Anybody else tired of Jason Statham’s stone-faced, “I am indestructible” act? The Mechanic (out today, 2011) was a needless remake of a cool Charles Bronson thriller; Ben Foster is fun but Jason gets the Steven Seagal Award for monotone, groan-inducing acting. Stick with Chuck
I'd say that The Mechanic (1972) is one of Charles Bronson's best films. I also like the 2011 remake which sticks to the spirit of the original with Jason Statham as the self-contained high end assassin.
