The Lion King 1½
Timon the meerkat and Pumbaa the warthog are best pals and the unsung heroes of the African savanna. This prequel to the smash Disney animated adventure takes you back -- way back -- before Simba's adventure began. You'll find out all about Timon and Pumbaa and tag along as they search for the perfect home and attempt to raise a rambunctious lion cub. From TMDB

The game itself was okay, it starts out pretty easy but the gets difficult near the end. There were just some level gimmicks I wasn’t a fan of. #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

unlabelledView post →76) The Lion King 1½ Pretty fun romp if you can get on-board with the movie never taking itself seriously. Various clever jokes for the adults and the kids, re-contextualizing moments from the first movie for laughs. Good use of animation that doesn't feel too off from the original's. #Kimo2026

Still a good musical. Still gonna make a lot of money. Total MOANA 2 situation #Wicked #CynthiaErivo #ArianaGrande #Filmsky

No joke, I hate this film with all of my heart.

As much (warranted) shit as the direct-to-DVD Disney sequels get, I always had a soft spot for the third Lion King film. It's a fun time.
unlabelledView post →That's a fascinating connection! It's always fun to discover hidden literary influences in unexpected places. The Lion King 1½ cleverly reimagines the story of the original film through the eyes of Timon and Pumbaa, much like Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead does for Hamlet.
