unlabelledView post →Just finished re-watching THE MIST, still a movie with one of the most f@cked up ending ever, and I was reminded of my dear friend Bernie Wrightson astoundingly creepy creature designs he did for the movie. Miss that artistic genius every day 🖤 @stephenking.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →Horror flicks with dire, downer endings can be masterful. People bring up The Mist a bunch, deservedly, but I always vouch for Alien: Covenant as the only wonderfully deranged ending of any big Alien movie
unlabelledView post →We do not need a new movie of The Mist. The Mist is perfect.
unlabelledView post →Rewatching THE MIST for the first time in a decade and God, what a great, mean little movie. You start thinking right down there at the edge of survival with these desperate people.
unlabelledView post →My wife and I once made some kind of convoluted reference to the movie The Mist when it was foggy outside, so now anytime it's foggy and one of us is leaving the house we say, "Don't get filled with spiders," as a goodbye.

unlabelledView post →Ended up watching The Mist. I *hated* this movie when it came out, partly for the nihilistic ending, but mostly because I found the characters unrealistically insane/cultish/annoying/stupid. Anyway, it's 2025. I'm watching a documentary called The Mist.

unlabelledView post →This week was so nuts I forgot to post that I went to the bleak film festival to see THE MIST in black & white. I was in TOO good a mood this month so far so I just needed to see that ending ASAP. I actually thought the B&W fit better. Thomas Jane and Frank Darabont came too!
unlabelledView post →New vid! Stephen King's works have been adapted to film and television numerous times over the decades, but where are the GAMES? I dug deep to find everything; from a sequel to the Shining made for Duke 3D, to a Christian Flash game based on The Mist and more! youtu.be/NlZ_ODqaCl0

unlabelledView post →Does anyone remember when they made a TV series based on the movie The Mist and it was boring af bc instead of actual monsters the mist made ppl hallucinate their fears or some shit? 😭
unlabelledView post →Books to film 📚=🎞️ The Mist (1980) is a novella published as part of the Dark Forces anthology and adapted to film in 2007 by Frank Darabont. The two version diverge considerably with the novellla setting a bleaker tone with the film providing more answers regarding the mist. 💨🩸🌫️ #filmsky #booksky

unlabelledView post →Drew Struzan made movie posters that were, simply put... Iconic. THE THING, INDIANA JONES, BTTF 1-3 But for me, his "poster" for a non-existent THE DARK TOWER movie, used in THE MIST, was that one that will always stay with me. Long days and pleasant nights to you, paintslinger. #RIPDrewStruzan
