The huge cast of characters, simple puzzles, and co-op gameplay make it a great casual game to relax with. It’s not very challenging, but if you enjoy LEGO games and goofy comedy, it’s an easy recommendation. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3707448329
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is what LEGO games strive to be. You go on a colorful and chaotic adventure with a team of heroes, rapidly swapping between abilities to traverse harrowing obstacles, and it's all accompanied by appropriately atmospheric music.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →when i was a kid i played this every day on the xbox 360 and i loved t=it and when i got it on steam i loved it more the levels are great and it uses movie scenes as cutscene and yes the reason my steam picture is unikitty is cause of this game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →From someone who hasn't watch the movies yet, i thought it was pretty fun and charming. Like a good decent of the jokes landed right. Worked wonderfully on the steam deck, there was a few hiccups towards the end of the game with the cutscenes but nothing game breaking. Controls worked good, it was easy to know what to do and which characters could do it. Storywise the ending come have used some work, but happily they didn't drag it out. Achievements easy to 100%; levels dont take that long to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had 26 hours on this game and i finished it completely it's one of the most beautiful lego games i have ever played it reminds me of my childhood when i had xbox 360 and i used to play this game what a great game i recommend it to everyone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bought on sale for my nephew to play, very buggy and frustrating to watch him get stopped because the game is broken on PC. In the few hours i watched him play the game crashed on the first level, then his character would get stuck and glitch to where i had to restart it for him several times losing all progress, he fully had to redo every level he played, he made it through 3 levels, i would say between soft lockouts and getting stuck or broken menus etc i had to restart his game about 5…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The core campaign is fine, but it clearly isn't designed to be played after that's completed, it genuinely plays like they didn't Beta Test the "Free Play" whatsoever to work out even a single bug. Every single level I have done in Free Play just trying to 100% the game has soft-locked me, and half that time I couldn't even pause to hit "Save and Exit" so I just completely lose my progress
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The LEGO Movie Videogame is almost a legendary childhood game for me. It was the game that properly introduced me to the structure of LEGO games: collecting pieces, breaking everything around you, unlocking characters, completing levels with different abilities, collecting hidden stuff, and so on. What I liked the most was the open world. It actually feels alive and interesting, not just made “for show.” There are places to explore, things to run around for, secrets, and lots of small details.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Look, i love this game. I played it on xbox, playstation, and even the 3DS. But this PC port has a issue where Abraham Lincon falls off the map then you get soft locked and have to reset the whole level. I tried changing resolution and etc but nothing fixes the issue. Developers, please patch this issue
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thought it was okay but one of the weaker Lego games. The levels are 50/50 and the story seems to skip forward quite a lot, but I haven't watched the movie to compare. It took 5.5 hours to finish the main story so definitely on the shorter side. Make sure you disable Depth of Field or the game will look blurry.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nostolgic Played the game years back when it came out on the Wii-U Got some of the sets And watched the movie when It came out in 2014 I'm 18 now and Replaying the game for the memories. Man back then was a great time to be a kid
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EVERYTHING IS AWESOME Story was okay, voice acting was okay, gameplay was okay, combat was fine, map was lego, soundtrack meh. fav moment was definitely when they add batman and justice league at the end, what i didnt like was that stupid rainbow level, who even is this unikitty. compared to the other game i have played so far this lacks creativity, puzzles feels a lot repetitive, npc rarely fight from my side, wyldstyle voice acting in the gameplay is bad. there was few jokes here and there…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First proper lego game I've ever played pretty fun experience a shame there isn't much penalty whatsoever for dying in a level, would have liked there to be a genuine reason not to die but hey at least the game was still enjoyable 100%ing it wasn't too bad either would recommend if you like this sort of game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i do prefer the console version this port is really buggy. like killing abraham lincon on the escape the cloud world level it soft locks you since he doesnt respawn to get into he's chair so it locks u into the little cutscene. car controls dont add up either on controler since both A and the trigger to accelerate dont actually work even tho the hint says so. i also got stuck with Lucy inbetween 4 flowers making me have to restart the whole level since there was no way to get out of there or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is extremely annoying.. my characters kept getting stuck randomly causing me to have to restart the game to free them which meant i had to replay some of the levels. sometimes saves didn’t even save and all the cutscenes were basically just clips from the movie. not to mention that “everything Is awesome” plays throughout the entire game AND I HATE THAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SONG this is a negative review but i am marking it as positive cuz the pink cat was funny
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This Lego game really makes me nostalgic when I was little, watching this film and when I play this game again, the memories in my brain come back.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unironically one of the best LEGO games, great characters, great levels, great hub worlds. I had more fun 100%ing this LEGO game than a lot of the other more popular IPs. I like how more things in the world are built with LEGOs rather than the average LEGO game which took a more realistic approach to the atmosphere.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the oldest game I have wish-listed on Steam dating back to 2014. Bought this from a GreenManGaming bundle (LEGO At The Movies) alongside 4 other games, absolute gem of a game! Only flaw I'll give about this game and something EVERYBODY here will encounter, the game does not allow you to change your screen resolution. The only way to is to start a new game and enter the pause menu and then change it there. Other than that, I had issues when clips from the movie where playing it would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is probably one of the best if not the best lego game imo, im probably going to go for 100% eventually because this game is so freaking dope for a lego game, also ♥♥♥♥ the second game (i havent even played it yet)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the easier LEGO games to complete and 100%. A fun, entertaining cast of characters and crossovers that doesn’t overstay it’s welcome. Only issues I had was hearing “Everything is awesome!” a ridiculous amount of times. That was not very awesome. Overall, a solid game and an easy recommendation for fans of LEGO games and/or The Lego Movie
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Lego Movie Videogame is a bit of a mixed experience for me. While TT Games has delivered plenty of strong LEGO adaptations, this one felt like a hit-or-miss entry. On the positive side, the story segments can be fun and some of the newly introduced gameplay mechanics are genuinely creative and refreshing. However, my biggest issue is how much content from the film was cut. I understand the need to shorten it for pacing, but it still feels like key moments are missing, leaving the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play The LEGO Movie Game all the time when I was a kid, and coming back to it now honestly feels amazing. It’s crazy how much nostalgia this game brings. The levels, the music, the characters everything just feels so familiar and fun. It still has that classic LEGO humor that always made me laugh, and the worlds are so colorful and full of charm. Even though it’s an older game, it still holds up really well and runs great. Definitely a 5-star game for the memories alone. Everything…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Writing this review as I actively continue to play the game to reach 100% completion. This is the worst LEGO game I have ever played, it is very buggy at the most annoying times, leading me to getting soft-locked in awkward places meaning I have to restart the level all over again, the detector red bricks are inaccurate, it often just shows where the red bricks or other things it detects, will spawn instead of what you must do or interact with like other games do. And the game does a very…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Went in with low expectations but actually found it quite enjoyable. A pretty good example of a Lego game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, 30 years old and still makes me laugh. Hilarious movie, and you basically get to watch it through the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but mediocre game is far from the best Lego game, but isn’t necessarily bad. I rate it a 3/5. If you’re a fan of Lego games and this is one of the only additions to the catalogue that you own, play it. If you have many other additions in your library, don’t bother with this one. As someone who has played many Lego games, I sadly must not recommend this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was gifted this game and pretty much expected to be like the other Lego games. This one is much more straight forward with all main characters having 1-2 core functions. I like this much better that the chaos that is the lotr or Batman games. This game was good for my 3 year old.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is amzing I 100% this game as a kid and then when i was 15 on xbox one and now 19 going to 100% this game again this game was my childhood and the movie was also my childhood this game and movie will always been my childhood game and the first lego game ever played
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now lets be honest is someone going to read a review for a very old lego movie tie in game? no if you were on this page you more than likely knew if you were going to get it already or not. But this was the tail end of peak lego games for me, I remember growing up and playing the lego Star Wars games and even as a kid wanting to complete everything there was to those games and then seeing the golden generation of the lego games come out and every single one feeling like they were as good as the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First Lego game I ever had years ago. Ever since all the other Lego games seemed off having non-Lego things in them. I just wish we got a DLC for the unfinished Benny's Spaceship levels.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is nothing short of a masterpiece. The emotions I felt playing this game was also nothing short of absolute admiration. The journey our brave entourage went through in this novel of complexity and masterclass was simply breathtaking and them using their skills to construct contraptions just using their endless imagination has shown me that even individuals like myself are special and capable of so much in a world full of belittlement and conformity. Even after 12 years since I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All i have to say is that this was my first Lego 100% so im proud. I can recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By far one of the easiest lego games to 100%, however it is full of softlocks and bugs. Still a great game though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →everything is awesome
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →uh 100%'ed it, the base game is pretty short like after finishing the game you're like 20% done but if you're into 100%'ing games then its an alright grind. 8/10 game still nice and really creative
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The LEGO Movie - Videogame The LEGO Movie - Videogame (2014) is an action-adventure game developed by Traveller’s Tales. As the title suggests, the game is an adaptation of The LEGO Movie. The story follows Emmet Brickowski, an ordinary construction worker who encounters the Piece of Resistance, a special artifact that is prophesied to be used by “the Special” in order to destroy a super weapon known as the Kragle. Emmet learns of Lord Business’ plan of utilizing Kragle to freeze the world and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →THIS GAME IS AWESOME! It's a fun LEGO game that ties in with the original LEGO Movie and retells the events in a unique way. Achievement hunting is fun too. My only gripes with this game are that it's far too short, it only took me a few days to 100% this game after completing the story. The collectables are a pain to collect sometimes, especially the red bricks in the HUB. There can be some glitches like the floating Unikitty box in Cloud Cuckoo Land (which can be fixed by just leaving the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Everything is awesome!!! That song shows up everywhere in this game, and I mean everywhere. A movie song comes and goes... but in a game, it becomes a recurring brain worm that had me quietly singing to myself through the entire playthrough and long after. As you'd expect, the game follows the movie extremely closely. Unlike most LEGO adaptations, it barely has to adjust the story to fit humor, gameplay, or justify keeping characters together. It honestly feels like the movie and the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play this all the time on the xbox 360 and now i can again its a bit confusing with the keyboard but you can change the keybinds if you go into the menu in game because the main menu doesnt have options, you can change video settings, just change resolution and everything else to the highest one, this makes the game look normal. with controls, this is the setup i use: Change character - L shift Move and jump - WASD & space look - arrows attack - R shift use or interact - R ctrl

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good game, not as good as the 3DS version. The graphics are clean, the mechanics are excellent and the acting sounds clear. Its one of those games though, that you need to use a controller because the keyboard controls are very clunky.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'll be honest the actual Game is on par with other Lego themed movie games. However this is clearly a older build of the game. If you want the best experience of this game you're better off playing the PS4 or Xbox 1 versions of the game. They run and look better, I know because I've 100% it twice on PS4.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a Lego game....lots of smashing and collecting, the cutscenes are the movie, the game encourages exploration, overall its just a fun time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Positives: - Unique features/abilities 10/10 - Character selection 8.5/10 - Comedy 9/10 - SPACESHIP! Negatives: - Very glitchy with broken parts of levels that stop you continuing or characters walk into death barrier so you can't switch to them to finish level - Bad combat - Gameplay 1/10
