unlabelledView post →"The Legend Of Hei 2" opening weekend box office (China): • 2.86 million admissions • 104 million yuan ($14.5 million) Even better than the 1st 2019 movie. And still historic for a donghua that began as a Flash web-series in 2011.

unlabelledView post →My 7th favourite animated movie from 2025 is one no one talks about. The Legend of Hei 2 is a delightful family adventure film. It continues from the first film without missing a beat. If you like Avatar the last airbender you will like this. Effortlessly engaging. B+
unlabelledView post →Like the first film, The Legend of Hei 2 doesn’t rewrite any rules of its genre but is an example of when everything is just well done. Great world building, lore, character, action, animation, and humour. In a weak year this is my 2nd favourite animated film so far this year. Worth checking out.

unlabelledView post →Rotten Tomatoes - The Legend of Hei 2 www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_legend... I think this film is excellent both as an animation and as a fantasy action movie. The adorable characters performing natural action scenes feel incredibly realistic. The background art is also beautiful.
unlabelledView post →Yet another 2025 animated movie sequel that is better than the original, The Legend of Hei 2 further cements China as the next theatrical animation powerhouse. Chinese animation is officially locked in! #BlazikersAnimationAdventure
unlabelledView post →Watched the Legend of Hei 2 movie! Love the smooth animation. Xiaohei was so cute and Luye was cool!
unlabelledView post →The Legend of Hei 2, 9.3/10 Man this movie kicked ass. Everything I really liked about the first movie is still here, with a much more emotional story to boot. I was enamored by the animation, action, and humor almost the entire time. Honestly I kinda wanna see it again
unlabelledView post →It really goes to show that a home can be a person 🥺anyway The Legend Of Hei is a really wonderful, emotional, cute, and lovely movie. I look forward to The Legend Of Hei 2 ❤️✨

unlabelledView post →My movie recommendation coming out of 2025 is The Legend of Hei 2. I feel like it has been slept on (limited theatrical run, not easy to stream anywhere, overshadowed by Ne Zha 2 in the category of Chinese animated films...). Really solid action, interesting plot and setting, big step up from Hei 1.
unlabelledView post →Went to see the Legend of Hei 2 today. Really fun movie, beautiful fluid animation, lots of cute moments. I recommend it.
unlabelledView post →Went to see The Legend of Hei 2 at the theater. I never saw the first film, but I didn't feel too lost. It had amazingly fluid action animation and the art style is easy to look at. Story is simple, but good. The humor also hits the mark a lot. Gotta check the original sometime.
unlabelledView post →The Legend of Hei 2 is another sequel that is able to build on top of the first movie, and continue to bring people into the world that was made by MTJJ. I kind of wish that the animation style was kept as simplistic as the first movie, (1/3)
unlabelledView post →Wooow. I just got back from The Legend of Hei 2 (went on a whim; I hadn't heard of it before tonight) and had a great time. Really thrilling animated film. Buries Ne Zha 2, imo.
