the plot on god

unlabelledView post →I’m very certain the budget for The Nut Job was blown on getting Gangnam Style, the fact it was heavily advertised and integrated into the movie it makes sense. For Club Penguin, my guess is that it wasn’t in their budget (Disney being cheap), so an imitation was all they could muster.

Honestly, three furry racing animated movies? Unofficial trilogy??? www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwbQ...
unlabelledView post →I get it. The Nut Job is not a great movie. The characters are flat and generally not likeable. There are fart jokes. There's a completely pointless gratuitous nod to PSY, and it doesn't really draw you in or makes you feel for the characters, but... FUZZY-WUZZY SQUIRRELLY-WURRELLIES!!
unlabelledView post →"THE NUT JOB" and "THE NUT JOB 2: NUTTY BY NATURE" are now streaming on Max!
unlabelledView post →2. The Nut Job 2. The film makes me feel at home with its all-anthropomorphic cast of characters. I've always felt most comfortable around these kind of animated films. Surly - as selfish as he can come off - I know he has what's best in mind for others. Even if he is careless about it.

unlabelledView post →New Episode! THE NUT JOB It's Sunday 2014, you all sit down in the theater, the lights dim, and that's when you hear it. The techno bass beat rings in the theater, and you ask yourself: "Are they really starting this movie off with PSY's 2012 masterpiece Gangam Style?"
unlabelledView post →This is like how I feel about the squirrels in the Nut Job movies...like GOD YES they're so adorable (like 3D versions of the Sword in the Stone squirrels) but like...I only saw the first movie and it was fairly mediocre lol (I didn't *hate* it, but that disparity between writing and vis design 😩)
unlabelledView post →That would be so much fun!! I haven't been to Disney since I was 6! That's cool about working the rental place, it's a bygone era now 😭Over the Hedge was a really great movie fr!! You would probably like The Nut Job, it's pretty similar!

It's supposed to be two parallel mob heist stories, but they don't really line up past there being a heist. None of the characters are interesting or likeable, maybe the girl squirrel, the dog, and the mute rat but that's more because they are lovable stupid / naive. You're not supposed to still dislike the "heroes" at the end of the movie. The writing parts of this…
